All the problems seem to go back to issues with DC/DC subsystem stability and firmware. Look at the notes in the changelog for bfgminer

KnC should just simply ship one Titan to the BFGMiner developer Cool

That would be admitting fault -> open doors for refunds -> customer riots ->  They will live to see the day that they regret the way they have treated their customers. Cash flow from mining/cloud  < operating costs and no customers for products …  kaput

They raised close to $100 million in venture capital a few months ago. They do not need customers. They have big business to screw over now.

Does anyone here buy any knc mining contract
Did work???
Why would anyone want to give them more money?
They'd have a better chance with ROI on a lotto ticket than throwing those schmucks money.
264  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockChain Down? on: October 03, 2014, 05:33:29 AM
Do you guys think it's safe to send transactions now?

no, it's still unstable and not sending transactions into the blockchain.
265  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockChain Down? on: October 03, 2014, 03:15:44 AM
I was in the middle of making a purchase and it crapped out on me. Awesome! Anyone ever have that happen?

Not yet. What happened when you tried?

Blockchain did the adios to the funds, but the other side still does not have the payment. This is what I get about the transaction when I don't get 522 errors from cloudflare:

 Sent Time: 2014-10-03 02:47:46
Confirmations: Unconfirmed Transaction!
Double Spend :No Double Spend Detected
Transaction Fee: 0.0001 BTC
Network Propagation: 0% (Very Poor)

267  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S1 Upgrade Kit on: September 27, 2014, 01:33:38 AM
I asked when they would be back in stock at bitman and was told they are now discontinued. Sad

I'm going to beg. Those kits are awesome!
268  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S1 Upgrade Kit on: September 26, 2014, 08:45:24 PM
I got my 2 today and put them together without any issues. I really enjoyed it and wish I had bought more. BitMain really packed everything well and the units are baking in with almost no hardware errors at 237.7 freq. I wouldn't worry that they don't ship paste since there is more than enough from the S1 card leftovers to sufficiently cover the chips. Also, there is really no noise addition like I had previously thought there would be. I'm very happy I bought these and will pick up more if they ever come back in stock.

how much off were the coupons for S2 owners? Just curious

$200.  They cover all the details on the sale page.   https://bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140916100720380cS1tRWd00684

Good info there thanks. I hadn't seen the updates item.

Has anyone ordered any of these in the past week? Do you know if they are still in stock?  Thanks in advance.
I had such fun time upgrading a couple of S1's that I tried to order more upgrade kits today seeing as I have a pile of unused S1's in my basement. Unfortunately it appears like they are no longer selling them.
mine just arrived today

Mine are coming Friday "i hope". UPS says they're going to CA and I live in Texas :| Anyone had that happen to them before with Bitmain?
272  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 2TH/s, Batch 1 on Sale this week, shipping before Sept. Ends on: September 25, 2014, 01:03:32 AM
so four s1 upgrade kits = .92BTC and you can get those s1s for about $80 each, used of course, which are consuming about 1400w and be close to 2Th....right? Am i missing something?

S1 upgrade kits aren't available right now. I ordered some a day ago, but looks like they are out of stock. Says "up coming".

Damn, I'm sorry to see you guys got KnC'ed again. Sad, but the last 1000 pages are hope, hope, hope, aw shit I just got KnC'ed again. Maybe OldBones has some colleagues that could take your cases?

That price is completely crack-headed, BitMain. What the hell are you smoking over there? No one is going to pay that.

btw, what's up with this self-signed cert on portal.bitmaintech.com?

How many times do you have to get screwed by a miner mfgr before you qualify for senior membership ?

~L)L~

You need to be screwed by at least 3 before you are upgraded

with this prize fall its impossible to ROI and difficult increase doesnt help....

If this continues and BTC doesnt go up i will sell all my equipment Undecided Undecided Undecided

It will go back up - it always does. No need to worry OR sell
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer L1 - Speculation... on: September 18, 2014, 12:40:29 PM
There are unconfirmed, aka no pics, reports of knc's titans shipping. If that is true then the difficulty will be really high by December. Not only will their customers be mining but they will as well. December pre-order is way too risky.
279  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 2TH/s, Batch 1 on Sale this week, shipping before Sept. Ends on: September 16, 2014, 06:28:34 PM
I really like the smaller form factor than the S2s, but I am sure these will be priced disappointingly high. A good offset would be ... Wait for it ... Coupons!

hello

fan speed is normal? s3.

Don't be surprised if it lifts off the ground and flies out the window.
realy? chain 2 is very bad?

but temp is ok

Are the fans fairly quiet? It doesn't sound like an old school vacuum machine does it?
hashrate is good, and reject about 1% in sometimes.

the fan has a sound and it seems its wind is warm.

Just like mine - not hot air filling a room Smiley It sounds like it just can't properly monitor the speed of the fans. Just to cover your bases I'd contact Bitmain and see what they say.
