681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GBN] GABENCOIN - GABE NEWELL COINS on: January 29, 2014, 04:54:36 PM
I haven't seen my pending payment at http://gaben.coinpoolpros.com/ change in a LONG time.

Is something wrong?
682  Other / Meta / Re: It's Time For Theymos To Kill The Alt Section on: January 29, 2014, 04:47:01 PM
OP is an asshole.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=435921.0

If anything needs killed off it is his access to these forums.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCT is a Dying old war horse . Where Is everyone going? on: January 29, 2014, 05:28:39 AM
Bitcointalk does not like the Alt Coins. I say we start our own forum.

Well it is called bitcointalk Smiley

Which gets part of its value from being used to invest in altcoins as well as people watching altcoins to see if something new should be incorporated into bitcoin.

Hmmm Hashrate is still running around 120 M/hash. Not alot of growth  Undecided
Wow that is really low, probably partly due to it not being on any major exchanges.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop making shit alt-coins! It's making this forum usless. Mods do somthing pls! on: January 29, 2014, 05:21:20 AM
It is always either low post count users bitching about altcoins or it is high post count bitcoin bugs who only come to this section to bitch about altcoins.

We already vote on the ones we want my commenting and discussing the coin which keeps the threads of coins we find worthwhile high.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CAGE] CageCoin - Powered by Nicolas Cage - COINEDUP - Back from the dead! on: January 29, 2014, 05:15:35 AM
If it is actually scam it is extremely stupid. This coin has a LONG way it can go in price and the owner could have had a percentage of that for basically the life of the coin.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CAGE] CageCoin - Powered by Nicolas Cage - COINEDUP - Back from the dead! on: January 29, 2014, 12:46:12 AM
Dev needs to post more or it is going to seem like he showed up to steal coins using an "official pool" then disappear again.

690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moon Coin is going up again on: January 28, 2014, 10:02:13 PM
Suprised the people doing the mooncoin pump aren't also doing a cagecoin pump.

It has way less coins and is currently almost 1/10th the price of mooncoin. I would think it would be easy to pump and keep at a higher price.
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CAGE] CageCoin - Powered by Nicolas Cage - COINEDUP - Back from the dead! on: January 28, 2014, 09:24:06 PM
Still no access to my coins on ther official pool...

Give it time and go to another pool.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ducats - Money without banks on: January 28, 2014, 04:59:41 PM
We are happy to announce the first and official Ducats block explorer.

You can use the Ducats block explorer to find information about each block that was ever found. You can also find Ducats addresses and all transactions that have been made in the entire history of Ducats.

The block explorer can be found here:
http://blockexplorer.ducpay.com:27858/

Please note that this is for personal use only.

This is a good thing.

n0nplusultra has one user mining at 128,905KH/s getting 118,395,825.935 CAGE/Day.

I wonder if that user could be cashing out as they mine it causing the price to lower. Difficulty is going to spike if this mining rate keeps up.

i would think theyre holding them long term. There really isnt enough liquidity/demand to dump that much onto the market every day at this point

214,662,620.48222929 is the current buy at 0.00000035 and 125,515,287 is current sell at 0.00000080.

With some of the huge buy orders from earlier, saw many over 50 litecoins at multiple amounts at the same time, someone could easily have cashed out that amount today fulfilling tons of the buy orders at once.

Not saying that is what happened but it would explain the sudden disappearance of buy orders and the huge gap that appeared between buy and sell.

695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A user here threatened to multi fork Gamecoin within 24 hours. What can we do? on: January 28, 2014, 04:37:36 AM
Don't take what I said as support...I just try to stay out of his way  Wink

What happened though?  That thread doesn't really make a whole lot of sense as far as where he is coming from...was there another interaction between you two that bled over into that thread?

No, nothing else other than that.

well, in this case he will probably not do anything, if that was your only interaction with him. Perhaps he was just messing ...

After seeing this post he probably will attempt to fork it just to show off.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CAGE] CageCoin - Powered by Nicolas Cage - COINEDUP - Back from the dead! on: January 28, 2014, 04:27:18 AM
Most likely the current crash is people afraid after seeing the tips crash.

Cagecoin has a 1/5th as many coins as tips which is something this coin has going for it.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MTC][CPU mining] Metiscoin | new secure hashing, NO PREMINE| LAUNCHED! on: January 28, 2014, 04:23:13 AM
Anyone still mining this?
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CAGE] CageCoin - Powered by Nicolas Cage - COINEDUP - Back from the dead! on: January 28, 2014, 02:23:32 AM
The price is going to be really up and down as people find out they have some and cash out immediately. There is a reason it took days for the other billion+ coins to raise.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AnimeCoin [アニメコイン] ANI on: January 28, 2014, 12:07:27 AM
I dont believe that dev had not money for giveavays and promos.
Ani-chan, please don't be so greedy. We wait for promos.

Even if the dev has coins for giveaways it couldn't be done on these forums. Mods decided to make that against the rules.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Giveaway threads are not allowed on: January 27, 2014, 11:34:38 PM
People don't seem to understand. Essentially we are saying, we don't want your coin spam here. Take it to your own forums, Bitcointalk doesn't cater to thousands of threads about *insert coin*. We aren't motivated to keep the conversation here, so a vote wont do anything, we are trying to get you to take your conversations elsewhere.

People that are saying, FIX IT OR WE WILL LEAVE! thats kind of our intentions. Obviously we don't want people to leave the bitcoin discussion here, but we do want you to take the majority of your altcoin discussion elsewhere. This is Bitcointalk, it can't handle the alt coin discussion volume for 600 different coins, so we are asking that you take it to your own forums.

KeyserSozeMC, we are trying to get people to do exactly what you are doing. Creating your own forums for giveaways like you are doing, I actually really appreciate it.

The main point here that is irritating that people are ignoring, if we don't cut down the post spam, IE hundreds of thousands of posts of people just pasting their addresses, we will lose the entire section. I for one would like to keep the Alt Currency section, however people seem to be ignoring the fact that creating a giveaway subforum wont help. We want the excess spam off of Bitcointalk, not just jammed in a different corner.

From the original post in this thread: "Similar threads are already restricted to Games and Rounds in the non-altcoin sections, but the giveaway-related post volume is so high in the altcoin sections that I've decided to just ban them entirely here."

We don't want spam, but we allow spam elsewhere in a specific section for the spam, but we won't make a spam section here because we don't want spam.

I just love this logic......
