3301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: November 20, 2016, 04:33:15 PM
I think bitcoin was created so that we can have an alternative and better kind of currency. You can avoid getting taxed when you're using bitcoin. It's fast and reliable too. You can easily send money abroad with just a few clicks. Bitcoin is decentralized and that just means that a part of bitcoin is meant to do the opposite of what the government does. Today, bitcoin is an investment for most and an opportunity to earn money online.
The basic aim for creating bitcoins was that people can have a currency which they own, they control yet they cannot hack it or scam with it. The idea of decentralization has made most of the users adopt bitcoins.
I personally think right now in market there is no currency that is transparent (we can check balance ) yet secure as hell.
3302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: November 20, 2016, 01:40:48 PM
For me, Betting in sports is actually a gambling because there is a money involve and when you actually win the game then you will get profit from it right? and then if you lose from betting, you will actually lose money, so that is gambling.  Smiley
That's right but it's a very exciting way of gambling, some gamblers treat this as part of entertainment and they won't bother looking back on their loses as long as they were able to bet and enjoy the game. Sports enthusiast have all the chance to gamble using their skills and they might benefit from it in sports betting.
Yes, sports betting must be a peculiar type of gambling and it is specially invented for sports loving people.
I believe through sports betting we can enjoy the sport as well as we will get chances to make use of our interest on sports to earn some profits.

Even it is highly based on sports and its knowledge, I too still believe it is also one of gambling type.
3303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: November 20, 2016, 01:27:19 PM
to test your luck you have to bet high amount, you can do with small amount too.
Noone will do to put higher bet amount continuously to be come rich.
It is a bad way to reach your ambition to become rich .
In my opinion with higher bet amounts, instead of getting rich from gambling, a gambler will become poor in quick time itself.

It is proven that gambling will not support anyone to become rich. At the same time we can assume, your bet amount will decide how quick you will become poor. If you bet in higher amounts, it might mean that you are rushing towards your poverty.
3304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: November 20, 2016, 01:20:35 PM
In my religion it's not a sin and it does not directly mention it or refer gambling for money. I think it would be a sin for some religion depending on what they belief. Gambling will totally be banned all over the world if this will be considered as a sin.
Agreed, the reason why they called gambling is a sin is because those who people who lose and they will say it that gambling is a sin even the problem is those who people who lose, for me it's not a sin since gambling done nothing wrong, the wrong is if you lose so much then blame to the gambling.
I think this is not the reason why gambling is sin and i think that is why gambling is it is because of their religion.
If you are religious person you should not to gamble and treat it as your sin..
I agree, at least for religious reason, a gambler will think to have strong will to quit gambling.

I have seen many people who are not caring about their wealth and health but they are very much conscious about their religions. This kind of people definitely will stop gambling for religious reasons. I believe treating gambling as a sin must be a right approach.
3305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: November 20, 2016, 01:14:15 PM
if I were you, just stop gambling
But how ? That is the very big question for every gambler but you are simply saying you will stop. It is easy to say but really really hard to practically face that situation.

all of the money that you will gonna use in gambling will save when you stop gambling.
Yes, stopping gambling must be the right solution for not wasting money, even an addicted gambler knows this fact, still he is going for gambling and wasting his money and also searching for how to stop gambling. That is the humulating fact here and hence we are all still discussing how to stop gambling.
3306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 20, 2016, 12:39:01 PM
Gambling is addictive because everyone thinks that it is easy and free money witha small risky. However, it is not zhe case here. Gambling has big risks, and you can not win if you gamble even after you win. You will end up throwing away all your money because you will think that it is possible to win again- but it is not very common to win in streaks.
We all know there are risks, the actual mindset of a gambler is that he can win no matter if the odds are against him, a gambler once has lost suppose 10 bets and then when he makes 11th bet he think he has like 99% chance of winning it while he has just same 50% chance, that is the real problem.
3307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many bets do you we need to do in sports betting a day? on: November 20, 2016, 05:42:58 AM
Well for me when it comes to sports betting I normally just bet 2 to 4 games per day only if I like what I see or have a high chance at winning. If there is nothing I like I don't bet at all as most times this is when people loose their money.
Yeah me too and as OP asked " need " basically I don't think there is any need for gambling or amount of bets per day. Yeah preferences can be there like someone bets more and someone bets less. I think you will have equal chances whatever you play lower number of bets or higher just make sure you have a amount specified which you can afford to loose.
3308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 19, 2016, 08:08:33 PM
It's more losses, trust me, been there done that. Gambling will just make your bitcoin like *poop* and it's gone before you know it. You might want to hold it rather than to use it on gambling which doesn't worth it. Why not do something else like Investing and Trading your bitcoin, it's way more better than Gambling I'm sure.
Instead of gambling to make money one should gamble for fun. If one just wants to make money trading or investing is the best bet like you said. Smiley
But unfortunately why many people are choosing gambling over trading or investing means they just want to earn some big amount of money but that too in an entertainment way.

