1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do well know companies accept altcoin? on: July 08, 2017, 05:40:44 AM
Not the case really, I only see Ethereum and Litecoin being accepted in the future. Other than these, I don't see any other altcoins being accepted by bigger companies because of the risk which stands if the coin suddenly falls.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hatred in Crypto on: July 07, 2017, 02:23:12 AM
A coin dev's dream would be seeing his coin prevail over all the other ones and this comes at a great expense, trashing other coins. It's pretty common in the world of growing cryptos and you won't find a fitting solution to this.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when do alt coins hit exchanges on: July 07, 2017, 02:13:32 AM
A coin hits the exchanges when it's developers find it ready to hit the exchanges after finishing up with all needs and developments for the coin. Usually the devs request the exchange to add the coin and I'm not exactly sure on what basis the exchanges accept or reject adding the coin.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] DeepOnion TOR Integrated, No ICO/Crowfund, Free Airdrop on: July 06, 2017, 05:55:05 PM
Looks very interesting from the surface I'll be curious to see how this goes. I'll definitely be there for the airdrop!
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: July 06, 2017, 05:48:35 PM
found this website that lists active and upcoming airdrops

http://airdropalert.com/

Subscribed to their email function, hopefully I will get notified in time for upcoming airdrops

This is a really good find for some nice upcoming airdrops and email notifications about them would be just perfect.

1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ Top 5 Best Cryptocurrencies & Alt-coins Investment for 2017 ★★★★ on: July 06, 2017, 05:16:15 PM
For me, the top 3 are -

1. BTC
2. ETH
3. XRP

BTC and ETH are clear choices for first and second place. I chose XRP over the other because I see potential in the coin to pip over its contenders and will come out on top.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All the Altcoins I have invested in... on: July 06, 2017, 05:08:46 PM
Most of these investments of yours are really doing well and will give you lots of profit even on the longer run so you made wise choices while investing.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] ¤ RSGPcoin ¤ Revolutionizing In-Game Currency Exchange ¤ Giveaway ¤ on: July 06, 2017, 05:00:43 PM
Why go to such an elaborate extent to make an altcoin related to a dying game?  Runescape died with EOC and only 07 keeping it afloat while that too is still not making players stay.

Anyways, the idea of 2147 coins relating to 2147M max cash stack seems like a troll to me but good luck.

I heard about that game 8 or so years ago, and somebody even told me that it was going to be ported to and fully supported by linux. I ignored that statement and have never recalled about that game again except one occasion. A friend of mine brought it home and tried to plug a cartridge into a console slot. What happened next is electricity shut off.

This right here is weaponized autism, runescape in a cartridge?? LOL.

As for the guy thinking this is a troll, no this is serious and you can check KNC to verify that, we are not a team of shitcoin producing Indian devs, also OSRS is still massive and has a huge RWT economy. Smiley

Good luck with your coin anyways, Jagex will come along the lines and 'shit' on your coin while approving RSGP as the only currency they approve.

You need to watch whats written in your trust rating before trash talking about Indian devs mate.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: South Korea’s Largest Ethereum Exchange Was Hacked on: July 06, 2017, 04:52:41 PM
Pay attention to your ETH, guys! Look what happened to South Korea.
https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/bjxnjw/south-koreas-largest-ethereum-exchange-was-hacked

And this is why you never use exchanges as wallets. If you have to trade, you can't avoid the risks of depositing to an 'outside wallet', but you can't trade with a zero balance either Sad they need to make a decentralized exchange thats easier to use than EtherDelta, it's confusing to me. Something like IndieSquare maybe, you can place orders within the same app as the wallet. It should be even easier on the ETH blockchain, counterparty is kind of suck because of the state of bitcoin.

