Porn fits with bitcoin privacy, seen multiple porn sites starting to accept bitcoin and see it as a new option to use bitcoin

Yes, people always prefer privacy with porn. Bitcoin must be a perfect solution for spending into porn contents. Bitcoin is quick for a viewer, non-reversible is the benefit for porn site owners.
3902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: February 02, 2016, 08:31:24 PM
Staying within bitcoin ecosystem will ensure the bright future of us. Even some people got into bitcoin and sold their coins when bitcoin hit $100/$200 or even $500. They might be regretting when bitcoin hit $1000. I never want to join with them.
3903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 02, 2016, 08:27:12 PM
Its in our human nature, to gamble and to risk.

Yes human gets easily attracted to easy money making ideas. Sticking with gambling even not making any profits resulting in addictions. People start gambling to make profits and ending up in addictions.
3904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: February 02, 2016, 08:19:52 PM
For me, sports betting has long been a hobby. It is often considered as an unalterable result unlike online horse betting where results easily can be altered. It is also more or less predictable because it consists of many factors. As for me, I favor betting on sports.
3905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: February 02, 2016, 08:15:32 PM
Gambling can have advantages as well as disadvantages and that depends on how much you invest in it and if you play just in the demo mode, it will be much more beneficial. Experienced players can earn much more by predicting and following the tips of other players and if you learn the basics, you can gain more from the games.
Those users who have their strategy which they use in gambling websites can profit a lot from the games. Usually there are some gamblers who are very good at numbers and hence they can predict what the next number is going to be and for them only gambling has an advantage. Else there is no other advantage as the game becomes an addiction.
3906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: February 02, 2016, 08:09:48 PM
For me it's only bitcoins as my currency is not dollars and I need to convert them into cash. Currently, it is less than 10% of the transactions that take place in bitcoins. It's not even 1 as the users who use bitcoins are less than a lac. If bitcoins become a national currency, it can definitely be used more often in the near future.
3907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Laundering "Not Possible" with Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2016, 08:00:58 PM
I agree to some extent with the article as some of the bitcoin wallets do hold a license and websites like Virwox accept Bitcoin transactions. It was not the case with LR and bitcoins are much more recognized as a currency while LR was just a wallet.
3908  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2016, 07:52:49 PM
When I was new to bitcoins, I joined a gambling website and then thought of investing in it as it was trusted and I was getting a bonus on my first deposit. I did the same and played dice on the default choice of 32% odds which was my biggest mistake and hence I lost my first deposit of 0.25 BTC in a second.
3909  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 02, 2016, 07:28:07 PM
Save BTC money is better than investing IMO, Investing bitcoins is a very difficult field and allot of the investment completely fail rather than actually making profit, I think saving BTC for a price increase is much better.
I agree here. But I feel that investing can atleast make us earn profit today as the coins would just be lying idle in our wallet. I know some good and trustworthy websites that accept bitcoins but they pay very less interest. Mining bitcoins would be the best form of investment IMO.
3910  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 02, 2016, 07:15:21 PM
Depending on the price of BTC in 20 years and depending on your location in the world, If BTC is worth $1000 Then I think a decent amount for a first-world resident would be 1000 BTC, it won't be enough to buy a yacht but would allow reasonable living conditions "if USD hasn't deflated in value that much"
I don't think bitcoins would last long and hence I won't be saving over 10 bTC as of now. If BTC does last for the next 20 years, $1000 would be too less per BTC as by then the prices would be higher and $1000 by then would be worth $100 today. It should be a 5 digit figure at least.
3911  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: February 02, 2016, 06:13:34 PM
Of course I believe in the bitcoin, it has a good future.
I think it everyone has to believe in the bitcoin.
The bitcoin will rise to a high amount in a few months.

