That is what a bell looks like in the game when not in a bag. Wish I could mine these since they sound cool but I won't get any progress with my GT430.

Ah yes, good idea Smiley

GT430 would probably be 10-20 khash, could get a few hundred a day at current hashrates if you pool mine. What's your bells addy? I'll send ya a few!

Rvd markets consider this fraud.. an official statement coming soon.

well, another cpu's 12 hours lost.

The guy appears to not even own the site he lists and he didn't sell anything for money so not sure what they could actually do about it.

Anyway if another dev took over the coin and changed the name + logo that would be best. Otherwise this is dead.

Soon we will have such a lot threads like this that I don't know.. maybe should it be banned at the begining?

How would they pick ban criteria? You wouldn't want to accidently ban a good coin.

+1

That is the question. I don't know the answer yet. But starting from "hello it is a fork of already existed coin with one little change" should be the start.

Then you have the issue where a coin like Quark is getting lots of hate for it being mined so fast. A version of it that is mined slower is a small change but many people would go for that.

I understand that but for example Nxt. Lots of people say Nxt is so nice concept etc but do you know that at the begining 73 people (donators) owned all 1 billion coins? So distribution is done by buying it from them for their prices. And is it fair this time?

I hate the whole idea behind NXT. But apparently 73 members of the community didn't and I am sure they have sold many of the coin to even more people. While I don't like the idea it doesn't mean it should be banned.

I like how everyone just bitches about every coin ever as being a scam. Then the moment they buy some it is the best thing ever.

Isn't this coin basically worthless? So I would say not real change.

I might try mining a few then. I take you up on a few free ones when I get home, waiting for my lab to start and wallet is on desktop. Thanks for the information!

WTS 200k RVD @0.0001 BTC
Lol it is quark clone that existed few days and you want to sell it for current quark price? Cheesy

What is sad is if the Dev didn't pretend to work for a forex trading company lots of people would have probably jumped on this, since everyone complains quark got mined too quickly.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][RVD]RVDCoin-Secure CPU only cryptographic coin on: December 05, 2013, 03:17:53 PM
Dev needs to explain why he tried to claim it was part of a company.

Who is QQJhTa5e76NQWgakv5WDDwndxGx6fdvbZ8? He has mined MANY blocks. If it's the address of a pool, cool. But if it's a solo miner with A LOT OF mining power, he may dump OR become a millionaire if the price of Quark goes even higher. He is mining a block every few seconds.

Probably coinmine.pl pool
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][RVD]RVDCoin-Secure CPU only cryptographic coin on: December 05, 2013, 05:10:50 AM
i have 5 hours mining, its imposible to mine solo right now, we need a pool.

I am still finding blocks with my ~380k quad core so pools aren't particularly needed yet, but will be soon.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][RVD]RVDCoin-Secure CPU only cryptographic coin on: December 05, 2013, 12:42:01 AM
So how many blocks have the people mining found?

Anyone gotten lucky finding a bunch on here?

Can't connect, even with all those addnodes in the first post. Any ideas?

Just leave it open a few minutes.

Support says it is not a part of that company, they have an online chat if anyone wants to ask themselves.

So either the creator was hoping with the name they would decide to put it in an exchange or the support staff don't know about it yet.

If the company isn't the creator it doesn't mean the coin is dead though, I would suggest another name though if that is the case.
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: December 04, 2013, 09:41:04 PM
If QRK has got so much attention from the media the past 24 hours, why isn't the price rising?

People spamming it as a scam scaring some people away.

We are working on the exchange for rvdcoin: http://www.rvdmarkets.com/en/

Wait so is this officially affiliated with that website? If so this coin just got much more interesting.

If they aren't you might want to rename or at least not use their logo.
