241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Answers on: October 07, 2019, 06:37:29 AM
Someone send me a message asking me that how will i know when if bitcoin will go up or down when trading? and is trading based on luck? when i decide to answer the question openly, trading is risky as well but you can indeed limit your loss if you know when to trade.

1. When to trade
I belief that the best time to trade is right when bitcoin recovery takes place, the moment price stability occurs is another good time for trading or when price start surging.

2. How to trade
Actually in trading you need to put aside your greed, once greed gets over you losses will follow, limit your daily trading too or you will open door to losses, trade twice a day is enough, always use low amount when trading, do not trade with big amounts, slow trading wins the race.

i am not perfect as well and i have lost some money in trading before i figured this out on my own and it works for me.

I think it's hard to explain good trading methods because everyone has different analysis and how to read markets. In my opinion there is no strategy or analysis that is sure to provide profit because every analysis can be wrong. But with that mistake, we can learn from experience and develop better strategies
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 07, 2019, 06:33:58 AM
Scam or not the ICO project must be based on authentic evidence, it cannot just be based on rumors or FUD. There are several parties who spread FUD with the intention that the price of the token falls and they can buy it cheap or indeed from competitors who want to bring down a rival project. Also in this crypto world almost everything is money oriented, sometimes we don't care about the validity of a project.

I agree, FUD about many scam projects has hampered many new projects in sales. Regulations from the government should be issued quickly to prevent scammers from happening and to maintain investor confidence in the cryptocurrency market. If there are government regulations, then investors will get legal certainty
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs really DEAD or simply cleared a path for better projects? on: October 06, 2019, 12:04:47 PM
This is the reality of todays market. 20 percent of all projects that are published on ANN and Bounty threads are going to collect their soft cap, a half of them will run away with your money, another 49 percent will drop in price and only one percent of all those projects will bring you something.

Agree, only a few new projects can survive amid a lot of negative news and a decline in the cryptocurrency market. Maybe the ICO is not completely dead but the interest of investors to join the ICO is declining even though in my opinion there are several ICOs that look potential and can sell their tokens on target
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 06, 2019, 12:01:17 PM
Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins

Wepay or Alipay is different from bitcoin or other cryptocurrency because basically Alipay or Wepay is fiat money in digital form. I think bitcoin is difficult to be used as a payment instrument to replace fiat money due to regulatory constraints but as a digital asset, I think the opportunity for bitcoin is huge.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 06, 2019, 11:57:39 AM
I have been in the crypto world since a long time but i have not been able to make my portfolio and never earned anything...i dont have much cash that i can buy many different coins....i have only 0.01 btc right now Embarrassed
Please tell me ways if there are any to earn some different types of altcoins to slowly build up my portfolio with some valuable coins...

The fastest way to increase the value of our portfolio is by trading. But it must be remembered that trading carries a high level of risk and before trading, we must understand market movements to make a profit
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance delisting trading pairs on: October 06, 2019, 11:54:19 AM
Here we go again, binance exchange decided to delist 30 different types of trading pairs on its platform and six of those trading pairs involve tokens launched on Binance Launchpad Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) platform, namely BitTorrent, Elrond, Harmony and WINk.
The trading pairs are mostly TUSD and USDC pairs and Binance claimed that the pairs were being removed to improve liquidity and user trading experience and that the choice of trading pairs was as requested by most project teams.

Why would the project teams want such? what am i missing here? anyone?
Read the full news through the link below
https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-delists-trading-pairs-some-include-tokens-from-its-launchpad/amp

It may be delisting in some stablecoin pairs because of the many types of stablecoin so that binance may decide to concentrate on just a few stablecoin pairs. This is only delisting in stablecoin pairs and not in delisting tokens, in my opinion normal thing
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: October 05, 2019, 08:00:40 AM
if I think personally a safe way to invest in cryptocurrency is :

1. the project runs according to the roadmap and whitepaper that has been made;
2. cryptocurrency that we invest in already has a product;
3. the team always updates about the progress that is happening in the project that we invest;
4. invest in project that are in the top 1-500 in coinmarketpcap (have a high volume);
5. the project we want to invest has been running for a long time (if I personally never invested in a new project), because investing in new project has a greater risk than we invest in old project.

