62  Economy / Speculation / Square Adds Bitcoin Buying for More Cash App Users on: January 31, 2018, 07:05:06 PM
And they have added it back again.

https://www.coindesk.com/square-adds-bitcoin-buying-cash-app-users/

The integration of Bitcoin into applications and processes will continue to grow worldwide. Or they can sit on the sidelines and watch their competitors overtake them.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin.Bitcoin.Bitcoin!!!!!!!!! on: January 30, 2018, 06:38:35 PM
Today one should also take into account the current bad condition of bitcoin, which is associated with its hanging transactions and high commission fees. Because of this, many investors bypass bitcoin and invest in various altcoyins, which, given their small value in the total yield a good profit. If bitcoin in the near future does not eliminate its shortcomings, then its popularity can fall significantly, which will also significantly affect if not on the fall of its rate, then at the braking of its price growth.

The transaction fees and times to process transaction have dramatically reduced in the last 10 days. Transaction fees and times are no longer an issue with Bitcoin. All altcoins are dropping in value with Bitcoin as well if you check CMC.

64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Transaction fees going down~ on: January 30, 2018, 02:50:14 AM
Looking at the graph below from https://dedi.jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#30d the transaction fees have dropped significantly. Not exactly sure how to read this chart though.

This is true, there has been a decrease although not significant.
2 day ago i sold my bitcoin with a transaction fee of 0.0011 or about $ 12.94, and today i sell my bitcoin with transaction fee of 0.001 or about $ 11.76.

It depends what you are willing to pay. The lower you pay, he longer it will take but the transaction fees are very low right now if you are willing to wait a few hours. If you use Setwit wallet, you can even send it without transaction fees.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could drop 80% due to possible tether fraud, experts say on: January 30, 2018, 02:45:18 AM
More and more doubts are being cast regarding Tether being actually backed by real dollars. If it turns out not to be the case, then bitcoin might crash hard, experts say: https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/911293/Bitcoin-price-crash-cryptocurrency-tether-Bitfinex-dollars-market-investors-value-latest

Is that all you do daily? Spread fud to support your SHORT on BTC? BTW, express.co.uk is a terrible gossipy webisite and not at all reliable.

Who cares about Tether going down? Those who own BTC will continue to own it and can convert to fiat at anytime.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward trend after 1/26/18 CME expiration? on: January 27, 2018, 11:44:20 PM
The trend is away from the Bollinger band which means its not going to drop steeply any further. Divergence is going back to 0 and above indicating a strong possibility that price will rise. Other supporting indicators include MACD going to head over EXP, this same is indicated by the CCI which is going to go into positive territory. BTC has consolidated quite a bit. Buy now while its cheap!

67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Momentum Proves Weak OR Rising to 14,000$ on: January 25, 2018, 09:55:51 PM
I don't think technical analysis work now. Bitcoin price is now affected by news and rumors and also the whales. Sudden rises and falls is not normal. We should wait until every thing become normal again.

TA (technical analysis) has always been a one sided coin (pun intended) since FA (fundamental analysis) appears to affect Bitcoin significantly.
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: Transaction fees going down~ on: January 25, 2018, 09:49:24 PM
Using the segwit wallet did make quite a bit of difference as compared to the legacy. I think this whole fiasco of high transaction fees would have helped by forcing people to move their funds into Segwit wallet and use that going forward. I hope Coinbase and other exchanges get started with segwit as soon as possible as well.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is currently losing money on bitcoin? on: January 25, 2018, 09:35:09 PM
Everybody is. Bitcoin is money, if its value drops, then you are losing money.

If Bitcoin is money and you still have the same number of Bitcoins, then you have not lost your money. HODL!!!
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: And another one stops accepting bitcoin payment on: January 24, 2018, 10:54:30 PM
Burger king also accepts BTC as payment

Of course not. Who is going to pay $60 fee for a $6 hamburger? Or wait hours to see if the payment even went through?
The fact that Bitcoin payments and holdings aren't covered by insurance is already a risk businesses or even individuals need to consider... I don't blame businesses that try to keep safe..

