501  Economy / Services / Re: There is no Electricity Cost in india for some regions. want to mine? contact me on: November 26, 2017, 02:04:23 PM
Pretty sure you mentioned SC/ST somewhere in the discussion above and later deleted the post, but I'm here to enlighten you about how and why you will miserably fail with your attempts at achieving this 'free electricity' gimmick.

Firstly, living in a metropolitan city, I can assure you everyone pays the same electricity bills depending on the units consumed, irrespective of caste. You're probably exploiting a loophole around the system as this is the system is followed throughout the country as far as I know.

What you're probably doing is falsely claiming to be either SC/ST by providing fake documents but even if you manage to pull this off, don't expect your mining farm to last long as sleuths will catch you one way or the other.

-snip-
I am saying its more than like free here. 2.5$ is not an amount which you can compare. And Its not illegal. I was referring to the companies where they always pays the bills but you can use the electricity as much as you want. There is nothing illegal.

What's the $2.5 nominal cost here? Looks like an attempt to bribe your local power officer to keep to let you continue with your shady activities without being caught. Let me tell you, any attempts of this sort can get you behind bars.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive Bitcoin Core smear campaign on reddit's r/btc on: November 26, 2017, 01:43:22 PM
I never believed in bitcoin cash because of their seemingly for profit and monopolization/centralization model. However, greed got to me and I got tricked into buying BCH for the first time last week, all thanks to the /r/BTC subreddit. With bitcoin now at $8800 I got burned badly and I now hate bitcoin cash immensely. Its my fault.

But you should now that they talk shit about bitcoin over there relentlessly. I don't exactly why i am sharing this but i get angry whenever i think about /r/btc.
They are fooling people into think bitcoin core is something evil. Something must be done.

Subreddits are sometimes found which deriving pleasure from another individual's pain (not empathizing for the loss) or at least that's what I think it is. I have lurked around in /r/BTC and a good chunk of the discussions over there are just bashing Bitcoin without understands its real world applications. Why would you take advise on a discussion board with the larger group of posts being trolls/bashes. Its supposed to a Bitcoin subreddit and magical advise on how Bitcoin Cash is better than Bitcoin pops up and you're not sketchy at all? Sorry to be blunt but it is your own responsibility to do prior research before going with advise of some random internet trolls.
503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will there be correction? on: November 26, 2017, 01:10:45 PM
Might see Bitcoin go up to the five digit mark before any sort of correction happens. Remember when all of the bubble accusations were flying around when Bitcoin was around the $6k mark? Feels like it just absorbed all the negativity and turned it positive, pushing its price all the way up to here. Now there's literally nothing which could be considered as an obstruction in Bitcoin's course and any sort of correction seems unlikely until we reach a point where a new set of bubble call outs come along or more countries resort to banning Bitcoin.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you think about Ethereum's rise? on: November 26, 2017, 12:57:14 PM
Ethereum has been around the altcoin market blocks for a couple of years now and it has never failed to impress. Having over thousands of alts under it which are bound by respective smart contracts, it is becoming a stronghold, holding its own against Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. With major updates already being announced for the coming year which will see some revolutionary changes to the protocol, ETH is heading only one way and that is upwards.

506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Ether Prices Surge to Fresh All-Time Highs on: November 25, 2017, 06:26:13 PM
Six hours in for Bitcoin, we're already at $8600 mark which makes the growth from yesterday just over 15% which is quite a lot. Looking like there's nothing that could stop it from reaching the $9000 milestone which would be another feat in its books. I'm expecting it to dip back down again after reaching 9k as it seems too hasty in heading towards the five digit mark.

Ethereum on the other hand is also having a ripe time, hitting all time highs consistently this week. Just a matter of time till Bitcoin starts falling off a bit to stabilize and ETH will follow it back down while taking more time to recover. None the less, the future is looking bright with the 4 digit mark within grasp in a few months or maybe for new year.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: November 25, 2017, 06:09:14 PM
in the night:
-Cleveland has made its 7th consecutive victory by suffering against Charlotte (100-99)
-Indiana has made its 5th consecutive victory against the strong Toronto. Indiana will easily qualify for the playoffs this year
-Boston returns to victory after interrupting the 16 consecutive wins
-another defeat for Oklahoma this season (already 10 defeats of18 games played!)
-Golden State humiliated Chicago 143-94 (+49)

Great clutch play by LBJ and co. in the fourth quarter that ended up giving them the win over Hornets to continue their streak.
Pacers are looking really strong with their consistent performances throughout their visits and even at home.
Kyrie is putting in numbers as usual for Celtics. Saw him being a nominee for potential MVP contestants, won't be surprised if he bags it if he remains consistent. Hayward's absence isn't effecting them too much as they've been getting their wins either ways.
OKC looked pretty good during the first half with a 10 point lead and it was quite surprising they lost the game eventually. Going to be a hard road ahead for Westbrook and co. with too many losses under their belt.
Warriors, without KD mind you, just made it look so easy. Curry, Iggy, Klay making basketball look simple and the bench chiming in later to put up a huge marginal victory over a struggling Bulls' squad.
508  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex trading news update on: November 25, 2017, 05:57:48 PM
Yeqh I got that email too. I guess their website must be struggling. It sounds like they're making changes to take strain off. Why not just make your website better rather than start trimming fat here and there? Or do both at the same time?