I agree that a safe way to invest in cryptocurrency is to buy tokens or coins that have large liquidity and are traded at large exchangers. Liquidity describes the active movement of investors and we can sell at any time if we need
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: October 05, 2019, 07:57:31 AM
It was a great piece of information thanks for sharing. I  believe bounty and airdrop can help you to earn crypto but before starting any campaign analysis things first from a trusted site as there are many bounty available that won't pay.

Bounty and airdrop are the choices of many people because they are easy to do. Even though it's free, bounty isn't actually completely free because to get tokens, we have to help market the project through various forums or social media.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: October 05, 2019, 07:53:47 AM
It will be big bad news for crypto space entirely if eth replace bitcoin because crypto space will lose many investors, i belief many investors are into crypto because of bitcoin only even big well known organizations trust bitcoin only, so it will be bad for long time, bitcoin has the highest marketcap presently just imagine what will happen if that vanished

Investors must think practically, that is, follow what looks profitable. It could be that ethereum replaces bitcoin because the market moves very dynamically even though it is difficult to happen. In the past people thought Yahoo was a big company that was hard to beat but what happened now Yahoo became a company that was sold
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If regulation never comes on: October 05, 2019, 07:50:44 AM
If regulation never come anytime sooner can we protect ourselves? how can we protect ourselves from crypto monsters hiding in disguise, especially bounty projects coming into crypto space with full force, any ideas ? I know many are going to say we should do better research before promoting projects, is there any strict blows we can give these monsters by ourselves ?

Bounty is part of marketing, if the sale of tokens has not been regulated, I think it is difficult to regulate the bounty. Bounty and token sales are one entity and if the token sale is regulated, I think the bounty will be regulated
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artificial intelligence can be dangerous on: October 02, 2019, 05:48:25 AM
Artificial intelligence or AI can ruin humans life if they have been progammed perfectly like a human or better than human, most of us don't have idea of what are the risk that can be take if AI became better and better in the future. Scientist provides AI to lessen the human work. They can cook different kinds of foods but what if they have same intelligence to human,this might be happen:they can tolerare human or forcely do thier task or they can force human to become thier slave.

Because AI is programmed and created by humans, I think AI will not interfere with human life, instead it helps the work that humans find difficult to do. Like work that requires high precision, AI can do this job perfectly compared to humans who have high errors rates
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Important Is It To Create An Announcement Thread For New Startup? on: October 02, 2019, 05:45:18 AM
I'm fairly new to Bitcointalk. I was wondering how crucial is it to create an ANN Thread for a new startup on here?

Is there a large Bitcointalk community that engages with the new startups who make ANN Threads?

I'm currently managing a bounty campaign for a new startup on here, and I was wondering if the ANN Thread would give the startup more exposure?

Any feedback would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!

This forum has a very large member or community and certainly has an interest in investing in the cryptocurrency market. The new project will definitely want to introduce the project to everyone and this forum is the right tool to introduce new projects to the right community.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: September 30, 2019, 08:41:06 AM
If I need to use a USD stablecoin, my personal preference is USDC.
Personally, I prefer USDT over USDC, even though they are both stable coins than USD, I prefer USDT,
and it's certainly very safe to use in trading on any exchange.

USDT has been traded longer than USDC but in my opinion the two tokens are the same because they have a liquidity guarantee every time they mint new tokens. In my opinion, choosing between USDT or USDC is about our trust in liquidity
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not a "store of value" or "medium of exchange" ... on: September 30, 2019, 08:37:33 AM
then what is bitcoin?  A solution in search of a problem?

