141  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinpayments.net : they don't refund late confirmed payments on: January 28, 2020, 08:20:18 AM
There is not much you can do since they apparently have a policy about it. Their explanation about the tx fee makes little sense since they can easily refund you with a 1 sat/b fee.

147  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] HitBTC - 3300$ on: January 26, 2020, 06:20:44 PM
Regarding your issue, how much time was between making the deposit and them asking where the funds came from?
148  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] HitBTC - 3300$ on: January 26, 2020, 06:13:34 PM
There have been numerous warnings about HitBTC in the past. What made you decide to continue trading on there?
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 26, 2020, 08:48:52 AM
I assume you will accepting Lighting payments only? Onboarding people is extremely easy since there are multiple fiat onramps for Lightning now. I love what Jack Mallers is doing: https://www.fiattolightning.com/
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank, Necessary? on: January 26, 2020, 08:45:00 AM
ING bank is working on a custodial service for its customers. I've spoken to several people having their ING bank accounts frozen due to suspicious behaviour (which all turned out to be false/unfounded). Nothing is stopping them from freezing your bitcoins.

Aaron van Wirdum wrote a great article explaining what Taproot is and what it'll do for Bitcoin: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/taproot-coming-what-it-and-how-it-will-benefit-bitcoin

EDIT: I missed aoluain's post Sad.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: January 26, 2020, 08:38:53 AM
Unless you're into trading, you should go for offline wallet either a hardware or paper wallet with keys kept securely. If you are into trading and hence would need a frequent transfer of funds, then have a secure software wallet preferably on a device which is less frequently used. Trust only those exchanges which have good reviews  and downloads.

In cryptos you need to look after the safety of your funds. No one can help you in case funds are lost.
Invest and trade safely!

MtGox had good reviews.
Cryptsy had good reviews.
Cryptopia had good reviews.
QuadrigaCX had good reviews.

Do you want me to continue?
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to safely store big amounts of BTC? on: January 26, 2020, 08:26:25 AM
Using a titanium back up is the safest way to store your recovery seed, to make sure your seed doesn't get lost in a house fire etc. Jameson Lopp tested most of them to see which ones are the most durable. Interesting to read:

154  Economy / Reputation / Re: 🔥 Vile Chipmixer Bounty Abuse 🔥 Probably the Biggest Con Job on Bitcointalk on: January 24, 2020, 08:15:43 PM

it sounds like the same old tripe about discrimination against "Turkish members", albeit without mentioning "the word race or ethnicity". This whole thread is predicated on some misplaced sense of national entitlement. Forget that and you'll have a much better time here.

whatever, it's nothing to do with nationality, it's a blatantly obvious pattern, but I admit it was a mistake on my part to spend so much time over the last 2 days over injustices on an internet forum.

You guys obviously have cultivated an easy profitable con job here with deep entrenched friendships built over the years, complete with many alt accounts and even loyal obedient henchmen...

And if your employers are ok with the masquerade, and administration is happy to remain silent on it and let a once great forum sink further into mediocrity, then that would be the end of that...

Good Luck

Seems like a good time to lock this thread.
155  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BiFi - Bitcoin Paid VPN Wifi (Need Support) on: January 23, 2020, 07:22:28 PM
Your presentation only raises more questions:

1. Your OP says the max supply of 200,000,000 coins but you ended up with 350,000,000. What made you decide to mint 150,000,000 tokens extra?
2. Do you have any information about the company HotPepperUSA? How did you contact them? Their website appears to be offline.
3. What do you mean by 'further use', regarding to the 80% that's locked?

It might help if you post pictures to show that the Ledger is still actually factory sealed.
157  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice.com - Withdrawal XRP Equal to SCAM ?!!! on: January 21, 2020, 06:32:13 PM
Hi I'm OGGameOG

What I want ? - I want them to remove XRP From primedice and Stake I waited almost 4 hours for a withdraw wtf men it's only 300 something XRP why we wait, I don't want this problem again with me or with anyone else

Support/Eddie said "Ripple network having issues bro. We have to be patient"

NOW WHY I CREATED THIS POST:-
1) I want Eddie to help me fast why we need to wait ? I know they all are legit people's!!
2) they should remove XRP From their site

PS- it's a request from all of you guys, please help me, and tell Eddie to do something fast, 4 hours men :/
I would share this in my group aswell my near groups

Primedice is trustable website- problem is with XRP transaction is not found from 4 hours somehow

Either close this thread or move it to Reputation. This is not a scam (attempt).
158  Economy / Goods / Re: [Pre-Order] [Sell] Cryptocurrency Tshirt on: January 20, 2020, 06:29:33 PM
1. Are you willing to accept escrow?
2. Are you printing them yourself?
3. Where are you shipping from?

Peter is obviously making this up to gain more attention. Look at the engagement his tweets are getting. He is clearly struggling to remain relevant.
