741  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1800 TH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: May 16, 2015, 03:16:18 AM
Thanks for the response.  Sure wish I didn't lose my space for my 20TH.  I love this pool.  I know you don't believe in merged mining, but those little trickles would be nice when we are so low on hash power.
742  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1800 TH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: May 16, 2015, 02:38:19 AM
Kano,

Can you check my last few shifts?  I've been watching lately and noticed the pool side is running a couple hundred GH lower than my machine reports.  For the past couple of hours I'd check the pool and then the machine.  The miner has always been showing over 4Th, but the pool worker has been showing 3.83Th.

Thanks,
B.
743  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Bitmain S5 -- $362.50 You supply Shipping Label. USA Only Any interest?? on: May 16, 2015, 12:59:09 AM
since you have to provide the shipping label, the Unit's get shipped to him first.

Yes, that would be correct.  Ognasty or someone would hold escrow until you received your unit.  There really doesn't appear to be that much interest.  I was just seeing it save $20/unit, but it might not anyone else.
744  Bitcoin / Group buys / Bitmain S5 -- $362.50 You supply Shipping Label. USA Only Any interest?? on: May 15, 2015, 02:39:37 AM
I see on Bitmain's website that if you purchase between 21-25 units, the price with shipping is $362.47.  I was thinking of ordering a batch if that's a good price for folks and there was some interest.  Not knowing everyone's shipping costs, I'll wait to hear some feedback.

Of course you should use escrow!!
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 12, 2015, 11:51:29 PM
Amazing how people will buy machines BEFORE doing any research.

This coming from a dickhead who handed over 51BTC to a scammer in England with a totally fictional company:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=429513

And he still comes on here acting the expert and handing out advice  Cheesy

Yep you have losers and winners in this game!
The losers show a lot of envy here.
While mining at ~7.5 TH makes me quite happy with my KNC miners.

Who is envious? KFC rigs are uneconomical garbage. You are either on the kfc payroll (most likely) or will sooner or later realise you are pissing your money away using their rigs. Either scenerio makes you a loser in my book Smiley

I didn't know Kentucky Fried Chicken had miners.  The Neptunes are hit and miss.  If you can get one running they are very stable and efficient.  If you can't. You're s-o-l.
746  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 17 Spondoolies-Tech miners (12 SP30s + 5 SP35s) + hosting contract for sale on: May 12, 2015, 12:35:48 AM
I know this is a rather old OP, but running current numbers, $18,500 is more in line.  I looked at Hashplex and they are charging about 100% more than elect rates service.  That kind of premium is hard pressed for such a short lived asset.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 04, 2015, 10:02:23 PM
Hello everyone.

I stumbled upon this site after attempting to find answers dealing with the used KNC Neptunes I bought.

I'm seeing now that I probably should have avoided KNC....what drives me insane is that all the knowledge on their forum, THEY JUST DELETED IT!

Okay down to it....I have 5 Neptune rigs, each with dual 1300w EVGA PSUs. I have managed to get 3 up and running, and was having issues with the 4th and 5th ones.

It seemed to come down to the controller cards. I have 2 that were just STOPPED. Flashed RC6 with a microSD card, no change (FYI for those working with these WARNING: RC6 firmware kills the ability to set a static IP, it was just revert back to checking DHCP).

So, I ordered (2) new BBB RevC, and have successfully flashed RC6 onto one, and have replaced one of the RevB BBBs that seemed to be bad. Up and running great.

However, I have the same issue with the second new BBB as well, everything looks like it flashed fine....and now just sits at STOPPED state. WTH?!?!? Also, the ones that are affected by this, the FIND MY MINER option fails to light the LED, I thought that behavior was odd.

Also, what is the flashing process as it is? I downloaded the RC6 firmware, setup the SD card per instructions, load SD card with power OFF and all cables disconnected, wait for flashing green light to show success (in subsequent attempts to flash, I sometimes do not get this green light).

Is it possible to downgrade? What is the process? I have attempted to download the 1.02 and 1.06 .BIN firmware images, but selecting them and hitting UPGRADE from the UI does nothing, I am always on RC6. Is there another method to downgrading? Do I have to cook my own image with the 1.02/1.06 .BIN files and then flash?