Well, unlike credit cards, Bitcoin does not have charge backs using which payment processors sting the merchants with fines on top of already lost funds. This is one of the primary reasons that many little merchants have started accepting Bitcoin because when an order does come through with Bitcoin payment, it can be processed as soon as the  number of confirmations are met without any worry of fraud.

72  Economy / Speculation / Re: And another one stops accepting bitcoin payment on: January 24, 2018, 01:56:46 PM
SHORTY, there may be 10 who started accepting when one has stopped. Overall the adoption is growing, not reducing.

How's that SHORT going? Hard work having to spread FUD to keep it going?

Here are a few who do accept Bitcoin:

Subway
Newegg
CheapAir
Expedia
Reddit
Microsoft
Dynu
Bloomberg
Braintree
Rakutan

BTW, the mempool is improving which should improve transaction confirmation times and fees. In fact, if people would just start using Segwit capable wallet they can cut their fees in half and Coinbase is working on implementing Segwit to resolve transaction times/fees.

73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: cryptocurrency that you think is a good long term investment. on: January 23, 2018, 11:04:48 PM
Okay give me suggestion for cryptocurrency that you think is a good long term investment. Something with a strong team, providing an actual important service/solution, an overall extremely credible. suggestions also welcome. Just value must rise.

So you have pussied out on your own topic? Clearly you are SHORT on BTC and creating a FUD to influence peope. OMG, you and your ridiculous predictions.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: The target of bitcoin lays between 40k and 100k USD on: January 23, 2018, 04:20:16 PM
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/YRZvdurN-The-target-of-current-bubble-lays-between-40k-and-110k/

Any thoughts / opinions on this TA? Sounds plausible.
I assume none of us have seen a real bubble til now: trillions of dollars.

If things were to go along TA considering a sideways movement with shrinking BB for a while, the point it breaks out of the BB we can expect a sharp rise. Going from 15k to 40k is nothing for Bitcoin. Also, its not like someone has to pay 25k for every single Bitcoin in existence to make this happen, its just the volume of the day. Any news hype can make this happen, for example Walmart accepts Bitcoin or some famous company issues ICO and so on. In fact, if Bitcoin just goes past 16k, it should be enough to start of a frenzy of buyers hoping to make a quick buck.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Theory on the real cause of today's chaos on: January 22, 2018, 09:59:42 PM
We are going to see quite a bit of sell offs till Chinese owners of Bitcoin sell out and China altogether leaves the crypto world behind.

The Chinese government is working towards the removal of crypto from their world and all of those sell offs will come around bit by bit.

https://www.coindesk.com/china-moves-to-crack-down-on-digital-currency-pyramid-schemes/

On top of that now IMF is involved with crypto and they will surely do their best to screw around with it because otherwise their cushy jobs will be lost along with the enslavement of all the countries with their paper based loans.

https://www.coindesk.com/imf-calls-for-international-cooperation-on-cryptocurrencies/

This will be the year of crypto vs regulations. Crypto cannot be beaten...it will split into a thousand pieces like bubbles and rise to the top.
77  Economy / Speculation / Not only Bitcoin but all crypto are down today! on: January 22, 2018, 09:22:32 PM
All of the crypto are down today, not just Bitcoin. Looks like a certain amount of selloff causes panic and makes all noobs dump their hands resulting in what we see today. Ripple is down big time so this is not like some banks are orchestrating this or something.

I guess one more day in the world of crypto which recently has seen a whole influx of traders who are chopping waves and this results in take profits followed by cover positions. Not to mention the SHORTS.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ratings agencies soon to release crypto ratings. on: January 22, 2018, 08:58:05 PM
Are cryptos other than BTC in the futures market yet? This whole futures market thing will take a huge dump on cryptos in general with the ability to SHORT they bring along.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is the way on: January 22, 2018, 08:53:06 PM
HODL works until it doesn't work and then you're screwed.

You will live until you die, then you are screwed as well.
80  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin faces crash again. on: January 22, 2018, 08:48:16 PM
Good time to collect up and wait for the next wave~
