1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dev is not your friend, so be careful. on: January 05, 2023, 07:40:52 PM
A true dev isn't going to have the time to be your friend nor probably wants to. I enjoyed writing the code and the challenge of making things work. All the other parts of a crypto project are a drain on happiness.
2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] ATHOS META [ATM] Plagiarized Content, Multiple Red Flags on: August 11, 2022, 04:56:21 AM
Wash, rinse and repeat - even reading the plagiarized content is a bunch of gibberish. What is any of that really mean? Do they have a github? What did they fork this off of? Good hunting on this one, FF. Hopefully, folks don't get pulled in if it's phony.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ATHOS META - UNBLOCK YOUR CHAIN ENLARGE YOUR POCKET on: August 11, 2022, 04:51:15 AM
Enlarge your pocket - makes me think of that smiling Bob guy. Good luck if your real. You'll want to address the above ^^^^
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitraCoin [Bitra] PoW and PoS | Hybrid Blockchain (Updated ANN) on: May 05, 2022, 12:56:19 AM
~snip~

NOTE: For your questions and suggestions about the project, please contact us via telegram or discord. I'm not very active on bitcointalk.org.

So hire a community manager. Although telegram is very convenient for quick response, there are essential info needs to be made "permanent" through posting on the forum. And honestly, that is not an excuse. If you're really serious with your project (and suppose you didn't want to hire a CM), you'll make time to visit this thread for few minutes or so. I don't think it'll take 30 mins daily to update everything regarding the project here

Make friends for sure. Trying to run the whole kit and kaboodle by yourself is pretty tough. Best part is writing the code Smiley A lot of OGs here. So, btctalk is pretty important.

I updated the OP pointing to the new ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5192774

I'll see if I can lock the thread

edit: I asked Welsh if there is a way to lock or archive the thread. I don't see an option to do so.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lytix - PoS Maxnode Crypto Platform on: October 09, 2019, 03:45:42 AM
There will most likely be a new ANN by Senaia. That BCT ANN isn't something I can hand off. Everything else is now in his hands. Once he owns DNS then all of it will be completed. There is more information on discord.

this is the only things left:

1. domain name lytixchain.org
2. webserver
3. explorer
4. DNS nodes
5. Crex relationship

Other folks have picked up the social medium parts - thank you

Do we have an updated on how this is being handled?
Saw a post on discord saying that Crex relationship was already handled.
Do you plan on posting the names of the people who got the other functions as well?

best wishes for you and your family.

Hello @everyone,

My name is Badwan and I'm 39 years old. I have been working in the hosting business for years "https://www.hostpuma.com/" and I'm also working on a new blockchain project.

I will takeover the project hosting and development, although I hate that term "takeover" and prefer to say im here to join the project community and help move it foward.

Although im not a developer myself, I already have a developer that we can call if we need help. @faetos has the blockchain updated with no critical issues so the need for a developer is not critical at this moment.

The domain name and network hosting are no longer an issue and will be taken care of in the next 48 hours. New dedicated server will be deployed to host the coin network and website, @faetos will do the transfer so everything goes as smooth as possible.

I hold no lytix coins or any masternodes, with this being said. You don't need to worry about me coming here to bump or dump anything. This is your coin, your investment, your money. I'm here to keep it running and get its value back up.

I can't address/answer everything with one post/announcement, so lets take things step by step and begin solving the issues we have one by one.

One last thing I would like to say is, I saw some discussion regarding "swap" to a new blockchain. Our blockchain is working like a charm without inflation, so there will be no swap or new blockchain!

That's all for now, thank you all for reading.

I wanted to let all of you know some stuff going on in my life which is impacting me and my involvement in this project. I have to spend a lot more time at doctors and treatment for my son that still doesn't talk or eat (drinks pediasure to stay alive.) That's taking a lot more of my time which leaves little time to devote to this project. I'm not sure when he will get better, but hopefully the treatments and therapy sessions will help.

The other shoe that dropped for me was that my employer found this project to be a conflict of interest in my current job and told me to cease and desist my involvement with it. Unfortunately, to keep food on our table and keep my son alive I will have to stop working on this and hand it over to the community. I'm attempting to find folks to run different things (some of which has already backfired today) so the project can continue and eventually thrive.

There a list of items that I need to hand over, so possibly someone can own different things. I'll outline them here so you all can help run them and keep the project going.
1. domain name lytixchain.org
2. webserver
3. explorer
4. DNS nodes
5. Crex relationship
6. Twitter
7. Medium
8. Youtube
9. Discord

The domain name lytixchain.org expires on 11/6/2019. I won't be able to renew it.

We had some one that was faking userIDs which is common in Discord, but I saw in the audit logs that the same user had deleted several comments in scammers and banned several people. That user's account has been removed as an admin. Someone also was posting as me and tried scamming some folks out of coins.

how to reload new wallet 1.7.5 to 2.0.3 please help me

To go from 1.7.5 to 2.0.3 it'd be best to follow the "Another Method" at this page https://lytix-chain-foundation.gitbook.io/docs/

1.7.5's been dead and banned since May.

need run old wallet after  follow the "Another Method" or need to load 2.0.3 wallet?

you put your old wallet.dat in the new wallet (2.0.3) and run 2.0.3. 1.7.5 is dead. Don't try to run that anymore

Akshay Nexus helped us get an upgraded DNS Seeder in place. I highly encourage any coins to use it: https://github.com/akshaynexus/dnsseeder

Maybe the best thing would be having an own exchange. And only accept fiat. I have for a long time been critical to the way it works today.
If a serious company want to adopt blockchain and use let's say Lytix
They now have to buy the extremely unpredictable, don Corleone of crypto, BTC first. Btc does not have a good reputation in banking and other serious departments.
Then they'll have to use a crypto exchange to get hold of the product they want to buy. And crypto exchanges have a rumour worse than anything.

I just don't see it happening. The way to get hold of their product needs to be changed. It's only a matter of time.
Before that happens cryptocurrencies can't be world wide adopted and mainstream.

What do you guys think?

I agree with you there. Having a coin and then trading in another coin is doing a disservice to your own creation. a DEX should be in our future. FIAT DEX.

There's no wonder this days, they say that they support little projects to grow up, but they disqualify exactly this kind of projects.

Ofcourse, they have a team to decide, nothing wrong with that, but we selected this exchange exactly for their name as a trustable name, to show that Lytix is a little project, but with a legit team who wants to be listed on a trusted exchange.

We didn't selected the exchange for the volume or for another things, right now Bittrex adjusted volume is only 24,242,199$ and place 72, even YoBit is on 70 ,which is kinda sad if you ask me.

Wow, that's a drop. We did get some good news. It looks like we're going to be on Coin Market Cap soon. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lytix/ They are still working on it, but showing up on the site is encouraging Smiley

Response on Bittrex listing:

(Bittrex Support)

Aug 21, 15:24 PDT

Hi ,

Thank you for the interest in listing your digital token on the Bittrex Exchange. At this time, Bittrex has decided not to move forward with listing your token on the Exchange. Given the number of tokens submitted for listing and the nature of our decision-making process, we cannot provide additional information regarding our decision.
Best Regards,

@ Bittrex