Does anyone have any further experience or have any similar stories?

Glad I finally found a group who are using these, almost impossible to find info on running them out there. I like my new S5s wayyyyyyyyy better when it comes to setup and config, a breeze.

First thing:  When you boot up the BBB & Controller Card, is the white light a flash or longer?  If it flashes 3 times, it's a bad controller.

Weren't most SP20s for the 15 batch like 415 a machine I don't know to many people that just bought one from them for 5 hundred lol.. I just want to know what you want for bulk price it seems like your trying to get individual price for each piece but you want to sell them all to one person? I thought bulk was cheaper lol..

I wish I would have done this http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/holiday-special-sp20-mini-farm-batch-2

I guess I won't worry about offering them here, since so many folks are selling them for so much less.
749  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 20TH/s--5xSP20, 4xS5, 2xNeptune (Original Shipping Boxes) on: May 01, 2015, 11:30:12 PM
Looking for upper $.20/gh + shipping.  I think Bitmain is right at $.30/gh before shipping. Spondoolies were at around $.32/gh when they had them for sale.

I was offering about $.25/gh...

What are you asking for your hardware? It would help potential buyers.

Correct, you were offering low to mid 20s.  I said I was looking for upper 20s.

Thanks!  Also, for those that may not know, the Neptunes run around 3.3-3.5TH each and pulling less than 1900w on 220v.  As a matter of fact, with the latest firmware, the GUI is showing .42w/gh.

751  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Skyhook Bitcoin ATM - SKY11A (USD/BTC) - $925 on: May 01, 2015, 10:55:46 PM
It gets btc from a blockchain.info wallet.  These things are very temperamental and require a high level of technical knowledge to operate when they act funny.  The company that makes them, BTCPDX is ABSOLUTELY ZERO help on support.  They're not even shipping last I heard on the skyhook reddit.  The only support you will get is from other users on the reddit page.  http://www.reddit.com/r/projectskyhook

Im not trying to shit on your sale here...  just letting people know these are not easy to deal with.  They violate kyc/aml laws so they are basically useless.  If you are not very technical person this may not be the right atm for you even if you don't care about kyc/aml.  My experience with mine was basically a total waste of money except for the fact that I take it to meetups and it make for a nice addition.

This is incorrect.  I've discussed the matter with FINCEN and as long as it's your coins and there's no third person involved, it does not violate the kyc/aml laws.  Also, in Missouri, you don't even have to register with Department of Finance or Revenue (sales tax).  I've got 2 right now and once up and running they work great.

I would be interested in hearing more can i pm you on this? If so it serves to help the seller Tongue
Sure.

What do you want for the sp20's? and are they the SP20E?

Yes, the SP20s are SP20E units.  Looking for package price before wanting to piece it out.  This is a pretty efficient setup for someone wanting a small farm.
Agreed, what is your bulk buy price?

Had to shut down my mining farm as I've lost my work space.  These are all working great. If need be, I can post pics.  Looking for best offer.  I've got them listed separately on Ebay, but figured here would be a better start.  And NO!!! I don't expect Ebay prices from board members just reasonable!

Of course escrow, you pay.

Shipped from Missouri, USA -- USA only please.

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but wanted to let fellow Mid-MO members know we now have a bitcoin atm/btm running in Columbia.  Exchange rate is Coinbase +5%. $500 limit per transaction.

Suggestion:

It might have already been ruled out, but having the "when" information for the blocks on the "Rewards" & "Payments" screens would be nice for when you are looking at a specific date range.  I find myself having to flip to the "blocks" page to get the block range based on dates and then to the other pages to compute rewards.

If you have been screwed by KnC, there are at least three law firms you can contact.

Read and see if any of these issues apply to you below.

What about cancelling your order for a Neptune when they took too long and then received a refund?  Grin

Sorry, didn't see the compromise post.  Go ahead and sell to others. I'm pretty stuck on my $ numbers and btc seems to be having an up tick right now.
