161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: February 24, 2020, 07:55:18 AM
If what is meant is to invest in crypto which is in the top 50, I think it can be used as a long-term investment. Many projects that I think have potential for growth and if liquidity is a factor that needs to be considered, I think choosing crypto in the top 50 is a rational choice
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: February 24, 2020, 07:51:21 AM
Scammers have different scamming techniques, some have to offer something too good to tempt people and this is different from hacking innocent people's wallet or bank account, those who get tempted by scammers offer are greedy people
Yes, and greedy people often do not use research or research on the offer given by scammers, so they will be very easy to be tempted and become victims of perpetual fraud, this is what we really regret until now and hopefully we are not included in the group of people greedy people.

Indeed, caution is needed to avoid scams. Scams can occur because of greed and I think this is human nature. Doing research before investing or before submitting the documents we have can keep us from fraud and I think the current fraud method continues to grow more sophisticated and we must be more careful
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check Liquidity Before you invest on: February 23, 2020, 12:25:46 PM
Liquidity illustrates investor interest and I think liquidity is an important factor that needs to be considered before deciding to invest. Coins or tokens that do not have liquidity will make it difficult for investors when they want to sell because it will result in prices falling deeper
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As a Bounty hunter, don't expect too much on: February 23, 2020, 12:19:24 PM
Often timw, i have seen lots of Bounty hunters complain about inability to sell their earned rewards simply because it dumped massively and got de listed or wasted away or died.

But I feel otherwise, some Bounty hunters expect too much from project they worked for and got few tokens, so instead of taking profits, they hold and end up earning nothing, then they claim the project is scam.

Stop working for free
Don't expect too much profits from projects.

NB: Taking profits does not literally mean dumping tokens, for examples, i earned 4,500,000 cyfm then worth over 200$
Today it worths less than 10$.

Always dyor

I think it's natural that bounty hunters hope for projects that are done because bounty hunters use their time and work. But indeed the conditions now are not like in 2017 where many bounty hunters get fairly large results
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 22, 2020, 12:55:55 PM
Ripple affected very badly before few days and created amid tension on the Investors, there was lot of excitement as the third largest crypto will soar the market but unfortunately it stills seems to be in bear. However analyst say to hold till the end to the year to see a massive rally on XRP, hopefully XRP will surprise the investors in upcoming days.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsbtc.com/2020/02/15/analysis-predicted-ripple-xrp-17-cent-bottom-200-rally/amp/

By being in the top 3 market cap value, I think XRP will have no trouble to skyrocket again. But with more and more promising new projects or projects, I think the focus of investors will be split and not just focus on XRP. In my opinion this is what makes XRP prices not fluctuate too much even though other altcoins have shown good price developments
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too scared to go for altcoins? on: February 22, 2020, 12:49:51 PM
Seeing the decline in the dominance of bitcoin in 2020, in my opinion altcoin experienced an interesting price movement. Maybe not all altcoins, but altcoins with large transaction volumes have seen prices start to strengthen. I think there is no need to be afraid if investing in altcoin as long as we choose altcoin which has a large liquidity and is actively traded on the market
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum on: February 22, 2020, 12:45:18 PM
Ethereum is still a popular platform besides Bitcoin. In addition, it seems that the Binance DEX hype is starting to fade and many new projects are still using ethereum networks. But seeing the development of Binance in the past few years, I think BNB is a pretty profitable investment in the future
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Crypto News Websites - Where do you find your crypto news? on: February 21, 2020, 07:44:02 AM
Cointelegraph and Coindesk are best among all of the crypto news websites! Though CCN was another legendary news platform but they closed it! I think you may add Coinbase because I have seen they are giving all the latest news about crypto in the app, therefore thecurrencyanalytics, cryptocurrency news dot com is good enough crypto news website, you may have a look at them.

Both of these websites in my opinion are always updated in reporting events on the cryptocurrency market. To find out the development of prices and also new coins being traded, in my opinion coinmarketcap is still the choice of many people besides Coingecko
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value! on: February 21, 2020, 07:40:57 AM
Did you hear about IronX and WPP? Both came in 2018, and both raised good money from ICO! From February 2019 to now, in IRONX telegram group 2-3 admins are active, if you ask about any update, they will reply to you "Our Technical team is working behind the scenes, very soon you will get an announcement"

Then I left their telegram group in March 2019, then a few days ago I was remembering all projects of 2019 then I joined IRONX telegram group again to see the latest update, you know what, admins are still active and giving the same answers what they copied year ago!

I don't know how many days I will remain mad after seeing this (Sarcasm)

Now, about WPP! Admins are very active for nothing. They raised 59 Million USD, just listed on Digifinex exchange and that's it, their coin value became worst, trading volume less than 1K USD! Whenever you ask to update, they will reply to you with shitty information, if you ask them back, they will ban you!

There are many projects that reach token sales of more than millions of dollars but performance in the market is detrimental to investors. In addition to the projects mentioned, the BBC or Tradove and Shivom are some projects that have earned millions of dollars but now the marketcap value is very small compared to the achievement of the sale of tokens at the start of ICO
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone still earning with bounties? on: February 21, 2020, 07:35:56 AM
Hi,

I didn't get any valuable tokens for several months in bounties (even the promised tokens without any value) .

Are you still earning money with them or just a few bucks (which is not worth to bother)?

In 2017 and 2018, it was so profitable. Now, what is the situation?

Should I start again?

