341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your View of Facebook Coins? on: June 25, 2019, 01:01:47 AM
What's special about Facebook coins? partnership? quality product? next crypto or maybe think it's a bitcoin revolution? What do you think.

if I'm private, whatever it is, I will enjoy what they have made like a Bitcoin coin. so, if Facebook coins have a big chance on the market, of course I will use them and vice versa.

What is special about Facebook Coin is there are so many reputable and large companies that have partnered with Facebook making this coin. I think this will make it easier for Libra coin users to transact with fellow Facebook members and also withdraw via banks or visa and mastercard
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So ... It's too early to compare Lybra with Bitcoin? on: June 24, 2019, 06:39:56 AM
will you compare apples with oranges?

then you shouldn't compare Libra with bitcoin either. instead you should compare Libra with Paypal and Visa and all the similar payment processors because those are in the same category as this token.

I agree, it is not balanced compared to Libra coin with bitcoin. Bitcoin is decentralized cryptocurrency that is supported by miners and also communities without fundraising or ICO. While Libra Coin is supported by large companies and collects funds from investors. I'm sure in the end bitcoin is the winner
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna phase out very soon? on: June 24, 2019, 06:36:25 AM
- snip -

Indeed, i think ICOs still running in near future and many are good project. The trend right now is IEOs and investor prefer choosing IEOs from big exchangers because its profitable for short term.
I agree on the both you guys that ico will still be alive and kicking despite the fact that ico is currently recieving alot of negative news and bashes from the public just because they already see a new alternative replacement which was ieo's  .

ieo's are new and when the time comes i think other new release ieo will not be good as the earlier ieo's ( same thing happend when ico before were also new )  , so my message for the ico haters out there is that dont be confident with your ieo's , you never know maybe ieo's are going to phase out more earlier compare to ico

I agree, but for some IEO cases, I think people will still believe the IEO that is held by big exchangers such as binance, huobi, or Kucoin.
The rise of the IEO is followed by small exchanger and investors have not been too confident in the reputation of the exchanger. I think we will enter a phase where investors trust the IEO held by big exchanger
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is popular, what do you think? Will you participate? on: June 24, 2019, 06:33:07 AM
Yes, I will. Because it is a better and safer option for investment. IEO is popular not by its hype because investors are getting huge profits from it! All of the Binance IEO investors are becoming rich! The same thing is happening with the Kucoin and Huobi IEO investors! So, I will participate and now I am eagerly waiting for the Elrond IEO on the Binance Launchpad!

I think, IEO provides an opportunity to get profits. Now many exchangers are held IEO from various new projects. I am interested to participating in IEO and binance IEO is the best choice for investing our money
if we want to participate in IEO, we have to choose best IEO platfrom that provide fair system.maybe limitation for each investors will keep price rising after listing in market.personal allocation was good strategy and we will gain money.maybe i see binance that applied this system.

Binance is a pioneer in the IEO and the projects offered are very good. Binance very selective in choosing projects for the IEO because it also concerns binance's reputation as a big exchanger
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: June 24, 2019, 06:29:08 AM
For altcoins to start surging in price bitcoin is always the one to take the lead first ,altcoin season is not here yet so let's stop complaining ,wait patiently for altcoin season to return if not then don't bother investing in altcoins and go for bitcoin full time

I agree that the altseason hasn't coming yet. Current market conditions can be seen if the altcoin price depressed against bitcoin but against US Dollar rises because it follows the rising price of bitcoin. I think when the price of bitcoin starts to persist then the altcoin price will rise against bitcoin
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump is not always a good idea on: June 23, 2019, 09:39:21 AM
The fact is its always a bad idea to dump all your tokens you get from bounties unless you promoted a not too good project ,I've seen few bounty projects that hunters dumped and later the token price surge in value for example Gowithme bounty ,so how many of you dump gowithme token? The token did 10x already

If selling altcoin that doesn't have a clear project and convert it to bitcoin, I think that's a right decision. But if we hold altcoin in the top 50, I think holding for long term will be profitable in the future
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is some sort of bull run on: June 23, 2019, 09:35:49 AM
This bull run is not confirmed until the revive of the altcoins and till then it is accepted as this is the bull run only for the Bitcoin. In the previous bull run in 2017 it is seen than first altcoins were given rally then the BTC and the ETH grew.

