201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swirge.com - The best alternative to Steemit? on: November 03, 2019, 01:17:27 AM
I was just going through the ANN Threads and found this ANN on Swirge Project:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5187495.0
Haven't done much research on it. But it looks like the team are adopting the same format as Steemit.com. And the rewards in posting on steemit right now is very down as steem price is down too. So is Swirge.com a new upcoming better alternative? Or just another crappy project  Cheesy
The new crypto Facebook?

In my opinion there will be many platforms like this because when a platform becomes famous, there will be followers. In my opinion, steemit is still good even though the reward has been reduced but as a tool to increase knowledge, I think it is very useful
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptonization Fail ? on: November 03, 2019, 01:13:18 AM
Starting from 2016 we have seen all kinds of ICO's and later IEO's related to almost any existing business. People tried to blokchenize aka cryptonize almost everything. Online shops, Banks, Insurance, Medical services, Tourism, Real estate, Social media, Cannabis e.t.c.... e.t.c.... and even prostitution, gays and lgbt.... Some of them used ERC20 tokens and smart contracts and some of them created new altcoins. 99.9% of them failed because all that businesses are already established with fixed rules and managed by specially educated employees aka qualified managers. Nor of that businesses needed so called crypnonization. Also nor of them needed a new payment instruments like bitcoin or any other altcoin. Typical example of that are some banks that tested XRP which was developed especially for them, but finally all of them refused to use it. Someone will say that some online shops, bookmakers and casinos are accepting bitcoins, but the amount of such adopters is critically low. OK, blockchain technologies are used officially in some countries like Georgia, Estonia, and few others for storing some public data and cryptocurrency is officially recognized and taxed, but others are still very suspicious towards blockhain and crypto in general. Despite all this, dozens of new, completely unknown crypto projects, with some crazy ideas are appearing on the market almost daily. (Check "Recently Added" on coinmarketcap) Why am I posting all this? Because any educated economist who will see this situation will ask a simple question: Are all crypto projects listed on coinmarketcap used for speculation purposes only ? That is my question too.

In my opinion, all investments in any form, whether stocks, gold, or crypto including bitcoin are speculations. We know that no one expected bitcoin or ethereum the price would go up because at the beginning it was created, bitcoin had no price and in my opinion because it was speculation that the price of bitcoin could reach $ 20k because there was no underlying behind bitcoin.
This also applies to stocks, when we buy shares, maybe we buy because of good financial performance, but no one is able to predict the financial sustainability will last long or not.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to prepare for long term HODL on: November 02, 2019, 09:13:21 AM
I think, if we want to invest for the long term, what needs to be prepared is research and mentality. With research, we can find good projects and are fully supported by a solid developer team. With a strong mentality, we must be able to be patient when prices move quickly and not easily panic when coin prices fall
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! SO MANY PROJECTS !!! What 's going on ? on: November 02, 2019, 09:06:45 AM
There are no good projects this year. Most projects are scam and run away from this market after a period of operation
The market now has filled with scams and most of the projects are turning out to be a failure. Coming to the new projects, the investors are no longer interested in investing in them due to the lack of faith and trust issues. In fact, most of the investors now are making their way back out of the market. Let's see how long this scenario will prevail in the market...
The reason is obvious. People are going crazy about the digital market and want to become rich like bitcoiners. Now good altcoins and specifically bitcoin are not cheap assets. So people want to get a lot out of little. This greedy nature is the main reason behind falling a victim for scams. It is best to  play the safe game. With this fact that scams are increasing, all investors should focus on old coins only.
While I think that most investors should stay away from icos that does not necessarily mean that all investors need to stay away from them, there are good investors out there that can distinguish between the scams and the real projects, if you have that skill then you can safely invest in icos knowing very well you can pick the right coins most of the time, but that is not something your average investors can do and their only hope of avoiding investing in scam icos is to not invest in icos at all.

