well, thank you all for your support and compassion, now I have difficult times.
At least the fraudster is blocked and will not be able to deceive others.
I will sometimes see to it that his account is not unlocked.

He'll probably just move to a different account and buy some followers to make it look legit. Always check a website to see what their official accounts are.

A buddy of mine that's big on Instagram received an email from them about a week or so ago. They want him to become one of their marketing partners. I just found this thread and there are a lot of potential red flags here. Does anyone have any update about them?

Nothing has changed. I would suggest your friend to stay away from them.
691  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What BTC Payment Processor to Implement in My Site ? on: August 11, 2019, 12:08:02 PM
Hello everyone,

I am selling a service on my website (subscription) that costs 5$, and I want to add a crypto payment processor, Mainly (BTC-LTC-ETH).

the problem is that I've seen a lot of payment processors and most of them I don't guarantee or either has AML/KYC crap.

I am currently choosing between "blockonomics" or "mycelium gear", do you recommend any of them?

Now I need to know what you guys would suggest I would use/do in this case?

If it helps, my application is in node.js.

https://github.com/btcpayserver/node-btcpay

BTCpay has a node.js client, pretty easy to implement, completely open source and has LN support. DO NOT confuse this with Bitpay, the AML/KYC clusterfuck known for their partnership with Bitmain, which many do, and that's how you end up being put on "a list".

This is the only logical choice imo. BTCpay is a solid payment gateway with a lot of active development.
692  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [APP] - Vivid AR Portfolio - Augmented Reality Portfolio for Android and iOS! on: August 11, 2019, 07:01:43 AM

i think is a fun wallet that holds crypto and at the same time is a social network and we can also do 3d ads, i will definitely download it...

Have you actually looked at Vivid or are you just trying to increase your post count?

1. It's not a wallet, it does not hold any crypto.
2. It's already available for download here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vivid.arportfolio / https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vivid-ar-portfolio/id1442562064

I wouldn't touch this with a 10 ft pole. Your website is filled with spelling errors, looks poorly designed and mentions 'Bitcoin stock exchanges'. Seems like a blatant scam to me.

695  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: August 11, 2019, 06:32:23 AM
Jason Smith gives up on BSV, sells for BTC and apologizes in My Conclusions regarding Craig Wright on Medium.

Quote
My conclusions led me to divest completely from my BSV holdings, and put everything back in to BTC, where it will remain.

I remember seeing the Jason Smith tweet in February, and he still comes off as lost as fuck, especially since his main reason for coming back to bitcoin seems to be based on dumbshit, such as craig wright is not really satoshi.

So maybe Jason Smith will get his shit together in the coming months and be able to stay convicted in regards to the actual strengths of bitcoin instead of merely coming off as a kind of exaggerating and waffling attention whore.

Never heard of the guy. His tweet storm makes no sense, wanting to use LN to pay his employees. On-chain transactions are perfectly fine for that. He can even use 1 sat/byte fees for that since payments like that don't need instant settlement.
696  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack Is Fraud on: August 10, 2019, 07:29:35 PM
Again, the signature I wear has nothing to do with the posts I make. Defending or shilling FJ is not in the campaign requirements.

The screenshot OP posted shows no fraud or scamming.

Fair enough.  What are your thoughts on this FJ campaign members post?

A casino is where people use their money to try their luck. This luck can end up both in a big win and an equally bad loss. The OP did just that and the outcome was a wrong one. There is nothing "wrong" here.

If you believe casinos are like charity houses to offer "free cash" to every player out there then you are mistaken. So called "VIP member" LMFAO

On the other hand, those who are playing on the site have agreed to the TOS and moreover all the rolls are public and verifiable. All these make this thread a bullshit one and the OP a crybaby.

Seems like a generic post to increase his post count.

The reason why I am asking is because:

1. 999 out of 1000 casino accusations are made by sore losers.
2. I refuse to wear a casino signature in the 1 case where the accuser is telling the truth.

I like how the two people quick to defend fortunejack are being paid by fortunejack.

O_O

I am not defending anyone. I'm asking for factual evidence to back up his scam accusation.
699  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Bitcoin SV (BSV) - fake team member and plagiarized white paper on: August 10, 2019, 08:42:33 AM

Is this bad? Cheesy

Not as bad as this:

Less and less BSV nodes, and they're paying to be hosted:

https://twitter.com/melikmanukyan/status/1157785965017964549

40% of the nodes are hosted by DigitalOcean LLC.

Wiki: DigitalOcean, Inc. is an American cloud infrastructure provider headquartered in New York City with data centers worldwide. DigitalOcean provides developers cloud services that help to deploy and scale applications that run simultaneously on multiple computers. As of January 2018, DigitalOcean was the third-largest hosting company in the world in terms of web-facing computers.

2 node hosters represent barely under 50% of nodes (total nodes).

IF (I don't have the info) these two hosters have 100% upgraded to the current build (for 2GB blocks), it means that they control the network, because around 350 nodes have updated to 2GB per blocks client.

Lol, this shit ain't sustainable!

If it wouldn t be Sustainable it wouldn t attract all the Risk sensitive businesses and it could be attacked already all the Time.

Instead this and other Forums and News sites are full of fear and fud Posts...

Funny.

Why attack something while they're doing a perfect job destroying themselves?
