964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [FZ] Frozen | CPU and GPU Mining | No-Premine | Rare on: December 20, 2013, 07:41:14 AM

Same here. Never used that exchange, but will try it once this coin is added.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [FZ] Frozen | CPU and GPU Mining | No-Premine | Rare on: December 20, 2013, 02:53:17 AM
Still no exchanges?
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Craptsy, I want my damn coins! on: December 19, 2013, 02:10:25 AM
Yeah after I had my fill of bullshit about a week ago I gave up using them and switched to BTER.

Decided to try putting dogecoin in them earlier today as a test, yeah still spending deposit.

Worthless site and it it appears it is too late for many to get out now.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy preventing withdrawls on: December 19, 2013, 01:05:22 AM
Use BTER instead from now on. 10% off fees for people who sign up under referrals so you can use the one in my sig or someone elses.

Crypstsy has just been getting worse they made me over 0.1 BTC negative out of no where and it magically went away like 1 week later. So much wasted time.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XIV] Xivra launches at 20:00 CET Dec. 18th on: December 18, 2013, 07:09:21 PM
it is over 20 CET already  Grin

The Unix client is at the website. No Windows client for mass adoption means loss of time, so meh. Q&A was spot on.

Seriously why even bother without a windows client.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [FZ] Frozen | CPU and GPU Mining | No-Premine | Rare on: December 18, 2013, 07:07:22 PM
So it's about 2.5c per Frozen, or 0.000045 BTC at the moment
Sorry I find it confusing working with LTC as the denominator!

I wonder if it will go up much if/when it is added to Cryptsy..

Exchanges make people look into a coin who had never done so before. I wouldn't be surprised if it quickly reached above Quark prices when it hits an exchange.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [FZ] Frozen | CPU and GPU Mining | No-Premine | Rare on: December 18, 2013, 06:22:28 AM
Diff has hit over 2500 and rising. Coin price is also rising

Got any reply from cryptsy or coinedup yet? I would like to see what the average person is willing to pay for this coin.

Coinedup added some new coins today. Sadly not frozen.

-t #

# being the number of cores you want to use.

That might help.
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: December 17, 2013, 11:12:54 PM
Guys i want to transfer BTC to Cryptsy to buy Quark, does it's trading work properly? How long does it take to deposit?

BTER will be faster and more stable with Cryptsy it could be days if anything goes wrong. Link to BTER in my sig if you don't have an account yet referrals get 10% off fees.

975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy Warning - Glitch Detected - Buying more coins than balance should allow! on: December 17, 2013, 04:57:25 AM
There is a reason I stopped suggesting cryptsy and put BTER in my signature.

Hey 10% off trade fees for people who sign up under a referral, not that you guys aren't already signed up there  Cool
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BillionCoin - Be Billionair on: December 17, 2013, 04:52:03 AM

977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [FZ] Frozen | CPU and GPU Mining | No-Premine | on: December 17, 2013, 04:01:27 AM
Just a general comment/question since the Frozencoin.org site remains down:

Is anyone else having issues with GPU mining of FZ at the increased difficulty level? I had a system doing 5MHash/sec that at difficulty 500 seemed to be getting around 15 blocks per day. Today, I think it has found two. Best guess is that somehow smelter.exe is not working well at higher difficulty, and is somehow wasting effort. A tripling of difficulty should have resulted in 1/3 the block rate, but I'm more like 1/10 (or less on other systems). CPU mining on the other hand continues to go okay -- my systems (about 20 of them) are still generating close to 1.5K FZ per day, which is scaling pretty well with difficulty.

So basically, what I'm saying is that smelter and FZ don't look to be working properly now that we're at 1500+ difficulty. Also, AFAICT smelter doesn't work with stratum mining pools? So it's doubly useless. I think the smelter version that's being used for Frozen is different from the Quark version, which might explain the problem. And finally, despite claims to the contrary, I'm pretty sure smelter is using a fair amount of GPL licensed code. Maybe I missed something, but is it okay to have a program that has half of it's libraries GPL and then charge 10% of all mined FZ (or QRK) for it? It really needs to go open source, and more importantly it needs some better devs to handle things because right now it's very flaky.
Wait WHAT!?
you were GPU mining this coin?!?!?!
I thought this was CPU only.
The FUCK!

No wonder you had so many coins to sell me ><
Jesus christ ><

How many did he have.

GPU is solo mine only so only useful for so long.
over 10,000 Fz

I have a little over 5,000 from a shitty quadcore CPU. I just mined day of launch.

If you are new to this all together I suggest you sell your coins on BTER if possible. Crypsty just has too many problems.

Referral link: https://bter.com/ref/29371

Referrals get 10% off their fees for 6 months on BTER.

Also once you trade into bitcoin gyft is great if you are cool with having giftcards for your coins.

Memory coin has been having some mining issues, but quark should be mineable for you without difficulty.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][XIV] Xivra Launches December 15th 2013 on: December 16, 2013, 11:04:53 PM
This might be what you need if you don't feel like waiting until the official launch  Cool

https://github.com/Xivra/Xivra

I have no idea how to compile that on windows so can't do it myself. If it actually gives you a head start feel free to send me some Xivra you mine while difficulty is low.