Not all ICOs are bad, ICO names are bad because of the many scams that occur but I think it is unfair to assume that all ICOs are scams. Even though the market is currently in a less than good condition, there are several new projects that are conducting ICOs and are able to achieve sales targets. But if we hesitate to invest in ICO, we can invest in IEO. At present there are many alternatives to invest and we should do research first
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 02, 2019, 09:03:38 AM
Aside from monetary incentives in crypto, I rarely come across discussions pertaining to why the average enthusiast in crypto is involved with crypto. While the answer may be pretty straightforward, there are some outliers.

Crypto means much more than just monetary incentives, it's essentially a technical revolution that has involved the masses, something you and I can be apart of. Ultimately, that's probably one of my greatest interests for blockchain and crypto. Another big intrigue for me is the evolution of blockchain tech in itself. I've been around for quite sometime and have witnessed the evolution of cryptos, businesses, behaviors and attitudes.

These 2 factors, along with several others, are the reasons I continue to be involved on a community and business level with crypto. It's become a hobby, passion and business for me.

I was involved in crypto because of my interest in new investments. As a new and alternative investment market, cryptocurrency can provide huge benefits if we choose the right coin. I think the potential in the cryptocurrency market will attract many investors and this is marked by the start of regulation of several exchangers.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO not forced you to hold their token on: October 28, 2019, 07:52:56 AM
I know binance is the most popular exchange, but binance and other exchanges such as okex, huobi, ...and  others forced you to hold their token to participate in IEO, so i list exchanges do not forced you to buy token.
What you think about this exchanges, do you suggest it?
If you do not suggest it, or think it is not good let me know the reason?

lattoken
probit
lbank
p2pb2b
coineal
vindax
exmarket
Finexbox
Sistemkoin

This what i know, you also can add exchange not forced you to buy token not listed here.
Some of this exchanges i use it, and some of it i did not.

Maybe some of the exchangers above do not require the use of token exchangers, but the returns obtained are also not like exchangers like Binance or Huobi. Some large exchangers require using native tokens due to large demand and I think this is reasonable because each exchanger has its own rules
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 28, 2019, 07:49:33 AM
Point is to understand more about the scope of crypto, about trading in the bourgeoisie, looking for a variety of knowledge about investments, so that we are enough to be able to know which crypto investments are indicated by scams, so don't be lazy to keep digging inside the crypto to avoid fake projects

Agree, besides the knowledge factor about the project we will invest in, we must also be able to control our emotions when choosing a project. One of the factors why we are often exposed to scams is greed and the desire to get profits in quick time.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fair Value on: October 28, 2019, 07:44:56 AM
Hello,

I am creating this topic to understand is it possible to achieve the fair value while trading (crypto, gold, derivatives...)? I am conducting a research at the moment, because its crazy how market can go up and down, and (after all) there are some trading strategies named 'The Fair Value Trading Strategy' like this one: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/fair-value-trading-strategy-explained-153843774.html and definition from Zacks (https://finance.zacks.com/difference-between-premarket-futures-fair-value-10349.html) ''fair value is the futures rate before market opening adjusted for purchasing shares at the opening.''

So, my question is - do you know some platform or solution which can assist us to find out when the ''fair-value'' trading moment is? Or, does anyone has some tip? Advise needed. Thanks!

Maybe I'm wrong, in my opinion the definition of fair value is the balance of prices after there is demand and supply in the market. Price balance or fair value will occur when the market is in an active condition and also a large transaction volume.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: October 28, 2019, 07:41:53 AM
I feel cheated ... but the fact that every project that promises or claims tokens will eventually increase at a very high price is just nonsense ...
in a statement on the road map they promised to use project funds for further product development, but they were only trying to take advantage of the investors' black money ...
what they have to do is develop their product further, not just start doing it or say all the sweet promises ...

maybe it's one of the things they have to reconsider, if their project wants to be successful and the project product can be sold out in the market ...
I hope I'm not mistaken about this.