The situation in 2017 certainly cannot be compared with 2019 let alone 2020. In 2019 and 2020 the market conditions are still not good and in my opinion this year has started to show good development. In addition, in 2019 and 2020 there are not many good projects that have a bounty program, so many bounty hunters choose to take a break

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins on: November 18, 2019, 08:09:37 AM
From what I know, the two coins mentioned by the OP are not traded in large exchangers. If it is still traded on a small exchanger, then the opportunity for investors to know about coins is quite small. In my opinion, if a token or coin wants to be recognized quickly, listing in large exchangers is an efficient way because it will raise investor confidence
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: November 18, 2019, 08:06:17 AM
After bitcoin and altcoin have lower price right now less have new IEO project listed on big exchange market, last months after launching with update an IEO on binance we do't hear Binance exchange will open new IEO again, maybe with many last IEO have lower price after listing Binance give difficult rule for every site to listed on IEO exchange.

Binary will periodically launch IEO and this has always been the target of many investors who want to get profits quickly. In general, IEO becomes an alternative to token sales after many investors are traumatized by ICO and I think this could be a token sales scheme that will change again if irregularities are found in token sales.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the not-so-known ways to generate crypto? on: November 18, 2019, 08:02:01 AM
Everyone talks about blogging, commerce, using referral systems, bounty, campaign signatures, streaming, selling courses, offering their services in gaming, camwhore. But there are other not so known ways to generate/earn cryptos?

To get a free token, in my opinion the bounty is an effective way but we have to filter it because many campaigns do not pay to the participants due to many factors. Trading is a way to increase the value of our portfolio, but we must understand market movements and technical analysis because if not, it can bring huge losses
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust New wallets with your fund on: November 18, 2019, 07:58:15 AM
The reason why i don't like new wallets
1. They always have low users which means they have nothing new to offer, even if new users try them out, once they don't see any thing new they bounce back to their old wallet, repetitive at work

2. Many new wallets on playstore can't be trusted, they have different set of aims, some have access to your private keys but they will fool users thinking you are the only one in control of the private keys and some don't  give out private keys to users, they work as online wallet

For wallet, I prefer to use mobile wallet, which is Trust wallet. In addition to having a large user base, Trust wallet has partnertship with Binance and this adds to user confidence. Besides being easy to use, the thing to remember is to always back up seed words
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: November 17, 2019, 01:38:20 AM
A good crypto project is enough to change one's life so why not take the chances?all i keep doing is making sure i get a share hold of very good coins or tokens with real use case and yes i did have many coins but i believe that a good crypto project is all we need. Am I doing the right thing?

Agree, in any investment world, building a portfolio based on fundamentals is more important. Even though the market conditions are not good but if we hold good coins in terms of liquidity and daily transaction size, I think in the future, we will still benefit from our investment
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you any new ideas to replace the KYC? on: November 17, 2019, 01:33:50 AM
Kyc for the bounty of the participants is not completely necessary, I think. It seems to me that the projects are asking them to go through this procedure in order to get rid of them and not pay them a reward.

I have the same thoughts also on that. If the project didn't tell beforehand that they need to undergo kyc after the program is finished, then they motivations not to pay those participants. Because only few will comply.
Instead of KYC, they can use the IP check, and the exclusion of those who are using tor network. But for legit exchanges, we can't avoid the kyc stuffs.

In my opinion, KYC has still not been replaced. IP check might be possible but we know it can be tricked and many countries still use dynamic IP so that IP keeps changing all the time. With KYC, people cannot falsify their data because the exchanger or the developer team will know whether our data is edited or not
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: November 17, 2019, 01:29:38 AM
Very interesting comparison that analyzes holding ETH in 2017 vs holding it today... https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/hodling-ethereum-2017-vs-2019/

Thoughts? I'm super happy to have swaped all of my ETH for BTC to be honest

There is no comparison between market conditions in 2017 and 2019. Conditions in 2017 are so hype that almost all altcoin prices go up by hundreds of percent as well as almost all ICOs are sold out for only a short time. In 2019 I think the conditions are tough but I think it will survive and continue to grow
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: short term or long term investing on: November 16, 2019, 01:19:33 AM
I also like the short-term investments in crypto. Because short-term investments are not too risky to cause harm. But I also play long-term investments for certain altcoins Like Bitcoin, ETH, BNB, LTC and BCH. For short-term investments I play for altcoins which price below $1.

There are indeed coins that are suitable to be used as short-term investments and some that are suitable as long-term investments. Not all coins in the market are good, some are bad for various reasons, so we must be able to sort out so that we don't get caught assuming that cryptocurrency is profitable and long-term investment because in my opinion, everything depends on the performance of the coin itself
Today, almost all investors and other cryptocurrency users are convinced that most companies have huge problems and therefore long-term investments carry a certain risk.  Of course, this risk is reduced if the investor invests in the highest rated cryptocurrencies.  And even among the most famous cryptocurrencies, I would choose Bitcoin, Ethereum, dogecoin and ripple.  Perhaps I would consider some more coins as an investment, but to a greater extent, investments can be more profitable, which you will make for a short time.  This will be profitable provided that the investor constantly monitors the development of the company and the situation on the cryptocurrency market.

When deciding to invest long term, it is safer to invest in coins that have large liquidity or top 10 coin marketcaps. I think the cryptocurrency market has good and profitable potential, but we must be patient because of fluctuating price movements
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 16, 2019, 01:16:17 AM
Personally i believe you are taking a big risk saving such huge amount for a project in Cryptocurrency. Investing in Cryptocurrency is highly risky especially when the money is for something as crucial as a house. The market can't be predicted at all. Stable coins should be the best option if at all you want to save in crypto

Agree with this opinion, it is too risky to invest all of the down payment on a house to invest in the cryptocurrency market. Crypto is difficult to predict when the price goes up, it could be in the next 6 months the price of crypto goes up but it can also go down. In my opinion, it's safer to invest using funds we can afford to lose so we are more relaxed
