Instead of an island, crowdfunding for a Noah's Ark ship where it circles around the world picking up bitcoiners along the way, explore the arctic, stop by amazon river mouth, organize bitcoin conferences, it loads with nitrox tanks for adventurous bitcoiners to organize coinsummit on the sea bed of cocos island while observing sharks feeding, pick up some asic rigs from china to mine onboard, etc.

Sounds like a good place since it's relatively shallow and stuff. But can we just take the territory of a former micro nation?  The problem is that none of the so called micro nations are located in the international waters. All of them are located well inside the EEZ of some other country. So there is a risk of invasion from the respective nation. I read the wiki again, and no micronation was ever established there. There however was plans on doing so. |

Here is a map of the international waters (deep blue).  Can anyone recommend me the ideal place to build the bitcoin island? I'd contribute too so on the condition i don't have to engage in any actual gardening  I think the point is to just buy the forest to preserve it. Exactly. It is nice to see that so many bitcoiners actually care about the rainforest. Now the big question is, would you actually donate money for the cause of buying some hectares (assuming there was a reliable organization that had that task)? I would, but I'm currently low on money. So not ATM. |

How do you know? Have you got 2 factor auth set up? I'd make sure you haven't got any keyloggers first and maybe boot from ubuntu. I never use ubuntu and have 2 factor auth also but both time I have email from gmail also some one from Holland trying to in my account I have no idea whats happening right now with my account I think he recommended you to actually boot from ubuntu, maybe even from a live-disk. |
