3481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: August 22, 2016, 03:58:11 PM
it is hard to make bitcoin disappear right now. BItcoin is getting more and more popular and its price is increasing day by day. I have seen many people use bitcoin to buy stuff, pay bill, tax. And although my government ignore bitcoin as a currency, i always believe that one day, they will accept it Smiley

Yes, because now bitcoin is going very well, so in this time, we don't think that bitcoin can disappear. But one think is that if bitcoin disappear, so most of other crypto currencies are here we should use it, and may be bitcoin will be come on other crypto currency. But we will face the lose if bitcoin die. But now i don't think that bitcoin die, i am certain that bitcoin has a bright future.

You are very diplomatic in your thoughts, and I think bitcoin is still in its primary stage and it will grow more in future so I don't think there is any scope for bitcoin to disappear.

Everyone have a right to speak their own opinions. The thread is belong to DISAPPEAR, so if i explain about it so i am Diplomatic person?
Sir you should read my post once again, i explain it both sides.
You don't seem to understand what 'diplomatic' means, and I don't very much have the obligation to explain.
However, what you said is right. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

If I were to to answer the thread title, since it's a yes or no question, I'm saying yes. Bitcoin can very well disappear and we all know that. I don't know the reason, I don't know when, I don't know who's fault, I don't know how, but it CAN.
3482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: August 22, 2016, 01:52:35 PM
It is sure easy to understand, and if we are a gambler we will know that base on experience, my experience as I was once addicted with gambling and even now I still have that slight addiction as not all the time I can control myself in gambling. When you are addicted, you have more time in gambling than any other things in your life.
You're not really a gambler if you are addicted and can't control yourself from gambling. Well, atleast you won't be a gambler for long since you're going to be sacrificing literally your everything to hit and "win big" or so they say.

I think if you are addicted we can say that its a gambler because they are staying in that hobby and he live in gambling..
But the problem if you are always losing there and never make any profit yeah i think they are not a gambler.. because they are lossing for nothing .a true gambler they know about the game if they will lose or not..
I think a true gambler is the one who knows when to stop and when its getting more than enough. Anyways a recently was reading some article and it was right on telling why gambling addicts , they said - Gambling makes you feel for win and hard on loose, this makes you go more and ore when loose and unstoppable on wins.
3483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: August 22, 2016, 07:00:22 AM
good decision dude you shouldn't do gamble if you afraid to lose
because if we know about gambling so we must ready to win or lose
biggest mistake is you too greedy better small profits than lose
good luck for you next time

There is simple rule for gambling if we are not ready to lose than it's biggest mistake to get started, and we have to play with some limits because that is very big problem when play like greedy and want to get rich with gambling in a day, that is great decision to give up gambling after losing some amount.
From many gamblers experience in gambling, I too feel quitting must be a very big lifetime decision for the sake of good health for the rest of the life for the gambler. But keeping on gambling with the blind belief makes most of the gambler to suffer further even at some point they realize the dangers of gambling. As I have watched many gamblers, giving up gambling after few losses is not possible for them.
3484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 21, 2016, 06:14:20 PM
It can fix your life when you win.
It can wreck your life when you lose.
But it cannot wreck your life if you do not wager an amount that you cannot afford to lose.
Also, if you win it cannot also fix your life if you just wagered a small amount of money.

Whatever was that, I still think that it will result to wrecking, winning small ang losing big means that the losing percentage is higher compared to winning... In what you've mention you mention the good part and all ends up in bad side right?  Smiley
It is better still to wager a small amount of money although we lose but still enjoy the game. That's what matters in gambling to last in the long run, we need to enjoy all the time and treat losing as your expense to be entertain, pretty simple to understand if you are not desperate to earn money in gambling.
Unless you actually only play to win, and do not ever think about having fun. I do not really spend much money on gambling and most of the times use only the satoshis I get from the free faucet and have fun seeing it go up until the point that I can withdraw it.
3485  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: August 21, 2016, 04:28:37 PM
Invest them!
Surely, not in cloud mining sites because by now, it should be common sense to not invest in cloud mining sites unless you're prepared to actually lose all of your investments.
Trading would be more beneficial since there's less risk although less rewards as well. But that's a good trade considering you can actually earn legit and without having to worry about getting scammed.
3486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your aim in gambling???? on: August 20, 2016, 07:49:15 AM
Yes, those gamblers who are saying here their motivation is only fun are the earlier looser in the gambling.
Gambling had taught them a very big lesson so they had changed their attitude to make up their day somewhat satisfactory to them.
Yes, that must be a good move because it will prevent to finish up a day with frustration if you are aiming for entertainment from gambling. Instead of playing for an impossible benefit from gambling why not we can go for easily available benefit. I too emphasize gamblers to go for gambling only for the benefit of making fun out of it.
3487  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: August 19, 2016, 08:03:01 PM
A big YES!  I will accept it as a salary.  It would not be a problem since we have here a licensed bitcoin wallet.  It has all the services needed from loading prepaid cards to school tuition fees.  It has been partnered with almost all bank here in our country.  The only problem is I will not be able to have my salary in full as encashing it has fees on it.
But in my country, the government doesn’t want to popularise bitcoin, they don’t want us to use bitcoin as much as our national currency so it’s quite tricky and difficult for us to only convert it to fiat money not to mention having a licensed bitcoin wallet or paying anything like in your place.
So, I just wonder where are you come from, your country sounds great to bitcoin users and about the fees, well everything has fees so it’s just a small problem.
3488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: August 19, 2016, 04:54:21 PM
My strategy in gambling are very simple. I will set an amount that enough to have fun. Im put small amount to bet so i can have more try. When im won, im taking some rest then gamble again. When my earnings is enough, i stop gambling and gamble again on the other day. When the amount that i set loss, i stop and try again on the other day. I do gamble for fun and also to have profit.

