3681  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is the Founder of Bitcoin?! on: June 16, 2016, 07:36:25 PM
i have hear about a person who is from japan. his name is SATOSHI NAKAMOTO. he develop the bitcoin and now it is going to be become a global currency.
That fact is that we all know that it is SATOSHI NAKAMOTO invented Bitcoins, and there's nothing more to it. Satoshi can either be an individual, a group of people, a company, a dog, an AI, or an alien.
Nobody really knows the truth about it.
3682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 16, 2016, 07:29:57 PM
They are simply scared to invest because they are thinking its a investment with a big risks and other people are even thinking that its only used by criminals.

Yeah i also think about that "they only used by criminals". People around me thinks the same because they think that bitcoin is designed to use in deep web to use for illegal activities but they're wrong Grin.
They are partially true actually, some people indeed using it for illegal activities. And media has made it become worse by telling only the bad effect of bitcoin.

Even media will keep on showing news about the bad side of bitcoin, I see it's not a big deal after all.

If people really want to know more about bitcoin, they will take time to learn what bitcoin really is. And every bad news is just a shit to them because they are the one who will found out if bitcoin is bad or not.

Media has never shown their support towards bitcoin and that is the reason many people hesitate in investing into bitcoin as they have more faith in news and media.
Except Japan though. From what I heard, Japan's media has quite a good support towards bitcoin and I do think China does the same. It is usually the western countries that has never really shown much support on bitcoins.
3683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is bitcoin on: June 16, 2016, 07:21:49 PM
Would be nice if you could do a little google yourself but I guess asking around in a bitcoin forum would give you quite a direct and easy-to-understand answer.
So, my answer to you question is that Bitcoin can be simply understood as an investment by buying and holding on to it, and a currency used for buying/selling goods and services.
3684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 15, 2016, 05:49:57 PM
I 100% support your decision. Like any other type of addiction, it should be overcome. To avoid the temptation to get back to gambling, you should always be busy with something.
So, yeah, you definately should get yourself a good new hobby. Some psychologists suggest to try extreme sports, for example... but this kind of activity is definitely not for everyone.

Anyway, good luck to you! Wink

Agreed. Its great to set yourself a goal. Once you complete that goal, you'll feel uplifted and great overall! Good luck on giving up gambling! We all have your back!
Extreme sports is really a good source to stay busy and to stay away from bad habits but sometimes when people start to involve in sports they start to bet on sports and once again involve in gambling and again start losing their money.
3685  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: June 15, 2016, 03:41:50 PM
I'm just trying to scrape together a small amount of bitcoin right now. I have a regular job, so this is just on the side as an investment. With some trading, I hope to make a few bitcoins to hold for later.
I have made a living with bitcoins for sadly just for 3 months, actually I left my house and was studying outside my city. Then I thought the money my parents gave me is quite less, hence I started with bitcoins and earned awesomely high. But sadly after 3 months I was back home Sad
3686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 0 confirmations after several days - BTC gone? on: June 15, 2016, 03:23:44 PM
Hello all
I have sent funds to a BTC address however the transaction is still showing Status: 0/unconfirmed after several days.
I have successfully sent funds to the same address in the past so I dont understand what could be the problem, however the beneficiary is not crediting me for the money received and the money is gone from my account, what can I do?

Can you show us the transaction id?
If the fee was insufficient you'll either have to wait it out, or attemt to create a RBF/double spend.

Sure no problem the ID isb95b4e2c38bed1cdfc6fb21291a457281ab8d58badb956f5aa8f6403410adeef

I already checked and it is not showing in blockchain, so what can I do?
Ihave no idea what is a RBF/double spend?
Well, blockchain often not shows it but even blockr.io is not showing it ... strange. Please pay proper or more fees due to the busy chain now a days I am also doing the same. Its sad to see you lost btc but I think you will get back once rejected by the bitcoin network.
3687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: June 15, 2016, 02:57:24 PM
hello, I would like to try my luck from gambling.

what kind of gambling that you think is easy to make a profit? and what strategies are you using?
Do not waste your time and money in gambling, as gambling is not for earning your living and to support your family, nor it will make you rich, if you want to try your luck then try it in some other place, I hope you will be successful at there and will get a good amount of money.
3688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Exciting Bitcoin Projects! on: June 14, 2016, 08:16:25 PM
the most exciting part of bitcoin is investing and earning  money without doing that much . but the most awaiting event of bitcoin is when the halving comes, its the most awaited time of  the most bitcoin users. So I guess we better get ready for it.
And how is this exactly an exciting bitcoin project? Although I get what you are trying to say and everyone does too, apparently. Holding on to bitcoins definitely seems like an easy profit for us. But of course, the risks are there too like when bitcoin value drops dramatically.
3689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you like to buy with Bitcoin that you can not? on: June 14, 2016, 08:08:33 PM
Is there something you'd really like to be able to buy with Bitcoin, but you just can't, yet?
Drugs. Just kidding.
It's usually the luxuries that I'm not able to afford or force myself to buy with cash because I'm just too afraid of holding too much cash with me. Although I know I can hold my cash in banks, I still can't get my anxiety away from me. Having bitcoins was a big help.
3690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: June 14, 2016, 07:54:06 PM
Xapo and coins.ph because less hassle and easy to use
I believe coins.ph is a local wallet? I suggest you don't store most of your coins on either of them because there's a chance of them going down and your coins would be lost if that ever happens. My advice is you download Electrum and store your coins there. Trust me, it's definitely worth it to have Electrum wallet. "Less hassle and easy to use".
3691  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 14, 2016, 07:39:34 PM
Hold is the nr1 thing I would do because of the nice future the bitcoin has and its also rising now very fast!

