901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I WANT TO KILL MYSELF Somebody doing fraud in KORECOIN on: August 09, 2017, 12:37:16 PM
Sorry about your loss pal but you should have started with a smaller amount and maybe got some experience on this whole altcoin market scenario of pump and dumps. Either ways investing in altcoins is like playing with fire, you can put up a great show or burn yourself, the former of which comes from sheer experience and in your case, the lack of experience forced out a mistake from you.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin2X - November, whats it gonna be for you? on: August 09, 2017, 12:34:29 PM
The only thing I will be doing here is deriving the most out of this situation. I got some free BCH during the fork because of the BTC I held and I will wait for it to rise to how much ever I think is right and will sell it at that point. Its not about which side one is on, its about the profit, at least for me. Both the guns have a foreseeable future of being bright and leading the altcoin pack.
903  Local / India / Re: Which bitcoin exchanger should i use now? on: August 08, 2017, 10:45:28 AM
If you wish to pay more than the actual price while buying BTC, go ahead and use Zebpay or Unocoin. These sites are just using the tagline of 'exchanges' to lure newer people who are just getting into Bitcoin trading. I wouldn't recommend buying on either of the sites because its ridiculously overpriced.

Coinsecure on the other hand is a legit exchange site you will find and with a KYC, you can get trading in no time and they have a pretty reliable support team too.
904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Demand Millions in Bitcoin for Stolen HBO Files on: August 08, 2017, 10:39:27 AM
Whoever is behind all these hackings is turning the 'biggest' TV show till date into a mere joke by releasing those episodes earlier than their air dates. I mean c'mon, we can wait for them to be aired like we're not asking for the leaked content but these hackers are nutty and are making a fortune out of this situation by threatening HBO. Database breaches happen to almost every other famous site these days so HBO should've kept their stuff together are improved their securities but failed to do so and now will face the consequences of dealing with leaked content and ransoms for the same.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New US law proposal will make all crypto illegal on: August 08, 2017, 10:33:03 AM
Can't see this happening at all with Bitcoin being a major cryptocurrency which is already being used in most of the parts in the United States. With the number of altcoins and ICOs making it to the top of the market caps, its pretty clear that the government wants a grip on all of these and they're just trying to push for it. Hopefully this doesn't happen because it would a very bad move and restricting cryptocurrency usage in an already crypto-treaded world seems like it will just make people go around the loop and still use it.
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 08, 2017, 10:29:13 AM
Arsenal in action in the field. I just realized, too often other club fans patronize Arsenal and always regard Arsenal occupants position 4th. I now know, Arsenal can always be calculated for the league champions.

This kind of trophy is good enough for arsenal to boost their morality so that they could have better performance in the new season. Arsenal is a very great team actually but their past performance was their main reason for their low morality . With this trophy there could be some changes for them perhaps

Arsene Wenger inability to secure a world class striker has always been the problem for Arsenal, He passed on the chance to sign Edison Cavani, two years ago and its forever hunting the team, We all know that Giroud is not a good enough striker for Arsenal and even though Lacazette is an improvement on Giroud, i dont think its going to be of any help with Sanchez sulking the rest of the season. Arsene needs to buy a replacement for Sanchez before the transfer window eventually ends.

Wenger has wished for Sanchez to stay and he will continue playing for Arsenal with the same enthusiasm (he hopes). Alexis has always been a top-notch striker from many seasons now and his hunger for trophies and to be playing in the Champions League is the only thing why he wishes to move out of Wembley. Arsenal have had great success with him and if Giroud actually steps up, they could do great damage with Lacazette already chiming in with his game.
907  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Experience on: August 08, 2017, 10:24:05 AM
Does anyone have negative poloniex experience here? What escalation process actually get's them to answer a ticket? Do we have any poloniex reps here?

Its been 4-5 months since I stopped using Poloniex because their support team never responded to any of my tickets and just left me high and dry. With increasing trade volume on their exchange, they have made a bad decision to still not get their stuff together and make a better support system to answer tickets. This has completely made me move all my funds to Bittrex and I don't wish to recall the horrific support team of Polo ever again.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 07, 2017, 08:48:11 PM
Sold half at 0.4 BTC/BCH (lucky move)

Keeping the other half... simply because I woke up one day and it was at 0.2... and I hoped it would rise back...

You literally made a huge fortune by selling it at 0.4 BTC/BCH and should be happy about your luck. Don't see it going back there ever again after BTC crossed 3k and don't see it reaching above 0.2 since most people are still looking to dump it wherever possible.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: August 07, 2017, 08:59:20 AM
Its been all the old and already existing Bitcoin gambling sites which have started accepting altcoin gambling just because of user demand. There were numerous gambling sites operating from many years and because of the rise of altcoins and their high market caps, non-volatile coins are being accepted as a gambling token on these sites.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did altcoins got so popular? on: August 07, 2017, 08:50:16 AM
I also wanted to know, too. I hope someone would educate us and give us the real answer on your question. I'm guessing that it started to get popular when it was listed on exchanges.

The coin got famous first and then started being listed on exchanges.

