721  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling my S5 1 BTC on: June 10, 2015, 03:14:25 PM
Damn, missed this one. Good deal at 1 btc. Wish more S5s were priced the same.

Probably trolling.  Have not received any response.

723  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: difference between kilowatt and kilowatt per hour on: June 07, 2015, 06:53:38 PM
the kilowatt part is mostly the peek usage for the billing time. so the peek usage * 1.71 + (.05 * kilowatt hours)

so since my mining efforts are constant, right?  I wonder what their peak usage thought would be?

You are correct in thinking a constant.  If you run 5kw/hr your peak would be 5kw.
724  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Bunch of C1's, SP20's, S5's, S3's for sale. on: June 06, 2015, 11:49:15 PM
SMH, someone just doesn't 'get' it. Either way. I won't deal with you, so move on and leave my thread.
Please. I'm obviously not getting it. Explain to me how it makes sense to purchase with you, when I've had nothing but good experiences purchasing directly through Bitmaintech.com, and it's cheaper to acquire a "brand new" S5 directly through them, rather than paying $375 for the honor of dealing with an honest and upstanding member of this community like yourself ?
Please stop being so childish and realize you're not wanted. Now leave my thread.. AGAIN.
No.

Please.

Explain to me how I don't get it.

I would really like to know.

It's real simple.  They are selling, so someone must want to buy them.  Pretty easy concept to me.  He's not ripping anyone off with those prices, so what's your problem?  I have Sp20 units on ebay that are selling for >$500.  Why would I offer them here for anything less than the 13% fees they charge?  These aren't being sold to ROI at current btc rates.  So it just comes down to 'do you want one or not'.
725  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 40' wired shipping container that was used as a temporary data center on: June 05, 2015, 03:09:38 PM
Very nice.  I had been thinking about doing this for quite a while, but now on to using modular classrooms.
726  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC Neptune Controller Board Problem on: June 03, 2015, 11:56:14 PM
Recovery to RC6 didn't work either.  Starting to run out of ideas.

So far what I have found is instead of a long white flash, I get 3 short ones each separated by several seconds.  Never gets the green light.

got the same problem since yesterday on 2 board... leds on the bb flash correctly - similar to my other working ones...
did you solve your problem ?

Yes, it was that the controller went bad.  If you are getting the 3 white flashes instead of a long one, then you can pretty much figure you need another controller.  I've been lucky and have been able to pick them up from old Saturn, Mercury & Jupiter machines.  It's the same controller board, just less ports.
727  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Gigampz: Power Supply Kits & Adapters For Bitcoin Mining. Industrial grade. on: June 03, 2015, 02:27:59 AM
Our platinum kit is perfect for running 2 S5's for those that are in on Bitmain's last batch.  Our stock is going fast so don't wait to order your PSU if you have S5's on the way.

Also perfect for an Sp20 full bore on 220v. Smiley  But not sure why you'd want to now.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 03, 2015, 12:50:30 AM

Can someone help me please, ive just noticed that my hashrate dropped a little bit so i have take a look at my knc miner and realise that some part of some cube seem not working. On the picture, we can see that dc/dc 0 and 1 on asic 2 are only at 1 W and same thing for dc/dc 2 and 3 on asic 3. What sould i do and why its like that ? Thank you

That's weird. Did you restart your rig?

Ive just reboot it and get the same thing :S...

Up the mhz on the low dies to 475, save and reboot.  If they work, then you can start lowering the mhz.

Maxime tends to make terrible offers on hardware. I've seen SP20s going for 375+ shipping, although you may get more interest at 350+ shipping IMO.
Where are you shipping from? Personally I'm not interested, I've got way too much hardware. But best of luck.

Well, my offer is based on the fact that I (like everybody) can easily get new S5s directly from Bitmain. I think 340 USD was a fair bulk offer. Not that far from 350 that you are suggesting.

yeah, I think it's the shipping that makes it questionable.  And although I use both S5s and SP20s, there's really not a comparison for build quality and flexibility (not that it makes a difference to some).  BTW, I think you have them reasonably priced in your ebay store after discounting for fees.
730  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 15+TH Mining Farm -- Ideas on price? on: June 01, 2015, 12:08:26 AM
I agree.  I'm at an in between range right now.  If I bump up my usage to 25kw, I can get around $.0751/kwh.  Since I'd have to relocate them to do that, just seeing if it would make sense to sell the 15Th instead.
731  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 15+TH Mining Farm -- Ideas on price? on: May 31, 2015, 11:27:15 PM
No, these are just the standard 220v 24a pdu.

As to the offer from MaximeAD of $3,400 for 10xSp20 shipped to Canada, I'm betting there's a few folks closer that would jump on that price.  I'm not interested in giving them away.  Just looking at whether a package price would outweigh relocating them.  Thanks though.

Edit:  @MaximeAD--If you have 10 SP20 units and want to ship them to Missouri, I'll take them for the $3,400 and then that would make my decision easier Smiley
732  Economy / Computer hardware / 15+TH Mining Farm -- Ideas on price? on: May 31, 2015, 09:25:44 PM
So I have to decide whether to sell my farm or move it.  Here's what it consists of:

10 9 Spondoolies SP20
10 Intel Plat 1200w PSU with breakout boards and pcie cables
3   24a Compaq PDU
10 PSU - PDU cables

Not counting shipping, any ideas on price?
733  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SP20 problems on: May 29, 2015, 08:02:20 PM
I've got 8 units showing up from member MCHouston tomorrow.  If you can't get that one to work, hit me up and I could probably turn loose of one.  I'm pretty sure he/she's taken decent care of them.
734  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Ann]410$ hosted antminer S5(server psu included+PDU) on: May 29, 2015, 02:25:48 AM
Does the community have any info on these guys?  Considering the best price I can currently get on the S5 is $362 shipped, $410 including psu doesn't seem to far off the mark.

Skycoinlab--How's the cooling handled?
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 29, 2015, 02:14:46 AM
people anyone have best settings for undersvolting? for neptune consume less watts

Really?  I've been wondering just what my neptune consumes.  Since it's on 240v, I don't have a kill-a-watt meter.  I know the gui shows 4TH @ 1650w (6 cubes) but who knows how much is lost from other stuff even if using plat psu.

My SP20s get just under .5w/gh when I use the plat psu and underclock to 1150-1200gh.

Finally, my Mycelium Entropy is on it's way Smiley

I've had mine for a month or so now.  Very nice and handy.

For everything you do for the pool and community, I wouldn't give it a second thought if I didn't see you on the pool. Keep up the good work.

739  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Bitmain S5 -- $362.50 You supply Shipping Label. USA Only Any interest?? on: May 18, 2015, 01:09:46 AM
Thanks for the offer.  But with lack of interest, I'm going to close the thread.
740  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: NIB Antminer S4+ (2.5th/s) Units - $800 Shipped (1x Open Box S4+ NEW 3BTC takes!) UPS Ground on: May 16, 2015, 11:52:32 PM
Thanks for the sales. My sales are still active for pre-existing clients and through my Amazon store which you can always send me a private message. Not taking any new clients through here on the forum.

So what's your Amazon store?  A quick search shows only 3 offerings for S4+.  And all are over $1,300.  Thx.