I think events like this are experienced by many people. Investors hope that their investments can produce good products and are able to generate revenue for the company but because the developer team is not responsible, makes investor confidence lost and makes ICO or IEO not very attractive to investors
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: October 27, 2019, 03:10:14 AM
I don’t participate in campaigns that initially requires KYC. But now this requirement is founding in almost every bounty. It’s worse when after several weeks or months after work the team requires you to go through KYC.Even worse, when the KYC is rejected as a reason for the allegedly poor quality of the photo. And  after then really pity for the time and efforts that are spent of the project and personal data too.
if for bounty campaign i think is normal because to minimze scammer join and take part on the campaign, i'm really prefer to send my personal identity to trusted Bounty Management Service (if the team project hire them), because I feel more secure in the security of my identity

Bounty campaigns sometimes need to eliminate participants who commit fraud by doing KYC and I also often do KYC on some bounty campaigns that I follow. Sometimes the KYC process makes us worry, but in my opinion there is nothing to worry about as long as the company is good because they will maintain the confidentiality of the data
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance could be Wash Trading Latest Statistics Show on: October 27, 2019, 03:06:21 AM
interesting catch, ya i think its pretty normal
im not a big trader, is there anything bad that can come from this?
i know whales can use it to make market moves, but thats just part of the game, no?
remember most normal market manipulation is not illegal in crypto, YET : /

Agree, things like those shown on the chart are normal because of many factors. It could happen because of a wrong trader input buy order or sell order. Even in the stock market, things like this often happen and this is something normal
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL Initial Coin Offerings are Trash on: October 27, 2019, 03:03:19 AM
The number of scam cases is certainly the biggest factor that makes investors afraid to put their money in ICO, now it is too difficult to get a good ICO like 2017 so investors prefer to buy top rank coins like bitcoin, ripple, dash and so on.

The number of ICO scams that occur will affect investor confidence in investing and this also has an impact on new projects that want to raise funds. But with IEO, a good new project will definitely go this way because it is equally profitable between the investor and the developer team.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO exchanges not required KYC on: October 27, 2019, 02:59:41 AM
I like the cryptocurrency due to the privacy, i do not like to send my IDs to anyone even if it is popular and trusted websites, requesting KYC to participate in IEO is against privacy why i have to send my ID to participate in IEO!!
Most of exchanges launched their IEO platform required KYC.
Is there any exchanges run IEO and do not required KYC.

Exchangers actually do not need KYC if we only open an account to buy or sell, but if we want to participate in IEO, exchangers require KYC to comply with regulations. Actually there are other advantages to KYC at exchangers, we can withdraw funds with a higher limit and I think we need not be afraid to do KYC for reasons of our data security because the exchanger will not dare to sell data because it is bound by data security regulations
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular on: October 26, 2019, 11:40:02 AM
Cryptocurrency has become the major source of livelihood for many,  especially in developing countries.  Bounty-huntingf,  freelance gigs and full-time positions are part of the benefits it has brought to many,  lifting many out of abject poverty, especially in countries with high rate of unemployment.

Agree, for some people in several countries, Cryptocurrency provides the opportunity to earn extra money in various ways. Bounty, airdrop, faucet and even mining are some of the factors that can lift the economy of many people in several countries
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 26, 2019, 11:33:41 AM
maybe more crypto investors from continental Europe and America. but actually Asia is the biggest market for crypto because it has the most populous countries like China, India and Indonesia. and more importantly, Asia also has fairly stable internet access at the moment, unlike Africa which is still having trouble getting to the internet. many business models that can be applied there, especially in the financial sector such as payment instruments. but why the reality isn't what I imagined. at present crypto is only a notion and there is no real use that can really be applied to crypto except investment.

many think it's all because of the Regulation, but I don't think so. Regulations can be changed and there are currently no regulations that actually prohibit crypto. so this is not the main reason.

then what do you think?

In some Asian countries, regulation is not an important issue because crypto has been treated like a commodity. I agree that Asia will probably be in the forefront of the cryptocurrency market, especially yesterday President Xi has said he will adopt the blockchain to advance his country
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter? on: October 26, 2019, 11:30:24 AM
Some people have been bounty hunters for a long time (e.g, for the past 2 or3 years) and till now, they are still on the act of hunting for more altcoins.
It is true that the reward hunters now get is so small compared to what was obtainable 2 to 3 years ago and not only that, it now takes more time to be paid than it was. So, instead of complaining, why not through some of the experience you have got, since your sojourn in the crypto space, explore other means through which you can earn more and fill your portfolio.