I think we'll see the altseason soon. Now bitcoin is very strong and suppresses the altcoin price against bitcoin but if converted to us dollars, many altcoins survive on the price
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which countries are more friendlier to crypto? on: June 23, 2019, 09:32:47 AM
Based on what I have been hearing and according to this report : https://medium.com/%C3%A6ternity-ventures/top-8-crypto-friendly-countries-e6bbf90e8161 below are the list of top eight countries:

Malta — the Blockchain Island.
Liechtenstein — the Blooming crypto hub.
Japan — the Pioneering technological wonder.
Switzerland — the Crypto Valley.
Gibraltar — the Crypto Rock.
Estonia — the Baltic crypto power.
Barbados — the Caribbean Crypto-paradise.
Slovenia — small country with solid crypto plan.

My country is Indonesia and i think enough to provide easy cryptocurrency transaction. Although it can not be used as currency in a merchant but there is a Local exchanger and can buy a crypto with fiat money
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: June 23, 2019, 09:29:32 AM
Bitcoin crush the altcoins definetly or the altcoins will bounce back like December 2017, January 2018?
What's your opinion?

I think it's difficult to repeat the altcoin movement like in 2017. It might happen but only in a few altcoins and the altcoin price is now depressed due to the strong movement of bitcoin
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do investors think about ICO? on: June 22, 2019, 08:37:05 AM
Dear investor!
I have never invested in any ICO. I saw that most of the token / coin after being list on exchange was depreciated by more than 50%. Are you disappointed or all of that is in your plan ?
Thank you!

Investing in ICO is basically speculation based on a new project or whitepaper because the safest investment in the cryptocurrency market is bitcoin. I think investing in ICO is good as long as we do some research about the project that will be done and understand the whitepaper
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: June 22, 2019, 08:33:11 AM
The organizers of the projects can set the rules themselves, including the passage of KYC for bounty hunters. Perhaps this is required by the laws of the country where the project is registered. It is important that the rules are not changed during the campaign. To state the need for KYC in the end is unacceptable.

KYC likes or does not become a necessity now in the midst of the many ICO scams in 2018. Indeed KYC obligations should be set at the beginning of the bounty thread made and not at the end or towards the token distribution
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook plans to launch 'GlobalCoin' currency in 2020 on: June 22, 2019, 08:29:52 AM
If their project continues to work or build a crypto facebook is a lot of investors willing to invest in their project because the facebook community is big and their partner is great and I'm sure that their ico or ieo will be successful .

I don't know how particularly this will be done, but AFAIK, this is a stable coin and therefore investors can't expect a profit in the growth of the price just like USDT.

Even if Facebook coins will be like tether, people will definitely prefer Libra coins because they are backed up by real assets and big companies. If Libra Coin is a stable coin it will be a competitor for Tether or other stablecoin and not bitcoin
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Give up in crypto (my experience) on: June 22, 2019, 08:25:48 AM
Crypto is only very profitable if you are not a given up time there will always be times when you will only see failure ,disappointment but if you don't allow these things to get in your way you will win in the end

But cryptocurrency is also an investment with a high risk. Be patient and able to hold on for a long time depending on the altcoin that we hold because not all altcoins can be used as long-term investments
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to invest about crypto currency on: June 21, 2019, 05:56:25 AM
It's a very delicate venture investing in cryptocurrency. It's something one should be careful about and make a dedicated effort to research well before going into it. Most people just hear of successes made by others in crypto and because of that, they feel its an easy stuff and just dive into it.
One thing I can say is that cryptocurrency is a business for the strong in heart and determined. Also, patience, much of it is required when treading the part of cryptocurrency. Its best to start small, at least with established projects, Bitcoin and Ethereum before moving to upcoming projects like Veil, Harmony, etc.
Like I earlier said, research is of uttermost importance when choosing to invest in cryptocurrency.

