121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum going back to under 200$? on: March 11, 2020, 12:13:18 PM
The price of Eth today hasn't really been stable, but it's not falling below $190 so I believe after this retracement and correction, the price of Ethereum will surge back. Presently the market isn't stable even Bitcoin has been doing some unstable moves
Yes, and all of this certainly has its effects, such as the influence of the corona outbreak and the withdrawal of assets from some investors, thus making the market less volatile at the moment, and everyone is still convinced that the market will recover later.

Corona Virus has a very strong impact on the financial markets, including the cryptocurrency market. The price of Bitcoin has fallen below $ 8000 and currently the price of ethereum is under $ 200. Hopefully the corona impact will quickly end and the cryptocurrency market can recover
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: March 11, 2020, 12:09:48 PM
Selling tokens whose prices dropped more than 80% in my opinion is an act of panic that can bring greater losses. If the tokens or coins we have are tokens that have a large market cap value, I think we need to be patient and this is different from shitcoin that does not have use cases
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent (BTT) coin! on: March 10, 2020, 07:14:19 AM
BitTorrent Token got ranked as #1 coin to watch for this week, due to the upcoming V1.0.2 Beta launch!

Read more:

https://coincodex.com/article/7097/top-3-coins-to-watch-february-24-february-30/
With this beta launch significance of pumping the coin can take place, though we are still experiencing dump since BTC is still down. It's affecting almost
all project around. But thanks to this information as chances that this coin may experience good bounce when the market start to rise.
BTT ranked number 66 from CMC and still have the chance to received support coming from old and new investors who are willing to hold and
stored known assets.

BitTorrent (BTT) coin is currently traded at 5 Satoshi. How high do you expect this coin to move up by this event ?
Should we hold this coin for a long term or should we sell it in the next pump ?

That would be an Ideal move if you are holding some of BTT. Instead of Selling it a low price which I think it us not going to be as profitable as you may want why wait up for its price to pump up and sell it to be able to gain even just a little more profits. BTT is TRON'S native token and we know how big tron is and we know how big Justine Dun is and we know what he can do plus he has strong community of supporters that I think can be an integral part of project's success.

The problem with BitTorrent (BTT) is that it has a big supply which may not let this coin go too high.  It has circulating supply around 212,000,000,000 BTT while the total supply is 990,000,000,000 BTT which is very high. Also they are giving free BTT to tron holders and people are just selling those coins which they got just by holding tron.

Agree, the problem of a large total supply makes it difficult to move prices up because it will affect the market cap value. With current conditions, investors will prefer coins or tokens that are in the top 10 coinmarketcaps
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH, BSV more profitable than Ethereum? on: March 10, 2020, 07:10:23 AM
If I had to choose between Ethereum, BCH or BSV, then I would prefer ethreum and BCH. BCH and ethereum are traded in almost all large and small exchangers and in my opinion are more trusted by the long crypto community
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not blame it on Corona outbreak on: March 10, 2020, 07:06:59 AM
Alot of blogs and articles are referencing the facts that the present dip in prices is related to corona virus outbreak. But I do not believe so
I believe It's not just the virus, all these things were going to happen,
the virus just lit the match and acted as a catalyst

Coronavirus outbreak makes the supply of goods worldwide hampered and this disrupts the world economy. I think the fall in stock prices or the value of money and the current price of crypto because investors prefer to wait and see
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Did Binance just help Justin Sun take over the Steem network? on: March 09, 2020, 07:23:45 AM
I guess I always supported a free market and if Justin Sun (which I dislike very much) managed to take control of steemit, maybe he deserves to control it at the end as well? I am not saying he should do bad things just because he can but if steemit is not strong enough to fight off an attack at this level, how could it really hope to be a decent coin in the future as well.