When people first couldn't grab hold of BTC, (933,200% ROI back from 2011) they want other short bursts of high returns and are turning towards investing money into altcoins which is making them popular.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: August 07, 2017, 08:46:28 AM
This isn't even a possibility mainly because we should remember that all these so called cryptocurrencies (most of them) are decentralized meaning there is no power of authority within the system. With different types of governments in different countries, it just wouldn't be possible to go up against fiat which is a centralized currency and has been in the circulation ever since the beginning of modern trade.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Movie on: August 07, 2017, 08:43:35 AM
Don't enjoy watching gambling movies personally but if I had to choose from the lot in the poll, Casino Royal would be my pick.

A 007 thriller with the villain being a master class poker player, Bond makes it through and ultimately wins. The sheer scenes at the poker table, the hands, everything seems to be perfected for a nice viewer experience.
913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: August 07, 2017, 08:35:50 AM
Yes people panic in this forum for different reasons. But most of the people panic for Bitcoin price. It is one of the main reason that why people panic. The Bitcoin price has a great impact on the people's mind. The continuos falling of price is the main reason why people became panic.

The price of Bitcoin isn't really a thing to panic about since everything has been cleared out since the BCH fork. Bitcoin has kept rising and when a trader sees a bit of a dip, he should never panic because its BTC in contention here. I don't know where you got the notion of 'continous falling of price' because all I see is green on the graphs for Bitcoin.
914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8th August on: August 06, 2017, 07:12:23 AM
The current rate of growth of BTC seems perfectly ideal and it should continue in its path towards the 4k mark. With BCH not upholding as expected, there is nothing in the way of BTC and you can expect it to skyrocket in the coming days.
915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcion Spike on: August 05, 2017, 10:46:16 AM
Bitcoin Cash users are being quick about dumping their BCH and gaining more BTC and this is giving more value to Bitcoin. Since you're new to cryptocurrencies, you will understand things that are going on by checking on various forum boards.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anybody with $10,000 worth of BTC+Alts today should be a Millionnaire in 2025 on: August 05, 2017, 10:10:11 AM
With BTC, yes I agree you're going to be a millionaire by 2025 undoubtedly but I don't believe in shitcoins making it through with huge market caps with their problem being, new laws that govern altcoins. When there's an outrage is altcoins occupying the market, countries will begin making their own law for cryptos and this will become a huge setback.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH Valuation? on: August 05, 2017, 09:54:57 AM
Anyone have ideas what the BCH/BTC value should be? Currently around .14, but now that Bittrex and soon other exchanges accept coins from wallets I suppose this will dump much lower. Maybe stabilize around .10 eventually? Thoughts?

Give it a couple of weeks and you'll eventually see as it stabilises. I'm calling it reach lows of 0.03-0.05 seeing everyone hasn't used their private keys to claim their free BCH yet and once they do, expect them to instantly dump it on exchanges for as much as they can get.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 05, 2017, 09:23:43 AM
I'm sure Virat will choose to again bat and put up more 200 runs but it's of now use when the other team cannot even get 250 runs in the first innings. Let them follow and try to get 439 runs and then play again if they manage to get those runs (which I doubt they would). No point of delaying the match result till the last day. The MOM is definitely Ashwin as he took 5 wickets in this innings.

Yes, Virat should choose to apply follow on, I too don't think Sri Lankans will be able to make a big score and it's a good chance for India to win by a margin and an innings.

It was an easy decision to make for Kohli to impose the follow on. If the lead was in the range of 200-300 runs, then it is a careful decision for the captain to make. When you have a 439 run lead, impose the follow on and wrap up the match quickly.

Decisions are never that easy to make and being the captain, it puts more pressure on you to make the right call. In this case, Sri Lanka's batting performance has been lack luster and given that the pitch is going to remain the same for the remaining part of the next few days, SL can post a huge total in the follow on innings. Given that what I'm saying actually happens, it's going be really hard to chase anything beyond 200-250 in the 4th innings because we all know how lethal 4th innings chases can be.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a seperate BitcoinCash forum? on: August 05, 2017, 09:14:58 AM
I'm tired of reading BitcoinCash this, BitcoinCash that... BitcoinCash price, BitcoinCash future, transfer BitcoinCash, I lost my BitcoinCash, claim BitcoinCash...

BitcoinCash
BitcoinCash
BitcoinCash
BitcoinCash
BitcoinCash
BitcoinCash
BitcoinCash
BitcoinCash
BitcoinCash

ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's utter stupidity on one's part to ask for a separate forum for Bitcoin Cash that too in here. Treat it like any other altcoin and eventually when everything settles, you won't see too much of spam and this spam is currently being caused due to the questions in everyone's mind given that we're still in the opening week of the release of BCH.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Enigma Catalyst - Build Your Own Crypto Hedge Fund - Token Sale Aug 21 on: August 05, 2017, 06:53:02 AM

Great reads which will surely enlighten investors that this token sale is definitely worth the money they are putting in and coming from a team of MIT grads, this project is going to be huge one considering all goes well.