N.B:
This might be like  a vital information. There are lots of projects that did bounty campaigns (although not all), which have decided to extent the time of payment of tokens to their bounty participants. Whose tokens are growing tremendously after listing on exchange. Which means that traders and investors of projects like these get their profits before bounty hunters are paid.

DISCLAIMER:: Although, this is not an investment advice, but an observation, which i have decided to call your attention to.

I think some bounty hunters are already thinking ahead by placing the bounty token into several coins that look potential. Bounty hunters who have long had an investment portfolio and not just rely on bounty tokens because the bounty conditions are not as good as before
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A million altcoins on: October 21, 2019, 01:04:03 AM
There will be bigger problems right now if altcoins never existed, i think altcoins are been born to walk along side with bitcoin as the supporters, its just that bad coins are making it hard for other good altcoins, in time many of them will die and all we need is patience
patience and it is important to make the right choice. if you bought a lot of shitty coins that are destined to die, then your patience will die with every drop in the price of these coins
if we must avoid buying shitcoin in market if we survive in market.only good coins that worthed to buy, usually in top 20 coinmarketcap.if we don't carefully analyze altcoin, this will be a big problem for us. portfolio value will be reduced a lot if we buy shitcoin in large enough quantities. in some cases we've heard the news, that someone is willing to sell his house just to buy bitcoin or altcoin.

Agree, not all coins are worthy of long-term investment. Many altcoins which are pump and dump projects or their developer team are no longer actively communicating with their communities about the development of projects or products produced. To be safer, indeed I think the top 20 is a good choice because of the liquidity that is always available in the market
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptocurrencies Predicted to Dominate the Market in 2020 on: October 21, 2019, 01:00:28 AM
Well!! As you all know currently crypto is down, cryptocurrencies are not performing as expected. Moreover, various crypto influencers like Mcafee and others predicted particular coins as per their potential in the crypto market.

2020 is near.. knowing the top 10 cryptocurrencies in 2020 is very important which will benefit the traders to overcome problems.

What do you think?
Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum are still in there. As expected to the major one. And there are new, how I wonder how could they possibly be grinding with today's market.

As I see Bitcoin will be dominating the market this year. As financial crisis are now happening in different countries. Troubles like this will be a big opportunity for crypto community to be absorb by those who are in crisis as we seen to Venezuela. Government starts to recognize the potentiality of crypto to help the community somehow about the crisis. Argentina as well.

In addition to the three coins, there are several coins that I think are potential to be stored in the long run. Like BNB Coin or EOS, it looks like it has a potential that is profitable and with the continuous development of its developer team, I think both coins can be a good choice
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: October 21, 2019, 12:57:22 AM
Quit underestimating wallets and figure out how your wallets works either its ETH erc20 based wallets or multi walllets, you lose your private keys or recovery seeds you lose your coins and tokens,I was in a gathering on message when somebody posted his private key guaranteeing he didn't get an airdrop tokens,I wonder what may have transpired as of now,its like some still don't have the foggiest idea how genuine there wallets recovery seeds and private keys are, quit playing with wallet private keys and take them more serious like you doing with your bank account.

Yes, this often happens. Even though seed words or private key are the most important thing to open a wallet that we have. Without that, we can lose the coins or tokens that we have. Better to keep the private key in a place that is not connected to the internet
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) platforms + profit statistics on: October 21, 2019, 12:52:59 AM
IEOs are only worth in famous and big volume exchanges because people are hunting for it.
But IEO that held in small exchanges or new exchange that will be just crashed the token's price.

Based on existing experience, IEO from large exchangers is indeed more profitable. Unlike the IEO from a smaller exchanger which sometimes the price falls directly below the IEO price when the initial listing or is unable to provide maximum profits to investors