Even if Justin sun completely removes himself from steemit and sells it and just leaves, how could be sure from now on to the future that nobody else will try something like that. Steemit had a chance to show it is resistant and it failed so right now whatever happens it is an coin that is untrustworthy for me.

why do you say that?is it because of justin sun who just bought it that you say the coin cannot be trusted.
that's a bit of irony because you associate project performance with the owner.
although under the new leadership then not all systems will change dramatically there may be an update from justin to make it better, who knows? Roll Eyes

Agree, with ownership changing, I think the direction of the business could change and maybe it could be better. Justin is a smart businessman looking for opportunities and after acquiring one of the exchangers, Justin can use his influence and seek profits
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: March 09, 2020, 07:19:23 AM
We all have a new hope for crypto this year and no one saw coronavirus outbreak coming, if this isn't contained anytime soon all dreams might be nothing but dreams this year, Coronavirus ain't helping at all

The melting of the wall street is also not a good sign and the fact that the "big wigs" in the wall street are selling off their shares and also losing out on billions within the ssame timeframe does not make the Wall Street look juicy at all. I think Corona Virus has great impact in the way and manner the financial sector is getting rocked these days. I pray this virus is contained and things falls back to normalcy else it keeps getting worseon a daily.

Almost all markets today are not in a good position and drop more than 5% in just one day. Corona virus affects globally because China isolates and this affects the distribution of goods globally
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit bounties are getting attention and hype! BE AWARE! on: March 09, 2020, 07:16:11 AM
Most people do not bother to do some research and due diligence before promoting a new project and that is a big reason why there have been so many scams in this sector because they can get free promotion, raise funds and disappear, i think it is high time that we start to pick and choose projects seriously so that we promote only real and legit projects.

Most only hope that the project that the campaign will follow will launch on the exchanger and quickly sell it. But now there are many campaigns that don't pay to the campaign participants and I think we need to be careful in choosing the campaign we want to participate in
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 08, 2020, 04:37:27 AM
and always follow a popular or trusted reward manager.add value to the project.
But not all BM that have a bad reputation execute a bad project.
some projects even run their own campaigns without using the BM.

By following a campaign organized by a bounty manager who is already good, at least we reduce the potential to join a campaign from a scam project. Managers who have long been able to understand the projects they handle are scams or not and I don't think they want to risk their reputation.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hostile takeover and the way forward on: March 08, 2020, 04:32:22 AM
Over the week, we all experienced what happened in the steemit network, this was made possible because in a space where decentralization is the keyword, we still patronise centralized platforms. Centralized exchanges were allegedly used as accomplices to try to takeover the steemit blockchain by using their user's funds to vote.
This could have been avoided if users use their personal wallet to store or stake their funds.

Fortunately we have wallets that are non-custodian and staking friendly like ledger for hardware or atomic wallet for software or any other that gives you private keys control.

Using your wallets to store and stake your coins gives you total control and accessibility, and reduces the power given to centralized exchanges to plot any takeover.

Agree, to save coins in my opinion the safest is to store in a wallet that we control the private key or seed words. Storing coins in an exchanger wallet is quite risky because every exchanger is a target for malicious hackers
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Hardware wallet really secure enough? on: March 08, 2020, 04:27:33 AM
Many people say that hardware is safer because it is not connected to the internet but in my opinion, mobile wallet is also quite safe as long as we don't share seed words with others and we protect them with a password.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum going back to under 200$? on: March 07, 2020, 09:54:33 AM
After a long time, Ethereum price increased well but it seems they failed to keep the high zone for a long time. Today Ethereum price decreased more than 25$ and it continues. Just seen an article that Ethereum price may come to 230 to 210$, so, if that happens then under 200$ is not that far!

Looking at the rising trend in Bitcoin prices that are happening right now, I think the Ethereum price will still stay above $ 200. If we look at ethereum price movements against Bitcoin, I think ethereum is still showing an upward trend
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: March 07, 2020, 09:51:22 AM
In my opinion, it's best to trade with exchangers who already have a large reputation and have large transaction volumes. Binance is one of the favorite exchangers of many investors because of the large transaction volume and ease of transactions
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the right time to invest in Stellar (XLM) in short term? on: March 07, 2020, 09:48:13 AM
As we all know Stellar (XLM) is a crypto coin, Which ranks in the top 15 positions in our crypto market. But from the past four to six months, it not doing a great job and the price regularly dumps. For a long time investment, almost every cryptocurrency gives a decent amount of profits. But in short time investment, Should Stellar (XLM) perform a good job, As the crypto market is in profitable conduction. Is this the right time to invest in Stellar (XLM) in the short term?

