Hey guys do you know actually if any country in the world accepts the payment of taxes in Bitcoin? Just out of curiosity. I think it was possible in USA Ohio State, but may not be possible anymore... So let's say instead of paying my taxes in Japanese Yen (assuming I live in Japan), I will pay the government in BTC. I'm surprised not more governments are accepting Bitcoin payments for taxes. Makes it really easy for them to use chainalysis and track your coins.

Soo I just fell down the collectible rabbit hole. Guy is selling a 2014 .01 microsoul. He was able to show a blockchain.info of the wallet with .01. Sticker on the back looks good.
What do you guys think of these things? Whats it worth? Thanks
There have been some issues with Microsoul coins. You can read all about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2136007.0(tldr; the private keys might be compromised)

Please include this flag to your OP https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1398 so that it will be supported by many. Sounds like a classic exit scam. @OP, why did you choose to use a centralized mixer over Wasabi or Samourai (Whirlpool)?
Sometimes it happened when only using google for researching, it gives a hell bunch of results, sometimes you encounter phishing sites appears on the top instead of original one. Which is where 'don't trust, verify!' comes from. You should really think twice before sending nearly $100,000 to someone you don't know.

Would you be interested in auctioning it? You can set the starting bid at your absolute bottom price and see what happens from there.

His opinion is worthless since he knows nothing about cryptography or Bitcoin. I wouldn't be surprised if Calvin paid him to sit there and lie about Craig being Satoshi.

Accordingly, Buffett is lying or has become so senile that he did not remember what happened just a month ago.
There's a high chance he didn't understand what happened (that he has received a Bitcoin wallet and 1 BTC+ on it). And the only chance I see for that Bitcoin to not get lost is if somebody will recover from thrash somewhere that phone and the wallet it contains. That usually happens to people his age. I truly don't see why people value his opinion or why so much attention went towards that lunch. Justin Sun is a scammer and Warren Buffett is an old has-been. He still uses a flip-phone. You can't expect him to understand anything about technology.

I do not mind to KYC in regards to making my funds are legit. I DO mind the fact that a company stores my personal data and I have no way of telling how it is stored, if it has been leaked (during a hack) etc.
Most times KYC is not for disclosure purpose but to guarantee security of fund, so that third party won't run away with investors money. So it is a bar on the owner of fund only when KYC corresponds to provided information already and a total bar and exclusion of a third party. This is what I'm talking about: https://www.coindesk.com/binance-kyc-issueI don't like my information leaked on the internet like that, especially when it involves selfies/pictures of my official identity documents.

Do you have plans to make the pools decentralized, for example by letting users enter their x/y/zpub?

John McAfee just said Bitcoin Outdated and Loves Ethereum. Is that a real interview. If yes, what are you thinking that, why he said that. He is afraid of his word which he had said 2017! If you didn't see you can see the interview. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yi35uBCrqoJohn McAfee has no knowledge about Bitcoin, let alone crypto currency. He gets paid to shill shitcoins on Twitter, that's it. His opinion is worth nothing, just ignore him because he is dying for attention like this.

I recently found out about www.spending-bitcoin.com. There are over 1,000 stores listed on their website, all accepting BTC payments.

Too bad none of the major travel sites accept Bitcoin. The Expedia bitcoin trial period ended rather quickly.
There are quite a bit of travel websites that accept Bitcoin. I recently used www.travala.com to book a hotel and it worked flawlessly. They even partnered with Booking.com recently. There are also loads of websites where you can book flights using Bitcoin.

I have had a problem with my Ledger Nano S for over 2yrs now and Ledger Support can't even help me.
My Ledger Nano S issued me a Bitcoin Segwit receive address.
I transferred my coins to this address and have never had access to them.
My Ledger has never recognised this address since it issued it to me and according to Ledger Support they say that this address does not belong to my xpub.
The coins are still sat at this address - can anyone help me recover them?
I sincerely doubt that your Ledger would generate an address not related to your xpub.

Few questions:
1. Are they new or used? 2. Do you still have receipts? 3. Can you post pictures, including a time stamped message? 4. Do you accept escrow?

Basically, the LN at its core is a system for moving funds through peers with no requirement to check where it is coming from or going to. That itself is money laundering, No it's not, go back to metanet.

The answer is simple - decentralization. Bitcoin is unstoppable because it's decentralized. Do you know who controls the system? Neither do the government.
I doubt they'd be interested in actually stopping Bitcoin, since that would be them destroying innovation. Governments will do their absolute best to (over)regulate Bitcoin by restricting fiat on/off ramps (look at the recent AMLD5 changes).

I don't see the issue with mixing legit funds, since you'll still be able to explain where the funds are from. Larry Harmon is suspected of having a partnership with AlphaBay, actively laundering their funds.
