Jason's just staring at his door waiting for the police to come pay him a visit.
Has anyone started a lawsuit or referred him to consumer affairs? There's a lot of grumbling but I'm just wondering how far people will go to get back their money? Seems that people are waiting for updates but what sort of update is realistically expected? - the guy won the lottery and is going to refund all your cash  Hopefully things turn out ok for those folks who've invested and lost moolah on unable-to-be-delivered product.  The kind of update I'm waiting for is the actual delivery of the devices. So, the delivery of the products but compensated in hashrate according to the competitors, which was told at the "beginning" of this process. If that is not going to happen, which is quite likely now  , I would love to somehow see an other compensation. I spend a large part of my BTC at that time on these ASICs. And that during a time the value of the BTC was quite high.. |

ik krijg eens in de 2 dagen uitbetaald van cryptsy en loopt lekker door
Momenteel niet denk ik? Aangezien de website al een tijdje offline is.. Hopelijk hebben ze de "backend" wel alles in orde en worden de opbrengsten gewoon goed verdeeld.. Nu MintPal offline lijkt te gaan wordt het voor mij tijd om minder coins op diverse exchanges te gaan bewaren.. |

he keeps deleting my posts too  Yeah, I called it a quasi-hoax back in March, got my post deleted, seems like I was on the right trail eh?  He was insulted by you calling his project a quasi-hoax. It was a full-blown scam, and he wants all the credit that he deserves. Seriously, read the last 50 pages or so of the thread at https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2702 . We've got nothing from him but lies and empty promises. And now he will no longer be bothered even giving us that much. Whatever you do, do not trust this man or any project he is involved in in any way whatsoever. I did, I kept reading the Litecointalk thread from April to the end of the summer and when Aug/Sept rolled around it pretty much confirmed my suspicions. Seems like a lot of the other mining companies are following suit. :-/ Sorry for a late reply... I'm afraid you were on the right trail, unfortunately. I don't have the time to check that Litecointalk topic day in day out, but I haven't noticed any decent updates the last weeks.. Only "updates" which didn't became true. Jasinlee stated in an IRC session that he would be more active on the forums, but I haven't read any message of him since. |

Indeed it is, in my opinion. In my view you should posts messages in this forum in order to receive some 0.0x BTC. You should post messages because you want to contribute to the subject spoken about. These payouts should be seen as a little extra  . I don't post a lot, but if you succeed to receive 0.025 BTC per week I think it's a great deal for just hanging around this forum and posting a bit. |

I think we made so progress the past weeks. We have a Coin Blockchain Explorer and Europex is running again.
I'm speaking with Edumoto to see if we can host the website on a better hosting solution.
We need to define the next steps and i'm willing to do the development.
I will ask Edumoto to setup a pool so we can vote on the next steps for Educoin.

I agree on the fact that some progress has been made. But way not enough I think. Atleast we got a solid base now, as my wallet is working. I think we - indeed - should look at atleast 1 (but better more - in terms of spread the hashrate) working, active pool in order to confirm the transactions made. After that, we somehow need to attract more people.. Does anyone has ideas? Maybe we should start with a working faucet? This will atleast bring some new users into the coin. |

Gelukkig gaat hij nu weer de goede kant op, op naar de 500 euro  De koers is weer goed aan het stijgen inderdaad. Welkom op het forum trouwens! Voor de mensen die wederom ingekocht hebben rond de $280-$300; applaus! Voor deze paar uren heb je een leuke winst kunnen behalen  . Of je bewaart ze voor de lange termijn natuurlijk. De €500,- vind ik wat vergezocht binnenkort, aangezien we nu rond de €300,- zitten. Echter is dit natuurlijk niet onmogelijk. Wellicht over een 2-3 maanden . |

I managed to find a build that works but it's been synchronizing with the network for almost a day and it's around 75% still. Is that normal?
I don't think so. I just synched my old wallet again without any problems, although it really takes long to see the wallet itself on your screen. It's probably already synching on the background before it shows up. I'm currently at block 691050. I just transfered my lasts MRC to Alcurex in order to swap them for the new MRC. |

Nu steeds meer webwinkels het gaan accepteren en omdat er nauwelijks transactiekosten is hoop ik toch dat het beter aanslaat bij 'de normale man'.
Dat is inderdaad hetgene dat de Coin kan redden in mijn ogen; meer adaptatie bij 'de normale man' en daardoor dus een grotere adaptatie. Bitcoin is immers ontstaan als een betaalmiddel right? Wellicht als het hele "investeringsgebeuren" omtrent de coin minder hip is, kan deze adaptatie in goede banen worden geleidt doordat de value van de coin niet meer zo speculatief is. Echter zal dat investeringsaspect altijd aanwezig blijven lijkt mij.. Maar wellicht dat dit ooit rond een bepaald niveau blijft hangen. Bijvoorbeeld €1000 tussen €1050 ofzo.. Ik las vandaag een artikel over een onderhuidse NFC chip die je in kunt laten planten in bv je pols waar je BTC heen kunt sturen en waar je mee kunt betalen. In een dergelijke chip (al dan niet met cryptocurrency) zie ik best toekomst. |