If it's not a store of value or a medium of exchange, then bitcoin can be categorized as a commodity or digital asset. Even gold has been categorized as a commodity even though we know that gold has been known for thousands of years as the safest asset
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should the libra project be halted? on: September 29, 2019, 04:59:41 AM
How can we trust Libra if the social site Facebook is spying on us? Remember the logging in of 50million accounts on facebook incident? Are you not confuse, how suddenly there's a breached in the system? Or more like it they trying to monitor some potential threat on their company. I guess it's all facebook doing and not an error alone. Libra has now become a mainstream and trending project but most crypto society is frying out its development even its platform capability.

It's hard to trust the security of our funds in companies that have spied on their users like Facebook. But the idea issued by Facebook about Libra Coin provides a perspective that transactions can be easier and cheaper.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: September 29, 2019, 04:56:25 AM
Since Cz released information about lending on Bnb I have released and also the last IEO that I participated in has suffered a great loss. it is enough as my learning to be careful in having altcoin as a portfolio. although indeed the current development is quite good binance

Altcoin does have a greater risk than Bitcoin because not all altcoins are good and have great liquidity. But in my opinion the current price of BNB Coin under $ 20 is an opportunity to buy and accumulate because I think BNB Coin has the opportunity to reach the highest price again
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: stick to the same option or switch to another option? on: September 29, 2019, 04:53:02 AM
These are thinking of the newbies that will enter the cryptoindustry. They thought that they can have more profits and income if they joined business related to crypto, but the truth is isn't easy at all as they say. Could be easy for some, but that needs a long over of experience especially in trading. Dont ever joined ponzi scheme that related in crypto, surely you'll bleed out once you realize it isnt worth any time and investment at all.

It's better to avoid the ponzi scheme or money games because of the high risk. It's better to invest in altcoin that already has a product with a large transaction volume in the exchanger. Altcoin which does not have liquidity in my opinion will only bring losses, it's better to leave
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is China ahead of US now in terms of digital adaptation? on: September 29, 2019, 04:49:59 AM
Actually base in what China doing then they really take risk here in crypto like they do invest or business here but this are worldwide so it so hard to monitor who really use this the most then different country are here using cryptocurrency so adaption is non-stop like all really will know or use this in the future like they will accept this even there's a negative things about this

In my opinion the Chinese government does not take risks because it only changes their economic systems to become more digital. The cryptocurrency they make is still controlled by the central bank, so I think this is just another form of digital money
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Facebook's GlobalCoin on: September 28, 2019, 06:42:23 AM
GlobalCoin is coming. What are your thoughts on this new Facebook-made altcoin? What have you heard about it?

Share your first impression!
Of course it has a very good impact on the cryptocurrency market. As we know that Facebook is a big company, if they have seen the potential of cryptocurrency. Then most likely other big companies will overtake making their respective currencies with the unique utility of what they offer. The bright future of us will come shortly!!

Facebook is a multibillion dollar company and is traded on the stock market with the best reputation in the world. I think if Facebook issues Libra Coin, investor confidence in the cryptocurrency market will increase and will also invite large investors to trade on the cryptocurrency market.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the future ?? on: September 28, 2019, 06:38:14 AM
This year; ieo unfolded.

It was supposed to surpass ico and be a better crowdfunding method; but it has gone cold faster than ico did.

If you compare Your experiences too; between altcoin and bitcoin; you would notice that

1. Altcoins are so many; that they replace one another.
If an old altcoin dies
New altcoins will replace them and old one will be forgotten... It goes on and on

2. Bitcoin has maintained its class and importance;

Is it that bitcoin is the only hope for the future ??

In my opinion, Bitcoin is currently still a major factor affecting the cryptocurrency market. Investors still put confidence in Bitcoin and maybe this is why the dominance of bitcoin in the market is still very high. When later there is an altcoin that has a product and is also able to gain investor confidence, I think the dominance of bitcoin will continue to decrease
