3661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you want to become Rich you need to Put Higher bets on: June 20, 2016, 07:21:04 PM
Mate betting higher won't make you automatically richer overnight because your wins will depend massively on your luck and luck is not a constant element. I have read about a lot of professional gamblers who have hit very bad losing streaks and if not for their sponsorships for promoting different companies they would have been long broke. This has happened especially with pro poker players who play huge amounts of hands every day and where the variation is the highest. Betting more money on more confident picks is kinda reasonable but betting high on every single bet just to try your luck is a suicide mission.
Can not agree more. I think betting high stakes on confident sports / bets is a nice idea but just blindly increasing minimum bet ( like for example you do 0.001 btc base bet and 0.1 btc bankroll with martingale ) then u will survive max 1 hour Sad
3662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 20, 2016, 07:10:07 PM
never gamble to recover a loss! because gambling is not good for earn money (and if you have a first loss something doesn't work!).
then if you had a bad loss you are not "in a good mind state" and you try to risk more and place only bet with high odds (high stakes).
Yes and I have been a live example for this, I whenever loose I just increase my bets and this digs a even bigger hole. I think giving up gambling is not easy for the same reason that we cannot quit once we loose and cant resist to play again when winning.
3663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: June 20, 2016, 06:58:39 PM
There is nothing fix how much one can win or loose while gambling in any game. You can win lot of money but keep in mind you need to be lucky every time to win.Just few times of unlucky hands can let you without money.Actually there is no such limit of winning in gambling as long as you are lucky your bankroll will keep increasing.
Yes, and as long as your bankroll keeps increasing you can sustain more and more losses in a row due to the high bankroll, so yes it totally depends on luck. But I think we can earn unlimited with gambling given we have some luck with us.
3664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 20, 2016, 06:50:25 PM
A very easy one for Indians . I wanted them to bat first , to see how Zimbabwe would chase the target . Unfortunately , from the start of the series till now , Zimbabwe has played first in all the matches . A good chance for the openers to finish the job and get some runs for themselves and they did the same thing . Mandeep 52 * and Rahul 47* , I was expecting both to score half century actually  .
Well, Zimbabwe gave a tough fight in the first t20 and we can not underestimate them at all. Yes today they did not played well, in fact not even 50% of what their potential is, but I hope they come back in form in next match.
3665  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: June 20, 2016, 06:29:42 PM
I think save it, for me that is the best way to earn money because this is crypto world and in this world it is full of surprises. We just need to have a lot of patience when keeping and who knows the price will skyrocket in the future.
Right when the bitcoin price was like 300 people started to loose their temper and said its the end of bitcoins.
But hey guys, its the rise of bitcoins. If it has gone downs surely will come up with a boom sooner or later.
3666  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new in Bitcoin, how to provide services? on: June 19, 2016, 08:02:33 PM
I don't think there's any use to send another user less than $0.01 and no wallet/payment processor that allows less than 1 cent but still Xapo has a limit of 55 satoshis and I don't think if you send such a small transaction, it would be confirmed soon. Miners don't even earn profit from such transactions.
3667  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: June 19, 2016, 07:50:58 PM
I am not spending my coins on a daily basis. But at least 2/3 times a month I buy things online.
Sometimes on bitcointalk and sometimes online in the shops that accept bitcoin. So i do spend, but not active.

We all love to spend our coins for buying online stuff but I think we should stop spending now as halving is very near and it will show us some best price of bitcoin.
Already near to 800$ is bitcoins price right now and I expect to get it over 1000$ for sure and hence I am not spending them for now, I am thinking of saving them for at least 1 month and then see how it goes. Yes I do gamble a few bitcoins though but very few.
3668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: See the balance on this bitcoin address (must see) on: June 19, 2016, 07:43:51 PM
No surprise here. I have a friend who had millions of bitcoins in his wallet because he bought so much back then.
He told me he was using it for doing transactions in the dark market. He used to be a black hat before but now he's a white hat and he's had quite a lot of profits from those bitcoins. QUITE A LOT.

I saw a picture of his mining setup and I count 25miners more or less, and a lot of ice blocks.
3669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: June 19, 2016, 07:37:03 PM
The title is a little misleading, apparently. I know op must not have English as his first language so I wouldn't mind.

As for me, bitcoins are actually important because nearly 50% of my current savings are actually bitcoins.
3670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do Exchanges get BitCoins ? on: June 18, 2016, 07:32:44 PM
Bitcoin users get Bitcoins by exchanging them for fiat at exchanges but where do the exchanges get bitcoins from ?

This question came to my mind after frequent cases of YoBit's Signature Campign wallet getting dry !
Basically, exchangers get their coins from either miners, traders, contacts, etc. They can just ring up people and buy from them whenever they run low on bitcoin inventory. They have some sort of a wallet/s to check whether their bitcoins needs restocking or immediate selling.
3671  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: June 18, 2016, 07:23:20 PM
Direct opposite of https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1438622.0

If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do?