Indeed it becomes a huge struggle when the user base of an exchange swells and there isn't enough resources to back up the same. Bittrex's support team is already taking their own sweet time dealing with tickets and trades below 50,000 satoshis would just add up to the pile and make it even harder for them. The stale order removal is a move which would ease the burden on the servers so that too is just fine as active traders don't leave buy orders for 28 days.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold on: November 25, 2017, 04:33:29 PM
Just keep in mind that this is another premined alt which can be dumped any second with the huge amount of premined coins that is holed up in the so called genesis blocks. At one point it will fall off a cliff and probably never regain value when the developers decide to cash out their premined stash. Would stay miles away from a coin like this although it is a forked coin.
510  Economy / Economics / Re: do you know about improper use of bitcoin? on: November 25, 2017, 02:27:15 PM
according to different observation i think few ways are available for abusing bitcoins transections such as Technical weakness , Greedy peoples ro dishonest people , proper management. i would like to describe above mentioned quotatin in briefly
1. technical weakness: we know its a peer to peer transection system throgh confirmed way. within a few second a dishonest  person can get more money by fast  clicking when submit second payment of different recipient.
2. proper management: there is so many lack of proper management of human or account holders. so many hackers want to hack system for getting money because bitcoins holder don't have any insurance like bank account holders. even government don't follow rules and regulation for virtual currency holders.
So what you think about it ?

Pretty confused about your first point, I'm guessing you're referring to a bug being exploited on a third party site or something like double spend which isn't possible in every case.

Regarding your second point, the Bitcoin system is foolproof and can almost be called hack resistant, at least till the 2030 as told by cryptography experts. The only way that any sorts of losses could be incurred due to hacks would be on fragile third party sites offering exchange/wallet services.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russian billionaires invest into crypto on: November 25, 2017, 01:05:23 PM
Being a billionaire in a communist country like Russia, he would definitely be getting first hand information on the government's moves for/against cryptocurrencies. Seeing how he has a multi-million dollar investment portfolio, it is rest assured that Russia will not be taking a negative stance against cryptos and this is fueling more Russian investors to enter the scene.
512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better exchange to trade on: November 25, 2017, 11:33:50 AM
Talking about Bitcoin exchanges, unless dealing with a very high volume, you should be fine with any top tier ones like Poloniex, Bittrex, Kraken, Binance. My personal preference is Kraken since both Polo and Bittrex have been a pain in the arse with their unstable support teams not existing to provide help.

A new trend on the exchange block are decentralised exchanges which need neither registration, nor providing documents to trade. Then again, have to be careful using these are some of them have high fees or are plain scams.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🎮 Bountie- Do You Have Game? 🎮 [PRE-ICO STARTS 11 DEC}🎮 on: November 22, 2017, 06:00:48 AM
I have a question for you, what improvements do you offer from a platform such as SoStronk (based on the SEA region) and other services such FaceIt since these are well known and established faces in the gaming community. Each one of them offer almost everything that you will bring into picture with your project so what can we expect from Bountie?

Hello 13abyknight! Thank you for your interest and it's a great question you raised.

For SoStronk they are based in India which is where they are really excelling in at the moment. For FaceIt, they are in London. As for Bountie, we are based in Singapore and we'll be moving from here on out. There really isn't much love in e-Sports/gaming platform over in this area of the world.

There are many value proposition that Bountie offers that many other platforms don't/can't, I'll just list a few:
1. Peer to Peer competition/wagering.
Right now most of the platforms offer platform points when you play or win tournaments, for Bountie, gamers would be able to wager fiat currency or Bountie Coins for our tournaments/leaderboard. When they win the gamers they get rewarded back with fiat currency or Bountie Coins, not points. This allows gamers to actually make a living while playing their favourite games.

2. Bountie's own game.
We are planning out to launch our own game in the near future. A game built from ground up with the gamers' feedback and participation. Many platforms are just aiming to be aggregators and tournament organizers.

3. Many more games offering.
We are starting out with CS:GO and Dota 2 but we will be quickly moving into many more games like PUBG. Most of the other platforms offer a limited number of games or only a few popular games.

4. Carefully crafted platform.
Most platforms(in general, not just gaming) are built without much thought into the User Interface and User Experience. Our team has been building websites, platforms and mobile apps for our clients for years. We have also researched deeply into other platforms before we finalized on ours. We will be building a platform that gamers will feel excited to use, easy to navigate and be a part of. This level of execution will be a key difference between something like Slack Vs Hipchat.

5. Marketing and Building Community.
A platform is only as good as it's community and user base. We are currently building our gamers community even before we launch our platform. Most of the platform has very limited number of gamers, this results in the same few players always playing against the same people in the same games of the platform. We have allocated a significant percentage of our ICO funds to do marketing heavily and putting in mechanics to reward our gamers to join our platform and community. This will ensure that we'll have more than enough liquidity in our platform for gamers.

