I'm sure you weren't. hey I point my 7970 at hashco.ws, as I'm lazy about altcoins. wish you luck

No way this is far too risky for someone in your position. Suggest you read a lot more before jumping in like that. Buy little bits of btc as and when you can. Dream up a business where you take btc for goods/services...

well we found something to agree on.  round 17 should turn a profit.

so did we  Wink. still looks good for btc profit. am just praying the loud silence from blackarrow means they're flat out working to the target.

bought an x-1 really just for the looks, knowing it mightn't make much if anything. gonna send it to the local primary school after

1147  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: List of all DyslexicZombei's low cost Miners Cooperative Group Buys on: January 23, 2014, 05:35:46 PM
Hey guys, I notice Black Arrow have just dropped the price on the Prospero X3 (R16 and R17 I believe), Pre-orders on the X3's were protected by a price promise to deliver more kit if they reduce the price before delivery date. How does that affect our shares?

Similarly I also notice that orders placed today are for end of April Delivery, does that mean BA have slipped? or are we still expecting first batch end of Feb?

it's just r17. dunno about prices. anyone?
r17 was all for the feb and into march batch

I'm not sure if I can pull the worker itself and post it if someone wants to code a BTC html page where we enter the api and it creates a chart I don't mind putting those pages up.

anyone?
1149  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How Can i Use My "ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series" Card using GUIMiner on: January 23, 2014, 11:54:06 AM
ok that's great both your cards work. don't worry about serial ports, that's for plugging things in other than gpus.

I am no altcoin expert, I point my cards at hasco.ws. there is also middlecoin. both have threads here.

these mine altcoins but convert them for you to bitcoin, and you earn more that way, until you know more about it all.

you should probably now move this thread to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0 there's a button somewhere to move thread, or start a new one

those guys should be able to start you off using cgminer --scrypt. read the scrypt-readme and gpu-readme files that come with cgminer 3.7.2 (thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0 )

2G/hs sha256 mining (bitcoin) is still not worth doing, but will convert to under 2Mh/s scrypt (most altcoins) and still earn a little  Smiley

it's full of poisonous spiders, floods, shackle-draggers, poor rugger players, forest fires, dust and flies. and if that doesn't start a 'debate', nothing will. NZ much better?

When is the Black Arrow Prospero X-3 expected to arrive? Is it still end of February?

That's right. No changes yet announced. Shipping starts end Feb and on into early March.
1152  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: List of all DyslexicZombei's low cost Miners Cooperative Group Buys on: January 23, 2014, 08:30:43 AM
(about 75-100 usd per month)

no chance of you double checking the hosting figures on these latest rounds?
1153  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How Can i Use My "ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series" Card using GUIMiner on: January 23, 2014, 06:47:48 AM
Try using Bitminter client first. It's very good to check if your gpu will hash properly. This mines for bitcoin.

Then tell us, what coin are you trying to mine?

I'm wondering if you're trying to mine doge or ltc or something, an alt coin?

Because you will not get anywhere mining for btc with guiminer on a gpu.

There is a fork of guiminer called guiminer-scrypt, and this or cgminer will get the most out of your gpu minig for scrypt coins.

edit: aaaaaaargh lets just sell these stupid finnicky irritating pathetic effing annoying tight-arsed c&ntitudinous nonsense effing jupiters. i am sick to death of them. you cant even look at them without them sulking for a week. then we start another round of hassling bob who also hates the sight of them, dz stuck in paradise and thomas gets all thomasy.

get shot of the whole sorry thing i say with my massive two shares, dunno if the maths works out, dont even give a sausage at this stage. too much hassle for the bosses too much hassle for the little guys. does not bode well for the neptune round we need those to be monsters. lets regather our energies for blackarrow, and come back to keffingnbloodyc later in the year

There is no such company. All the 1T/hs+ machines are sold out/preorders.

With Chinese holiday season upon us, even 180/200G/hs rigs would not ship for ~3 weeks.

Just buy btc