I personally would sell maybe 0.00001 BTC (about $10 if I'm not mistaken).
The fact that there's nearly no way of this happening, there's really no point in thinking of what to do when this happen.

However, if I'm still alive when this actually happens, well I'll be damn rich like super rich when I sell all my coins and live happily ever after. It's up for my sons and grandsons, daughters and grandaughters to continue the legacy and work it off with bitcoins.
3672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: question on bitcoins on: June 18, 2016, 07:10:15 PM
I'm just a little too lazy to explain all the details since I see that you've almost known of the basics but here's a link to a full guide on starting off with bitcoins.

A video guide if that's not too clear for you.

3673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when we have mined all the BTC on: June 18, 2016, 06:54:02 PM
global warming will catch up to bitcoin mining until then.

That fact that there will never be a time where all the blocks are mined, which makes your statement kind of true. It would take an indefinite amount of time to be able to mine all which means global warming has an indefinite amount of time to catch up to bitcoin mining.
3674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did you hear about Bitcoin the first time and got your first bits? on: June 18, 2016, 05:22:02 PM
First heard of it when it was around $7/Btc... First bought in not so long ago, at $300.
You bought bitcoins when it was priced at $300? That's not too long ago? I don't believe so. That's like over a year ago. That I believe is already long ago, since the price of bitcoin has more than doubled since you bought your first bitcoin. That must have been quite a profit, eh?
3675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So this happened at my university on graduation day (Toronto) on: June 17, 2016, 05:38:12 PM
No doubt I would have done this as well, except I do not have a Domo suit, and not graduating just yet.
It is funny, but it was probably the best way to attract attention which I believe he was successful.
3676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: June 17, 2016, 05:23:37 PM
I saw it in an ad way back in 2013. I believe it was a coinad advertisement on youtube or something.
I don't exactly remember it very much but I did click it out of curiosity and I was not very much attracted and I completely regret that. I was only able to realize the true value of bitcoin this late 2015. I am still happy though that I wasn't too late in the race.
3677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank experience makes me love Bitcoin more on: June 17, 2016, 05:14:59 PM
is there any relation between bank and bitcoin. i dont think that there will be any relation between them. because bitcoin need no band and bank is not accepting bitcoin.
Apparently, many banks are considering to adopt bitcoins. I don't exactly know if it's a bitcoin-bank relation but bitcoin offers transparency because all transactions are recorded and can be viewed by anyone wherein banks don't actually offer than. Rather, they refuse to.
3678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did Bitcoin Spread ? on: June 17, 2016, 05:07:47 PM
I know that Satoshi created the first cryptocurrency - Bitcoin. But how did the world came to know about it ? How did miners came to know about it and how the common people started to use it ? There was no such term as cryptocurrency at that time.
the currency probably started floating around on the internet, and it was the first ever cryptocurrency so people started buying into it because it seemed like a good idea. kind of like the kickstarters that happen these days.
Bitcoin was definitely not the first cryptocurrency as there was I don't exactly remember the name but I think it was digi-cash or something. Bitcoin is however the first successful cryptocurrency. It first spread as the currency used on the dark market then it made its way through the public market when people started selling actual, legal goods for bitcoins.
3679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: creating a bitcoin site on: June 17, 2016, 04:55:34 PM
not that I'm going to scam anyone but I'm creating an adult tube site too. hope to hide myself.
thanks for all the replies.

No need to actually use a fake name, you can use namesilo => use your real name, enable privacy protection (for free) and pay with bitcoins. That way it's legally OK, but the whois info will not show your name Wink
Good luck, adult tubes are a saturated market, but that doesn't mean you cannot learn a thing or two by running them.
did you know that whois guard can actually bypassed through registrar's customer service and just ask the data to them, some of registrar will not allow you but most of them will allow you, using fake data is the best way
Using fake data is the best way? Of course not. However, there's  problem about legality. I believe such adult sites require special permits to be operated, like permits that approve of the models shown, the rights to the videos and stuff, or is it just a domestic rule?
3680  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: June 16, 2016, 07:42:58 PM
Shaping up as big year

Cheesy
I have heard the same thing with 2016 when it still was 2015 so I am not going to believe these thing anymore. i am just going to wait for the year it self and see for my self what is going on. These predictions are never 100% correct so there is no need to rely on them.

Are you kidding me? Did you check the price? We are recovering from a brutal crash, Bitcoin is literally back and it's stronger than ever before, before 2017 we will be at a new ATH and the technology on the coin is way better, things are looking bright ad solid for the future, 2017 will be the best year ever for Bitcoin thus far.

Exactly, price is growing now and we can expect same from the next year too, we are at the best stage now and we will see much higher price in future.
I'm not really sure that 2017 will be the best year for bitcoin though. I mean, 2016 is a really good year for bitcoin and I don't see just yet 2017 beating the rise in value and the increase in users (although there isn't really an exact count on how many users are new to bitcoin).