Its pretty pathetic to use an exchange as a wallet. If someone lost their coins because the exchange got hacked and they had their coins on the exchange account, I would say they deserved it because of the level of carelessness shown in holding onto your hard earned coin. There are many MEW fakes being used to phish people and one must make sure the URL is correct before accessing the site.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is litecoin one of the best investment on the market? on: July 06, 2017, 03:53:35 PM
LTC was the second major crypto to come out after BTC and even after a real bad few years, it is coming back to shape recently because of the development going on around it. Its definitely a good investment right now for the future.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solving the ICO Dump Crisis on: July 06, 2017, 03:49:26 PM
There is no solution to this altcoin dumping problem which is running on a much larger scale with many number of ICOs turning out to be scams. The best way to go about this is to not invest in ICOs at all unless you are totally sure that you're not putting your money into the pocket of a scammer.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did I made a good investment? on: July 06, 2017, 02:09:51 PM
If you could give us some more information like what price you bought those coins at and till what time do you consider holding onto them, we could help you out. A nice chunk of coins you have invested in have been rising up until recently.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the best ico selling in july on: July 06, 2017, 01:36:20 PM
I can see only see the potential in Coindash out of everything mentioned OP, its a really hard choice to make when there are so many different ICOs you can invest in and the every single one of them has unique features which come with it.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SKINCOIN - CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR eSPORTS INDUSTRY on: July 06, 2017, 12:48:17 PM
I noticed that Bittrex and Polo hasnt been adding any gambling token latetly, i hope this will not affect Skincoin

SKIN is not completely referred to as a gambling token, its basically a token of trade for CSGO/Dota 2 items so I don't think there should a problem being added on exchanges.

i really hope this coin launch before TI 7 of dota 2, there will be a lot of transactions when the TI7 begin, and also dota 2 has 4 major in one years, there are a lot of potential if this project really exist,..

TI7 main event begins from August 7th and this would a great time for SKINCOIN to start off. Lets hope the developers are as optimistic as us.

Also, no more Dota 2 majors from next year, Valve is fucking everything up for next year.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to solve the ICO and shitcoins madness? on: July 06, 2017, 12:29:57 PM
I don't think 95% of the altcoins will die off, not even close. If you look around, almost all the new coins and ICOs in the market have a very unique use or at least differ from each other in multiple ways so you can't completely deem them useless before they're actually put to test. I agree with your point that some altcoins are being dumped on the newcomers but as a newcomer, its your responsibility to do some research before you invest in anything.

I get what you're saying but newcomers are being sold lies which they believe in because the shills are everywhere. They create websites, twitter and yt account, share fake articles and everything possible, just to convince them. From their perspective, it's not that easy as "do some research before you invest in anything" because in that research they will find exactly these "traps" that seems real to them.

By the word 'research', I mean the information which is being posted about the coin/ICO by other people and not coin/ICO owners itself. If somebody invested in a coin and found out it was dumped, he would definitely make a post about it to spread awareness about the same and when you read this you will clearly decide not to invest there.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does your due diligence look like before investing in ICO? on: July 06, 2017, 12:24:01 PM
If you intend on investing in an ICO, it would be great if you do an extensive research about the coin and its features and you will have an answer for yourself whether you feel like it will take off or not.

As a beginner it would seem hard because everything seems as sweet as chocolate but only some of them are actually chocolates while the rest are all dirt.

1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What people are willing to buy steem using bitcoin? on: July 06, 2017, 12:02:16 PM

Nope. The big payouts have hundreds of votes. The secret to Steemit is to build an audience of people who will follow you, and thus all your posts are listed in their feed. But in order to do that you need to be a good writer, plus do some networking (voting and commenting on other people's posts etc).

I completely agree with you here, its all about getting a massive audience to follow your feed and being able to reach out to more people which will automatically increase the number of votes you acquire for a particular post. Online fame can get you some dank cash sometimes and this is one of those situations.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Alert ! Secure your myetherwallet on: July 06, 2017, 06:41:33 AM
Double check the URL before logging in to be 100% sure you're logging into MEW and not falling prey to a phishing site. I feel sorry for your losses though.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest your money in Ico on: July 06, 2017, 03:26:01 AM
The risk factor definitely exists but if the ICO you invested in is a big hit and lifts off, you will be able to make more money than by buying and selling altcoins at margin prices.

I would do extensive research about an ICO before deciding to invest in it and look around for resources to make my decision.