In my opinion, Stellar is worth a short-term investment at current prices. XLM is one of the coins that is actively traded and is listed on many exchangers, so for liquidity problems, I think it's not a problem when we want to sell at any time
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: March 06, 2020, 07:04:26 AM
Altcoin and Bitcoin prices can go up together but the effect is that Bitcoin dominance in the cryptocurrency market will decrease. When the price of Bitcoin rises significantly, the price of altcoin will remain affected and rise against the dollar because the benchmark price on the crypto market is Bitcoin.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here we go again on: March 06, 2020, 07:01:15 AM
Coronavirus with regulations in India in my opinion is different in context. Coronavirus might affect the world economy but regulations in India could open the discourse of opening regulations in other countries. Hopefully the opening of regulations in India will open the door for large investors to invest in the cryptocurrency market
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days? on: March 06, 2020, 06:57:56 AM
There are many great cryptocurrencies on the market with powerful features that enables anyone to be financially free like never before. From privacy-oriented coins, to smart-contract platforms, there's a cryptocurrency for anyone. In this highly-volatile market, even the most prominent cryptocurrencies have suffered a massive decline in price. The top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and even Litecoin may be highly undervalued these days. But there could be other good cryptocurrencies with limited supply and constant development that are highly undervalued too because people haven't noticed their true potential.

I'm starting to wonder, which cryptocurrencies on the market are highly undervalued these days? It's no secret that there are hundreds of altcoins on the market, each with their respective features. But not all of them are useful within the mainstream world. If there are other cryptocurrencies that are highly undervalued these, why do you believe them to be as such? Huh

The highest market value of the cryptocurrency market cap is at $ 800 billion and currently the market cap value is at $ 250 billion and I think many coins have an undervalued market cap. But with the number of prospective coins or new tokens, altcoin which has the potential to generate profits can change compared to 2017. I think coins in the top 50 can be a good reference or at least in the top 100 coinmarketcaps
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: March 04, 2020, 06:36:07 AM
I'm here to talk about bounties with long duration, I know we all have our experience with short term bounties and long term bounties but I have come to understand that it doesn't matter, here is my own experience
Last year I promoted E3T bounty project for 4weeks duration and I earned 30$
In 2018 I promoted Airwallet for more than 14 weeks and I earned over a thousand dollar

Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote

What is obtained from a bounty campaign sometimes depends on the value of the allocation. There are bounties with large allocations and short campaign durations and many of them are asked by bounty hunters. The actual bounty income will be seen when the tokens have been traded in the market, and if the project is good and attractive to investors, in the end the results obtained by the bounty hunter will be large even though the bounty allocation is not too large
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 04, 2020, 06:32:43 AM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations

Agree that not all projects are bad and there are also many developer teams that are dedicated to the projects they are working on in accordance with the roadmap that has been made. The problem with many good projects is the volume of transactions and investors tend to be interested in investing in projects that are liquid in the market
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: March 04, 2020, 06:28:45 AM
You can visit service section on this forum and you will buy 8K retweet`s and 9K likes, just like that. Hype can be real, but it can
also be fake. Don't believe in everything you see online.
This is clearly a scam. Who would sell Bitcoin at this moment with 50% discount? They tricked people with airdrop, and we here
know how easily you can make a token or a coin. After first trick they come up with some kind of offer, anything just you to give
them some money. Stay away from this.

Agree, it's better to avoid this promotion scheme because it looks like a ponzi scheme. They attract new investors by giving a certain amount of airdrops and hope that some airdrop participants will participate in the program they hold and intend to deceive their investors.