Its rising at a moment but we cannot be so sure that it will keep on rising in future too, as it may drop to extreme level in future, so study the market and act accordingly.
What I think is it will drop after halving event as many people use to hype the coins price just to profit with the upcoming they will surely sell once event is done.

People will sell their coins when price will go high at the time of halving and that will result in  price drop after the halving, so if you have 10 btc then you should sell at the time of halving.
But how sure are we that the price would definitely drop after the halving? I mean, it's going steady so far because nearly everyone's hoarding bitcoins. I'm really curious if the buy support would be able to hold with all the incoming dumps.
3692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: June 13, 2016, 06:50:26 PM
of course bitcoin is the future of online gambling, it has way more better advantages than fiat does in online gambling

first of all it is very easy to use and all the transactions are really fast, also in order to withdraw you dont have to prove your identity or do something like that
Unlike any other payment processor that transaction fees for bitcoin ecosystem is always very less.
When we are in need of making frequent transactions to gambling bankroll, the bitcoin be the right choice to avoid big amount of money losing just in transaction fees.
3693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 13, 2016, 06:44:12 PM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

Gambling... it sucks. Like drugs you should not try it.
Yeah it is like a drug if you get addicted to it but I would not say that it is wrong. There are enough people that are not addicted to gambling and now when it is enough and to stop playing.
How it can not be wrong when you yourself have found some addicted gamblers. I believe from the experience of other gamblers, leaving of gambling is not that much simple as addiction is the big problem of gambling. That is the reason we make a conclusion to consider gambling as wrong.
Yes, leaving gambling after got addiction, must be a very tough and struggling task.
I guess no one could be successful in the process of quitting gambling after addiction. He has to struggle as much as equal to making money from gambling.
3694  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: June 13, 2016, 06:09:35 PM
Exactly what the title says.

If bitcoin dropped to the price of a dollar (which we hope it never will), what would you do? Buy more and hold, sell? Buy a promising altcoin like ETH?

I personally would buy more bitcoin.

If bitcoin dropped to 1$, I will not stop with it. That is life, sometimes it falls, sometimes it rise, maybe if bitcoin dropped to 1$, it is time to fall, but there is also a time for rising. In Bitcoin History, there are so many up and downs of the value of the btc. So it's not impossible to bitcoin to rise and fall. Just earn and earn. Smiley
The fact that autocorrect will fix it (assuming that it was a sudden drop to $1), then I would definitely try to get my hands on as much bitcoin as possible. That is if I am awake and aware when that happens.
3695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: June 13, 2016, 06:01:11 PM
The bitcoin is not dead yet. The recent price rise will attract many users and increase the price again.
The last post for this was nearly 2 weeks ago and the price was stabilizing at $530 back then that's why they were agreeing that bitcoin movement is dead, temporarily. But then of course, bitcoin isn't dead and will probably never be, or at least we're not here anymore when that happens.
3696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do to get bitcoins? on: June 12, 2016, 09:18:18 AM

3697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling day! on: June 12, 2016, 08:29:21 AM
6.6 -> 7, etc. old thread.

I decided to gamble 7, made it to 9 and cashed out.
Deposited 9 again and did martingale. Went to 2 BTC.
OH SHIT, I thought. Did one more bet, 11 BTC! A bit more and now I'm sitting at 9K AUD

Thank you betking
Nice day from you OP, Just like that courage sometimes could be a lucky charm from those who are gambling.
Luckily you did not lose at matingale just like I thought martingale was effective style of playing for those gamblers who just have a self-control.
3698  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: June 12, 2016, 08:22:58 AM
Do you think that Bitcointalk is a good way to get knowledge and information about Bitcoins?? because Bitcointalk is very useful for me to get information about Bitcoin.

Yes! Same goes to me, im get more knowlegde about bitcoin after read many threads in here. I think bitcointalk is the best place for someone who even newbie in the btc world to know more far about bitcoin, about the value, history, and anything else.
I admit in help of this forum you can learn anything about BTC that you never have to visit any other site IMHO.
The best thing about here is the services like campaign and such you can generate a few BTC from there I've never heard a forum like the one before.
3699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to cash out? on: June 12, 2016, 08:15:52 AM
best way to cash out bitcoins is a wallet that directly convert your coins a real money currency and transfer it to your bank
I don't think it would just allowed that and bank will not keep records of that, I know that mixing your coins to other coins will leave any transaction from that coins before.
Because it will randomly generate different coins, and will not trace your used coins before. I just still do not know if that is effective.
3700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we still say that BTC transactions are faster? on: June 12, 2016, 08:03:54 AM
of course bitcoins transactions are the fastest you just have to include the correct amount of fees
Yes I too think it is fast in terms of sending payments, I have not encountered any difficulties ever since I use BTC as a means of payments. It might happen some times before when there was a stress test on bitcoin network.

Just put a little of 0.0001 btc as fees and it will not find any hassle in making faster bitcoin transactions within next 10 minutes.