Investing in altcoins is very risky and it would be better if make a research first on the project and also the developers team. Many occur altcoin looks good at the ICO stage and reach hardcap but the price falls when start listed the market. I am agree that bitcoin and ethereum is reliable investment
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: governments vs altcoins on: June 21, 2019, 05:52:03 AM
The government authorities are against crypto and thereby place restrictions because they are scared of the outcome when crypto is fully adopted. Another aspect is because they believe crypto increases crime rate and corruption, since some transactions will be done without anyone noticing them. Nevertheless, some of these government officials still take position in crypto, especially bitcoin when it dips. So let's not get it twisted, I'm not entirely against their views of crypto, they've been so many scams and insecurity in this space. We just hope for the best in future.

Many countries allow cryptocurrency trading and treat it as commodities. Even in some articles, it was mentioned that cryptocurrency is recognized as a digital asset and many online stores already accept cryptocurrency. The government cannot hinder the development of crypto because crypto is technology
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: June 21, 2019, 05:47:47 AM
I can't hold altcoin for long time because I think is not best ideas how to get much profit, always have lower price with all of altcoin keep holding for long time and always try selling when price is higher.
if we hold wrong altcoin ofcourse its bad idea.holding altcoin actually could give us alot of profits if correct on this coins.holding altcoin will give us two benefits from bitcoin price movement and altcoin movement itself.if market in bearish trend we will get double profits.
I am agree, In my opinion, there are only a few altcoins that deserve to be hold in the long run. It's better to be selective in choosing altcoin because it's very risky and better to invest in the top 100
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade on Latoken on: June 21, 2019, 05:44:40 AM
I am interested in trading in Latoken, a few weeks ago I was invited by friends to trade in Latoken, so far I have gained new experiences with a few coins and got a little profit.
I want to share my experiences here and make sure that Latoken is safe, is my decision right?

Several times I used the LAToken service and in my opinion its a good exchanger. Lots of coins that I think are potential in the future but the price is still cheap at Latoken but it's better to go past the KYC first before make trade or withdrawal
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Cryptocurrency on: June 20, 2019, 07:11:41 AM
I am determined to buy FB coin Libra even though it is not available yet. I hope it is available on exchanges where i can buy easily.

Will it be a threat to BTC and other altcoins? I am afraid that the prices of BTC and other altcoins will go down. It makes me hesitate to buy some currencies like TRX currently.

I think Libra Coin is not a threat to cryptocurrency but instead increases transactions that occur on the market. With the support of major Facebook companies, I think Libra Coin will attract many investors and have strong liquidity
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell All Altcoins For Bitcoin? on: June 20, 2019, 07:08:13 AM
Indeed the price of bitcoin is increasing and improving. Some altcoins are following bitcoin price increases but not all of them. If indeed you are holding a coin that is less profitable at this time then you should indeed sell and exchange it for bitcoin. I think bitcoin is more profitable than many altcoins for current conditions. At least you are not at a loss that makes you even worse. You must immediately make a decision before you regret losing all your money. I'm afraid that later the coins you have become ashes before exchanging for bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the safest investment in the cryptocurrency market. And I think selling altcoin and exchanging it to bitcoin is the right step because bitcoin is a major asset in the market, moreover the price of bitcoin is now increasing
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: June 20, 2019, 07:05:05 AM
I believe that bitcoin will never die. This market is still new and small, so early that bitcoin can die at this time. And 2020 will be a great year for the cryptocurrency market when a lot of big companies around the world will join the market. And if bitcoin dies just like your prediction, I think the whole market will die and no altcoin can survive.

There have been many predictions that predict bitcoin will die or be worthless but what happens is that bitcoin breaks the price of more than $ 19k. I think bitcoin will always be valuable because it has been recognized by many as a digital asset