i think every strategy can be good enough if you can stick to it till the end and not go out of the rules you set for yourself.
for example if you set a rule that you only make small bets then you should never make any big bet ever. this way you can eliminate emotions from you gambling decisions so that you can have a better chance of winning.
Simple gambling rule is to always only gamble what you can afford to lose. Sticking into that simple rule, everything else can become easy. Always do pre-planning about the place/site that you're about to play. Check it's reputation and see if it pays its users even if they win big.

There's no real way of having a perfect strategy, but there are ways of reducing the risks.
3489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ONLINE GAMBLING WILL BE BANNED IN THE PHILIPPINES on: August 18, 2016, 08:23:01 AM
They might be able to censor and ban online gambling with fiat but good luck banning online btc gambling  Cheesy
Yes they can only shut down physical casino and fiat based registered casino but it will be impossible for any country to stop bitcoin casino. They dont have fear about their citizen lossing being addictive but they care more about the tax they are not getting from these casinos.
Yes, as long as technologies support human to evolve, government will get problems. We should not ignore that government is not caring about people's health and wealth. I believe every government is highly responsible for it's citizen's welfare. I like to appreciate Philippines government's decision on gambling. I wish my country too to follow Philippines government's stand on gambling.
3490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: August 18, 2016, 05:49:57 AM
I read in a book once, you're actually better going with both heroin and hookers. As the heroin helps your body fight off AIDS that the hookers will have.

You are just kidding, right? To stay away with gambling, that person is looking to better his/her life and not go to another equally or more vices that makes a mess life.

The person who seek help out of addiction is looking for a healthy and clean life.
When considering the health hazard of those habits, gambling addiction is much far better to handle with. I never agree even with the habits of smoking or alcoholic drinking to get rid of gambling addiction. Dopes real human killers similar to slow poisons. Never go for that. It is equal and to suicide. Instead of  it, you may continue your gambling at least your life may be secured.
3491  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2016, 08:49:56 PM
Yes, keeping them on Bitfinex  Angry
Sorry, rip your coins. But I believe finex is giving back the users' coins? I've heard some of bitcoiners have received theirs.

I have lost coins too because of my carelessness to  forget my wallet. Sad those ~0.19 bitcoins were forever lost. Regretting has no meaning but learning a lesson out of that and sharing my experience here might give me some satisfaction.
3492  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: August 17, 2016, 07:53:16 PM
Does someone has any suggestions how to make 17 BTC with 7 BTC starting capital in short period of time?

No investment is guaranteed to generate you profits in a short time. The only way is gambling, or trading in BTC or in another currency (but it's basically gambling as well).

Trading is absolutely not gambling, it surely has risk as well but not as much as gambling has, and it is proven that trading needs knowledge and experience which gambling has nothing to do with.
Can you find gamblers who can proudly say that they use their experience of knowledge to make profits with it? You cannot.
But you can find a lot of traders who are earning a living with it and that they can proudly say they are traders.

I completely agree. Gambling requires no knowledge and skill in traditional sense, trading does. But the two things that gambling and trading have in common is that for both you need a bit luck and both caries certain amount of risk.
Also, gambling doesn't give us a chance to withdraw the remaining bet amount while in trading, we can cancel our trades if they are in loss and withdraw the remaining amount.