Het is weer aardig aan het stijgen; nu 342$ op bitstamp. Zelf 5 btc gekocht op $302 na de drop naar 275$ maar iemand een verwachting of het blijft stijgen? Is alle lucht eruit? Zit nu te twijfelen om mijn winst te pakken of toch maar te hodlen.
Op zich is dat een lekker winst voor die paar uurtjes dat je de investering hebt gehad. Maar de keuze is volledig aan jou natuurlijk, plus is er ook nog een middenweg . Zelf ben ik van mening dat we ooit nog wel hogere waarden gaan behalen, en dat is de reden dus dat ik niets verkoop. Echter is zo'n winst binnen 24 uur natuurlijk niet verkeerd.. |

Volgens mij zijn er een aantal redenen waarom de koers maar blijft zakken ondanks al het goede nieuws van de laatste tijd: 1) De koers stijging van het einde van 2013 was puur een bubbel en er was mijns inziens geen enkele fundamentele reden voor. Nu zie je dat die bubbel aan het leeg lopen is ondanks de verbeterde fundamenten. 2) Er is op het moment geen (grote) adoptie van btc door de gewone man. Eind 2013 zijn er veel mensen ingestapt die dachten snel rijk te worden gevoed door alle nieuwsberichten. De hype is echter over en in mijn omgeving hoor ik er niemand meer over. Waarom zouden ze ook? We hebben in Nederland met pinnen, ideal en sepa overboekingen een vrij goed banksysteem ondanks alle storingen. 3) Minen is niet meer lonend voor de meeste mensen dus van die kant is interesse in btc ook aan het verdwijnen. De tijd dat je ROI haalde in 30 dagen en daarna geld verdiende is wel zo'n beetje over. 4) Adoptie door bedrijven is een goede zaak maar de meeste van die bedrijven verkopen de ontvangen btc direct voor dollars wat zorgt voor een neerwaardse druk op de koers. En dan is er dit nog natuurlijk: We praten met bitcoin wel over een globale markt, de waarde van die 3600 btc is echt een muggenscheet op die schaal. Een paar grote jongens, of een enkele zelfs, kunnen bitcoin op dit moment volledig de grond in drijven of naar de maan sturen.
Daar noem je goede punten. Ondanks dat er de laatste tijd toch veel goed nieuws verschijnt over Bitcoin en bedrijven (en banken) die de coin accepteren, heeft dit (nog) niet het gewenste effect gehad. Ik ben benieuwd wie of wat deze daling gaat redden. Ik verkoop echter geen penny. Met deze waarden heb ik véél te hoog ingekocht, al speel ik momenteel ongeveer quitte (doordat ik ooit ook wat positieve resultaten met trading etc). Dat is jammer, maar ik vind het niet heel erg. Wellicht is dit een goed begin van de toekomst, nu wordt het voor de gewone man ook wat makkelijk om in te stappen dan toen er waardes waren van $1100.-. Natuurlijk, je kon toen ook "een deel van een bitcoin" kopen, maar het is natuurlijk aannemelijker dat de huidige (+/-) $300 verdriedubbeld in waarde dan de $1100 toen, in mijn mening dan. We zullen zien hoe dit verloopt. Panic sellen zou ik ten aller tijden afraden, maar die keus is natuurlijk voor iedereen zelf. |

Have you guys noticed all the spam some of those addresses received i.e. messages begging for some coins?
Just scroll down in their histories and you will see them.
I just noticed, and I lol'd. Asking "loans" from a stranger to another stranger. Eventhough you have that much of BTC, I'm sure you know other, better ways to spend "some" BTC on than just handing out BTC to random strangers. I also recently heard of spam send to "normal" users, also with promotional goals. I'm glad my wallet hasn't received these yet, although my public wallet doesn't have that much BTC on it . - - More on topic, actually some of these addresses have moved balances since the start of this topic. Some of them might have sold a part of their BTC, but I also do think that most of them probably moved some balances. |

Well, I just found out and still have 80'000 of the "old" Applecoin, now only worth like 52 Bucks...Were the old Applecoins exchanged 1:1 for the new Applecoin? I don't think you can trade them 1:1. But you really missed an opportunity to sell those 80.000 old Applecoins for great money! Months ago those Applecoins were definately worth a lot. Currently, they don't have much value.. I'm not into the new Applecoin. |

Heb jullie site de afgelopen weken bijna dagelijks gebruikt. Echter sinds vandaag geen bitcoins meer in stock?!
Wellicht heeft dat te maken met de huidige koers. Momenteel staat de Bitcoin voor $290 geprijsd. Enorm laag dus. Voor mensen die wél een toekomst zien in Bitcoin lijkt me dit een juist moment om in te stappen. Er zijn overigens meer manieren om BTC te kopen dan Litebit, maar daar ben je waarschijnlijk zelf ook mee bekend. |

I was also wondering this. But, as the signature is designed by the website I think the website won't reconize the signature if you add a ref url. So, this means that it won't see your signature as valid. However, I'm not sure and I might be wrong. Please clear this up Pocket Dice . |
