I've finally ordered myself an X-1 from Minersource on the 26th December and paid via wire transfer on the 27th December. The money has left my account and bank has told me it should be with minersource now. I have pm'd bob and hope my status changes from balance due to complete very soon as I want to be in the first batch. Anyone else know how long it takes for payment confirmation to occur, I am from UK if it helps.
It could take several days depending on whether or not all info on wire is correct,Bobsag3 workload,holidays...ect You will be in the Mar/10 delivery time frame. There is only 1 "batch" of Minion asics at this time, just different delivery dates depending on when orders are placed. earlier orders being Feb/24 shipping, orders after Dec/12 are Mar/10 shipping date. Thanks for the info. I am very excited and cant wait. Wish I ordered sooner now, big difference in delivery. Only have myself to blame, if theres any way to get bumped up the list, let me know fyi a ba reseller is coming to town, well, Fareham. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=361692.msg4205864#msg4205864

yes, you can mine other sha-256 coins. but for 150 pounds you can't earn anything. I mean you can start mining with some usb erupters and play a little bit but you will not earn anything. If 150 pounds is all you are willing to invest then forget about it. take your wife to a nice dinner, buy her some sexy laundry... it will be much more fun then invest in some worthless mining gear.
English is not my 1st language, but don't you mean sexy lingerie lol. Sexy laundry, is how the sexy lingerie looks after the... Sorry for the off topic now it's worth it. roflmao

Thanks Franky that's what I was after.
I have had some successes and failures trading on gox. I just buy low and sell high; I don't know how to look at it scientifically. Do you know how to do that at all?
Retails a good idea. I was actually going to do that a while back with a book store. I'm just not sure there's enough demand. Bitmits shutting down.
Anyone on here have a burning need to buy something in bitcoin and not have an option? Toasters? Socks? Wigs?
I've got some random ideas: selling gifts, trinkets, crafts, arts and collectables. They're unique, so people can't simply convert your price to usd and search amazon/etsy etc. If you buy non-unique items at the cheaper end, always rewrite the catalog title Specialise to suit this market, models of lamborghinis, first editions of cryptography books, pci risers with 2 molex connectors, Also, go round your town and convert retailers to accepting btc and ltc, become the first or the best bitcoin village suburb city...