There are higher chances to win while trading as many experts predict the prices correctly and let us know which currency pair to invest on and even it's the case with bitcoin trading where we can get an idea to buy/sell bitcoins which is not possible with gambling. However, many have managed to double or triple their income with gambling.
3493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: August 17, 2016, 06:47:12 PM
I gamble for fun, profit for me is just a bonus.I usually play poker to kill time and also to have fun. When i win in poker i just think that my winning is only a bonus while i am having fun. I can't see why people are having a problem when they cant stop betting until they lose. Because for me it is alright to lose as long as you are enjoying the things you do.

i gamble only for fun either, i know that it wont allow me to make any good money unfortunately so i dont bet big and dont expect huge winnings
Playing for fun means that you wouldn't care if you lose because you're there to have fun.
You're not there to make any profits at all because even if you do, you'll most probably use those winnings to play more games anyway, just like what I always do.
One time I won quite a good amount and instead of keeping them all, I played for so much until I broke even. I had fun, and I didn't lose anything. That's profit enough for me.
3494  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: August 17, 2016, 05:07:15 PM
I'm earning bitcoin online and I convert it to fiat, that way I can spend it in real life if you consider that. But I'm not buying an item online usong bitcoin.
Buying an item online with bitcoins is not really that considered using bitcoin in real life.
I pretty very much believe op is thinking about purchasing physical goods onhand with bitcoins directly. But that is just not for everyone because not all countries have stores that accepts bitcoins just yet.
3495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Didn't know I can loss all without winning anything on: August 16, 2016, 06:00:42 PM
I too had the same fate where there are some games I do not understand at all and hence I can not even play them in a demo mode to understand how they work.

I had received a 0.01 BTC amount as a bonus via a giveaway and had to bet minimum 0.003 BTC which I did. I did not understand how the result was negative and I lost it and again lost the next two rounds. It was just a bad day and bad game for me.
3496  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: August 16, 2016, 02:38:23 PM
Im not really good at managing my funds at first  because im just spending all my money without any hesitations for tommorows budget. In the end  i realized that im doing the bad thing because  i might experience bankruptcy in the long run which i dont like to happen in me because of that i change my way on spending my money already i made plans first before spending on a certain thing unlike  in the past.
I was in same kind of mentality before I entered into bitcoin world.
Now I am very much selective on choosing my spending and I am more conscious about saving and investing in bitcoins. When bitcoin kind of investments has some assurance for decent returns in future, no one will want to miss that opportunity. That must be one of the reason for the changes in my attitude towards money related things.
3497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling worth to try for newbie? on: August 16, 2016, 12:23:16 PM
Gambling just for fun worth to try for newbies, but if it's considered as a job or daily work it will be worthless in my opinion.

Yes, it is true. Gambling is just a way to get entertainment so anyone adult people can try to have fun with these games but shouldn't try for earning income from gambling because you may lose a lot of money. If you gamble with an intention of fun then whether your newbie or expert no difference.
Yes, I have seen many experienced the gamblers but still believing in to gambling like a newbie.
If a gambler is not getting maturity on how to gamble, then there is no difference at all.
I really wonder in what ways gambling will be worthy for a newbie, because most of the experienced gamblers are already facing losses, then how a newbie could find gambling worth to try.
3498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 16, 2016, 09:11:43 AM
As expected pitch started to give turns, and after initial loss now this partnership is very important for Sri Lanka as lead above  250+ will be secure for them to win this test or atleast draw it, Australia bowlers are trying fully to control this test match as they wanted to restrict SL below 200 runs. Now at the present stage all three options are clear , but i think Australia will win or atleast try to draw it.
The current partnership between Dinesh Chandimal and Kaushal Silva will be very crucial for Sri Lanka and this partnership may decide this test match. Sri Lanka is still leading with less than 200 runs. They must at least need 250+ runs to defend Australia.

Shaun Marsh will be the key for Australia's chances to win or to draw this match. But Sri Lanka's spin attack will enforce this test match towards a result for sure.
3499  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think bitcoins will disapear or become unused? on: August 16, 2016, 07:04:19 AM
Yes a lot of people who do not use because I think bitcoin is still new so it is still a few people who know bitcoin. If bitcoin is still developing I'm sure not going to disappear or no longer used. Because according to my bitcoin is still favorable so I'm sure the bitcoin will increase and make flourish.
the popularity of bitcoin is not about it's still new or whatever,it's depend on how much people now really advanced enough to use technology, most of people just know social media or any useless thing beside of aware with technology which could help their life
It will come to a time where bitcoin's usage will end. Although that time may take years, decades, or even centuries to happen. But what will never end it's historical value as the very first successful crypto currency that has been used and adopted by the world. Being the first is the very big advantage for bitcoin. That will add more fame to bitcoin regardless of what the future has hidden within it.
3500  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: August 15, 2016, 08:52:40 PM
I will invest them in altcoin trading, not all of them but will keep some of them to be on safer side, as if my trading investment goes wrong I still have enough backup from which I can start once again.

i think that would be the best move my friend Cheesy trading is good but still, don't put all of your eggs in just one basket Cheesy you should really have something left on your safebox Wink

Yup that is the right thing to do, only invest that you can afford to loose, and it you make good profits from trading then its a win win situation for you, but you need to be very careful at initial stage.
"be very careful at initial stage" easier said than done. I've always encountered these when I first started with altcoin trading and I thought it was really easy to trade so I just went in and poof! My capital just went down to 0 right at the bat because of my impatience and ignorance. Good lesson learned the hard way.