There are many reasons for me too to believe in bitcoin, like anonymous and low transaction fees.
It is obvious thing that I am also believing in bitcoin it would be a surprise that if not believing in bitcoin still.
3912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: February 02, 2016, 06:01:18 PM
i consider advantages from gambling only if i won but the problem is sometimes very difficult to won from gambling and in the end is the gambling house who are taking advantage from us

Winning is just the result, and probably not really an advantage, it is the excitement when we are winning, that makes us feel that gambling is more on winning and that house is not really taking advantage of us and losing is the reverse..  Smiley
And the house making gamblers gamble more by giving them a chance to win, making gamblers thinks he can in a lot from gambling, which is not Sad
Manipulative indeed Tongue

Like gambling websites, every business/website has certain promotions to get new customers to avail their services but gambling websites mention that the amount they'll get is assured or not. At the end of the day, gambling is just as risky as any other business and hence winnings aren't guaranteed.
3913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone booked profit when btc touched $ 400 ? on: February 02, 2016, 05:54:35 PM
Same here, I'm just waiting for the next crash so I can buy some coins then sell again at 450. No matter what you're saying, faith has nothing to do with that, it's just a matter of how you can take quick profit =)

Price may change anytime but we always remain hopeful that price will rise soon so that we got profit by selling. But it would be more profitable if we hold our bitcoins till the upcoming halving....

Yes it will surely rise because many people think that this year is Golden year for Bitcoins. I also want to buy some Bitcoins now itself so that, I could get some definite profits around halving.
3914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 02, 2016, 05:45:25 PM
I store my bitcoins in a online wallet, its the best way.
Don't store your coins in one wallet.
If you get hacked they got all your bitcoins it would be very bad.

I am also using online wallets to store my bit coins. I know that it is not safe to store large Bitcoins in one wallet. So, I have used many wallets sometimes it is difficult to manage them but I know it is very important for security purpose because anyone can hack wallet easily and get all of Bitcoins.
3915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 02, 2016, 03:35:08 PM
Anything that can be used to buy items online or offline or be exchanged to money to do the same is real money in my opinion, Bitcoin is real money and an interesting concept too.

Yes, even I am considering bitcoin as a real money, the current situation of bitcoin adoption in my country stopping me from using bitcoin as a real money. Hopefully in near future, I may find more merchants to spend my bitcoins.
3916  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: February 02, 2016, 02:37:09 PM
I love the value that can always change. That makes it so much fun and unexpected.
It is a kind of game. But the disadvantage is it that you therefore suffer a loss but if you wait long enough to make a profit.

I also find the fluctuating prices are the best thing with bitcoins we can not expect this much variations with any other currencies. Even I do not trade actively, I do trade with long term holding to make assured profits.

If you are good enough to make use of fluctuating prices for your bitcoin trading, then making good profit from bitcoin is very much easier. Right now bitcoin is better than gold to trade. I too like bitcoin for trading.
3917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that Satoshi is still active on Bitcointalk.org? on: February 01, 2016, 06:10:20 PM
yes i do believe hes here reading stuff under another acount name.

I too believe that Satoshi must be visiting this forum on regular basis. It is a every human nature to watch how their child is performing. Satoshi will not be an exception to ignore his beloved hard work.
3918  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: February 01, 2016, 06:02:10 PM
I am not buying Bitcoins now. It seems that price will goes down and better to wait little bit.
Hope for price increase, time will tell.

But I do not see any further down fall for bitcoin prices. For a long term bitcoin investors, this price itself a good buying average to better the buying averages. For me price is not a concern only excess money I expect to be available to buy some bitcoins.
3919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 01, 2016, 05:04:02 PM
In some other thread like "bank or bitcoin wallet", I just see some advantageous of bitcoin wallet over bank accounts. I ask myself why I still hold my bank accounts. Definitely bitcoin is going to wipe out bank accounts.
3920  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: February 01, 2016, 04:25:01 PM
As far as the report is concerned we should not think about it now. The future of our bitcoins I can see is very bright because everyday there are many users is joining and using bitcoins and I am sure one day it will be recognized by the whole world and will trade in bitcoins.

Well bitcoin must have some projection to the future besides the value that has and will grow over the years, they must have an objective and do anything to achieve it ,i believe bitcoin is just to be mainstream as a option to pay or to save your own money without any third part involved.

Yes, the future of bitcoin is payment solution, investment vehicle and storage medium.  The better part of these benefit is there is no involvement or trust of any second or third party is needed, yes everything is within first and second party itself.
