I'm having problems either understanding how to do this, or something. I just downloaded bitminter client, and it keeps saying:

probe failed: no serial ports found.
no external devices detected.

Does anyone know what to do, or what I am missing?

What mining hardware are you trying to connect?
1463  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] UK Reassuringly expensive USB's ~ 7.8Gh/s and a laptop - now edited on: December 02, 2013, 10:04:05 PM
Currently buying 14 of these.  That leave's 3 left for purchase.  Great guy, decent price.

You are too kind.

Yes, now waiting to hear back about the last three be's and the fury.

All else sold, with many thanks.
1464  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN]#KN-R001 3TH/s KnCMiner Neptune - FREE HOSTING and 10% Deposit Credit! on: December 02, 2013, 07:46:27 PM
This GB is now LIVE again. There is now a slight price increase which I have corrected in the previous posts and at the company store.

For those who have already purchased a share I will not be increasing the amount you need to pay, the price increase is on me!

Hey that's great, thanks. Couple of q's, inevitably..

Is this now a batch 2 Neptune, or did you finesse something to keep us batch 1?

And do we get 'just' the 30 gigs, or a proportion of the rig's btc ouput?

1468  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] UK Reassuringly expensive USB's ~ 7.8Gh/s and a laptop on: December 01, 2013, 10:48:21 AM
Ok, so what have you got left and what do you want for them?

Sorry, Ratters, that this has become unclear.

I have accepted an offer of .2 for 7 be's. I think it only right that I wait for this kindly North American person to get up and confirm.

I now want commensurate offers for the 10 be's and 1 bfury.

Goodness me you're all up and about early this fine a.m.

Remember, these beauties will heat Minnesota for free, and will pull in valuable satoshis for idk how long.

Offers for all miners now within a whisker of original asking price.

Laptop up to .571

Pm'ed You.

Thank you. Pm'ed you back.

Have caught up with all pm's.

The 10+1 guy pulled out, so these are back on the table.

7 be's are under negotiation

Best offer for laptop is BTC0.55

1473  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] UK Reassuringly expensive USB's ~ 7.8Gh/s and a laptop on: November 30, 2013, 07:58:08 PM
I will offer BTC0.21 - same deal as above - but if you are selling 10 separately then I'm not interested.

Sorry, I am negotiating for 10 be's and now the blue fury for a good deal more than that.
1474  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://btcrow.com/ legit or scam? on: November 30, 2013, 07:17:37 PM
I plan to use this service tommorow and also I want to be in the Affiliate program ...
I will let know everyone how it goes ....

Any luck?
1475  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] UK Reassuringly expensive USB's ~ 7.8Gh/s and a laptop on: November 30, 2013, 05:42:14 PM
With BTC price rocketing & difficulty just going up again I'm afraid your price is far too high.

I can offer you BTC0.2 for everything except the laptop including postage in the UK.

Thank you for your kind offer.

BTC and difficulty have hardly gone up since my op.

I have had some other offers via pm, some gut-wrenchingly low, some insulting, and some fair.

Until I hear back, 10 be's are out of play.

Any more offers, anyone?

Yes my marketing stategy may have some flaws.

I hope you can get at these pics.

How do you post pics directly here?

Not every last one of the 17 block disruptors[sic] are shown, they are here behind the pc box, I'm just too old and stiff to point the cameraphone back there.

The hub with just one b.e. in is one that has largely failed since I started mucking about with pencils. takes one device only now

The other hub works great

I did mod the bluefury. It's hashing now at 2.78. This can be undone with an eraser/rubber.
I haven't touched the be's, but they can be modded...

These beasts will churn out satoshis (may become very valuable) for some time to come.
You can then sell them on ebay for a pretty penny (may not).

Proper British terms.

ps.Will also deliver today up to 2 hours drive if you pay my petrol at 40p mile from Swindon area

pps. Also a very very new MSI CX61 with the good screen and 16 rams for BTC0.829 ono, plus a good hub and little fan for negligible ammounts of sterling
1480  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Anyone interested in a UK Neptune group buy? on: November 29, 2013, 08:43:46 AM
I saw VAT (spit) on someone's UK bill for this. Hope I'm wrong.

Also there's a GB out there for one fifth of a Neptune, might suit you...