There are many more reasons why and how we are differentiating from other platforms, some would be public in the near term and some would be revealed further down our roadmap.

I see lots of potential in your project and I'm just hoping the team behind it delivers. Would love to see you guys reach far and across to bring all the gamers in to a huge platform as the gaming world, which needless to say is on the verge of expansion, can bring out more from gamers.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the Business Model Been used by Bitcoin ? on: November 21, 2017, 04:58:16 PM
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency rather than a business which focuses on a decentralised and foolproof system backed up by a type of technology called blockchain. Every monetary transaction is recorded on the blockchain as it mined into blocks while the miners receive an incentive which is the transaction fee associated with that transfer.

516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked on: November 21, 2017, 11:02:03 AM
Many say that Bitcoin is the safest way to hold value because Bitcoin cannot be hacked. But for many users that is not true.

It depends on how you look at it. Think about this first:

I sell you a door with a lock that genuinely cannot be opened by a thief. I now say that no-one can rob your house.

Of course it is true that no-one can open your door, but it is not true that the house cannot be robbed. The thief can smash the window, pick your pocket when you are on the street, trick his way into your house and so on and so on.

In Bitcoin many believe that because the Bitcoin ledger itself cannot be hacked, their money is safe. That is why they say Bitcoin cannot be hacked.

But it is actually quite easy to steal people's Bitcoin by hacking their wallets, stealing their passwords, hacking into exchanges and so on and so forth. We see it every day.

When you hear "Bitcoin cannot be hacked", many take this to mean that their Bitcoin cannot be stolen.

They are not technically knowledgeable so when they hear the words "cannot be hacked" they believe it menas their money is safe. For them "Bitcoin" is the whole collection of the ledger, the wallet, the exchange, their own computer

Many have their Bitcoin stolen, and therefore for many people they have to stop believeing that Bitcoin cannot be hacked.

For most non-technically knowledable people, the true phrasing is that Bitcoin can be hacked, and is being hacked on a daily basis.

What you're talking about is the chances of third party sites which operate on Bitcoin being hacked and I agree it is highly possible as we've seen many cases in the past (Mt Gox, Inputs.io and the list goes on). With a secure hardware/paper wallet with properly backed up private keys, it is almost impossible to hack into someone's wallet as its not worth the effort and this is exactly why hackers go after wallets and exchanges instead.
If you consider the Bitcoin network, it is explained in the whitepaper itself as to how immune the network is from hacks. The only part where people can lose their coins is on third party sites.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Deposits on: November 21, 2017, 09:44:04 AM
Just use an exchange instead of having a broker in between. This will not only save time by automating the process but also saves you quite some money as the fees is significantly lower compared to brokerages. Some of the commonly used exchanges would be Poloniex, Bittrex, Kraken etc so just get started with one of these and you will figure out most of the buy/sell order mechanism by yourself.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many Ethereum wallets for ICO? on: November 21, 2017, 09:05:07 AM
For faster and easier accessibility, you could always store all your ERC-20 tokens in a wallet line MyEtherWallet. If you have security concerns, you could always rely on storing different tokens on multiple addresses and keeping them backed up offline. Your token balances of new tokens from ICOs can be seen reflecting in MEW upon entering contract address, token symbol and decimal.

Thank you very much for your help.

You could store both your ETH and tokens all in the same single wallet address.

That's great.

1° Then will I see within my unique wallet my balance in ETH, Alt-coin1, Alt-coin2, ..., Alt-coinX?
2° If I want to transfer my Alt-coin2 to another address will it be possible to specify which crypto I want to transfer within those in my unique wallet?

Yes your altcoin balances will reflect on your wallet and yes you will be able to pick the specific altcoin that you will be sending.
519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: November 20, 2017, 05:17:01 PM
Hi all,

The Blockchain is the world's leading trading system. It’s a global online database, no need to download, no need to copy and sending anywhere. It can use at any computer in the world with an internet connection.

The Blockchain trading system can trade any instrument, any market and at any platform. It’s a low drawdown and steady profit trading system.

I have 1 closed trade + $954 and 2 open trades now without any risk but +2.7k (2.7%) floating profit.

I am waiting for adding more trade now if it doesn’t hit SL.

Am I lucky or it’s very easy to trade Bitcoin with the Blockchain system?

It might seem easy to you because everything required to begin is easily available for free. From an online wallet to accounts on exchanges and trading sites, most of these things are free and easily accessible so everyone is as blessed as you are in this case. I'm just assuming you made the right choices with some sleek timing which is rendering you profits being pretty new to the system itself.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10k Bitcoin upcoming!? What are your plans for the Alts? on: November 20, 2017, 01:15:12 PM
10k looks like where Bitcoin is heading at the moment and this will leave the altcoin market in bad shape to recover. Would be only profitable to hold alts that can ramp up and make progress on their respective roadmaps with substantial support, otherwise it is looking very grim for most of the altcoins.