They are believing gambling is an industry that will entertain them as well as that will make them billionaire in fraction of seconds. As long as people are believing like this, the gambling will remain wrong always.
3309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nobody is talking about the reason for this rise! on: November 19, 2016, 07:11:42 PM
There is no such talk because the price of bitcoins increase in this time of the year, you can see the graphs for last year Wink .. the price will keep of increasing slowly until it reaches 900$ or 1000$+ and then slowly starts getting low, so easy to make some profit but only in hindsight.
3310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting money in lottery is gambling too? on: November 19, 2016, 06:13:28 PM
if i had to choose the top worst ways of spending money then buying a lottery ticket would have been in the top three for sure.

and i actually have the experience with buying lottery tickets and wasting my money on them, and as you have guessed i never have won anything in my life in any kind of lottery game ever. it is always either my bad luck or the fakeness of the lottery system!

I myself are really doubtful about this type of game. Even if that certain government supports that lottery company i still doubt its fairness. But people use to just take chances instead of saving those and consider as an investment that would surely grow someday.
Lottery games are just a waste and I get free tickets by some websites for just participating in events. It's like if I win, it's good and even if I don't win, it's good.

I don't like that people spend so much money on these games and some websites aren't even trusted enough to choose a fair winner. It's never an investment as the game gets over, the ticket is useless.
3311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most profitable type of gambling? on: November 19, 2016, 03:38:48 PM
I think any gambling type is profitable. It all depends on how much money you bet and what are the odds. No matter which type of gambling that is, luck will still be the one that decide if you're going to have profits or not. Without luck, you'll always end up not having profits in any gambling type and just waste your time and money. But I guess becoming the house itself would be the most profitable way to gamble since you can design it in a manner that you will be the winner in the long run even some people hit the jackpot on your gambling site.
You are depending upon luck for making your gambling profitable than no gambling type will be profitable all the time for any gambler.

Profitability of a gambling should not be measured based on single day performance. It must be considered based on how consistently we are able to make profits with the particular type of gambling.

I guess there is no such a type of gambling is existing even with my sports betting I'm not consistent.
3312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 19, 2016, 03:29:04 PM
What OP s been reporting are a specifically crazy 3 months. I ve been invested into these casinos for over about a month and I get nothing even CLOSE to what they report.
Yes, I am also had similar results with my investments when I analyzed what were the reasons behind for my low returns from gambling sites, they are claiming when a gambler wins the gambling houses faces losses so again I am into a gambler's situation.

When I am a gambler I do see gambling house keeps on winning and when I join gambling house, gamblers do win, what the pathetic situation for a gambler cum investor  Shocked
3313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: November 19, 2016, 04:52:26 AM
possibly investment is better and safer than gambling because you never know when things might go wrong when gambling you could get extremely lucky and get rich fast or you can bet on something everyone knows it for sure and practically only win a few satoshis but on the other hand investment is predictable and there is an explanation to every thing
Well, actually both are waste of time and inferior to trading. Maybe because I have better skills than you and maybe because I am more lucky than you all, I am not saying you should trade but for once buy bitcoins cheap, sell at higher price and see the satisfaction you get.

