The paranoia runs pretty strong in that dude. A lot of coins get pumped and dumped on exchanges all the time. I wouldn't take it personally. Stonehenge has a good idea to go and start a new project based off this code. Starting fresh can help get your head straight and bring some positive things to your lives.

I don't think anyone have Hellium to sell. There was no ICO and bounty hunters are not paid as i know. They said that everything will be after Hellium network launching but there are no news. True, since it is not released. However, you could sell the wallet that you have that will eventually have HLM when it launches. If you had SPR at the time of the airdrop then you would have HLM in the same quantity and could sell that off. |

Rule of thumb for me is never buy from price-scalped 3rd party sellers or pay more than Bitmain's price or whoever's selling the miner. Unless Bitmain actually sold these for that much at one point from their store. AMEN Brother!! Also, I use another rule for ASIC, I only but when I can recoup cost between 3-6 months. People love to make these statements about their "ROI versus other businesses." This ain't LIKE other businesses. Those AISC are gonna eventually be semi obsolete. If you bury yourself into a 1, 1.5, 2 year recovery of your investment, you will basically never get even due to new technology. It's always just around the corner. Totally true. I certainly don't miss the $900 power bills in the summer. |

How my L3+ was hacked!Waking up today morning i found my L3+ was not hashing. It turns out it was hashing for some one else on nicehash with BTC address: 14c2ewCFeW1VYtyhLFWB6rFJV36ZysEWUf https://www.nicehash.com/miner/14c2ewCFeW1VYtyhLFWB6rFJV36ZysEWUfit seems some one out there has auto scanner searching network for L3+ and inputs default password of Root: i only lost 8 hours of hashing on 1 machine. here are the following mistakes i made: 1) I put the L3+ in DMZ (nicehash was not working so i figured DMZ might fix the issue) 2) I kept the default user and password 3) disabled firewall on my router Just a headsup to people. to change the default password. In all honesty it was my own stupidity and complacency. I have the same problem with my Baikal A2000. WARNING everyone please not open it in DMZ change the default pw, too. Glad to hear you got it back, though |

I went on Cryptopia the other day and saw the volume was pretty slow. Maybe I caught it at the wrong time, but does it pick up a lot when a coin is released? I hope to pick up enough at a decent price for a MN if folks panic or dump during the initial trading.
I don't think HLM is traded in Cryptopia as the market is disabled until the wallet is released. Or you mean the volume of SPR? I case I missed something, does HLM trade anywhere? Volume overall on the exchange was weak. I had trouble selling some other coins, which is why I wondered if that was normal for that exchange. |

I think the launch will be delayed until bitcoin hardfork is finished, because everyone likes free money from bitcoin hardfork  HLM never start segwit 2 cancelled yesterday and devs are currently working on it. Graham is posting updates in Slack discussing how it is going to work. It will go live when it is ready. |

Yes but would be really nice, imagine dedicated keccak with this thing. Yeah would be great. Unfortunately our dreams don't count no word on that x11 helium coin yet? probably won't make anything on that either but at least on a launch I could have LOTS... (hey, lots of dubious coin crypto on a usb, takes up less room than hoarding cats...in my old age.....) Searing, I think they are going to launch fairly soon. They're still working on the wallet and the network, but I don't expect it to take much longer. Maybe they'll release it in a few weeks. (I hope.) You deserve a god payday. It could fund some more projects for ya. |

I wish I were paying more attention to this. One really can't take a break from crypto. I'd really like to get master node going when the network comes online. We need some really good, quick currencies and I hope this will be one of them.

Mining is fun and for most currencies it is necessary for the currency to survive and flourish. Bashing these folks and throwing this stuff in their face is just being a jerk. Sometimes you make out really well in mining and sometimes you don't. That's the risk you take. I tell you though, there's nothing more fun that getting the boxes out and setting them all up and watching them start hashing away.

I was lucky enough to have put my wallet address in a post as a joke a few years ago. The hacker changed it, but I think Cyrus was able to see that and got me back in. I've never had so much fun deleting posts. From what I can tell someone got into the account, changed BTC addresses, and then sold it to someone for around 0.6 BTC. That person then used the account to join bountys for ICOs. TFIL, I really hope you get your account back. It's an awful feeling to have an ATO.