Between gambling and investing still invest is better option unless you need quick money.
3314  Economy / Economics / Re: Places to look for economical news and trends? on: November 15, 2016, 06:48:30 AM
CNBC, Telegraph and BBC are good because they're easy to use and brief. Some sites like bloomberg are lag heavy and sometimes information heavy. FT is also very good but expensive.
But these are for stock and forex trading and also for commodities like gold and silver trading. For bitcoin and altcoin trading we must need to follow crypto currency based news and magazines for quick update.

For altcoin trading, we just need to follow this forum for any perfect decisions because no one will be able to get chances to cover up latest news other than bitcointalk on altcoins.
3315  Economy / Economics / Re: The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin on: November 15, 2016, 06:38:30 AM
if this happen economy will destroy with a great imbalance comes with a great impact regarding in our lives. our cost of living will raise to so I'm satisfied in bitcoin prize right now. It's balance and good for investors to get some income. bitcoin currency is not stable as we thought but it's okay that's life . life is a cycle where we live and die lol. Cheesy
I do not think so. Because when bitcoin price keep on moving to higher price levels people will sell of their bitcoins from time to time with the respect to their profit levels. So, all the 1 million profits will not go to a single person (except few long-term holders).
So, it is highly unlikely to create imbalances.

It's balance and good for investors to get some income. bitcoin currency is not stable as we thought but it's okay that's life.
At every price levels, investors will be finding similar to you only when bitcoin prices keep on increasing. So, it will be inevitable to have higher prices. An higher prices may be $1 million dollars per bitcoin also.

life is a cycle where we live and die lol. Cheesy
But, bitcoin is to stay permanent here. Only higher prices will support its survival.
3316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin prices rise in 2016? I think this is the cause. on: November 15, 2016, 06:25:46 AM
If the US presidential election contributed to the current price of bitcoin - which I doubt - once Trump assumes office early next year, btc price can only be expected to go higher than $700  - unlike previous trends where the price usually falls at the beginning of the year.
Yes possible! I am also expecting under new government that US investors will prefer to invest more into alternative investments than their usual investment vehicles like stocks and currencies. So, gold and bitcoin may find new highs in 2017.

Many financial experts predict weaker US dollars in coming days which must one the big supporting news for bitcoin price appreciations.
3317  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 15-11-16 @ 4882 CNY we will see 3xxx cny before 2017! on: November 15, 2016, 06:09:10 AM
No, I do not think so. Bitcoin prices successfully survived the news of China's policy on bitcoin mining farms and any possible regulations. It just showed fluctuations up to $685 levels but quickly bounced back to $710. This must be the indication for the marching toward $1000 price levels, which will be likely possible within the first quarter of 2017 itself.
3318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: November 15, 2016, 06:04:30 AM
Mostly for fun, I can't risk BTC if I am not ready to lose it. I usually deposit with the thought of losing it and if I do win it back, then I would just treat it as a complimentary prize.
Unexpected profits from gambling is always more surprising and more fun filled. I do see your type of gambling activity as a professional way of gambling like after experiencing the real face of gambling you must have chosen to gamble only for fun and accepting any outcome of it. I'm still going for gambling for profits and most of the times do get only disappointments.
3319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: November 15, 2016, 05:57:13 AM
In reality I can't even analyze roulette and other gambling games. I am specific to be more in analyzing to sports betting.
Yes only very few gambling types are feasible to have strategies and analysis within them. Sports betting is always known for skill based so it is possible to have analysis for it.

I can't just even bet to a team just because it is my favorite team.
If you go betting with your favorite team, it will mean that you are failing to control your emotions. You need to stick as per your analysis, if you give room to your emotions to play, then you might need to break your analysis and its predictions calls.
3320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: November 15, 2016, 05:50:33 AM
Making a big profit in investing is not easy if you have big investment also you need to wait for much time to make a profit, Sometimes in the middle the sites will go down so that time you may get some loss. So in Investing also there is a risk But compare to Gambling this is a good method if you invested in reputed sites means you will get a decent profit.
But investing is not a gambling activity and it will not still guarantee to make gambling a profitable activity.

But sometimes many people do mean investing into our gambling bankroll so that they will have big gambling bankroll, with that they think they will be in safe hands to make profits from gambling.

But practically, we must need bigger bankroll than gambling house to beat them so that our gambling may become profitable activity.
