Would be nice if you'd be providing a link with href to the wallet downloads at your website so someone can copy it to clipboard for easy wget at his server Wink

Meanwhile, no buy support until 72 on Polo.

Noob traders freaked out after one guy did the old trick of selling a big chunk of coins into his own buy wall. (educated guess)

I think you've shown your hand my friend. It's obvious to me your early trolling was to edge the price down as you invested. Clearly you now want the price to rise. Sorry to break this to you but the reason the price is dropping is cause this coin has very little real future not trading tricks. Im not saying that to be a dick Im saying it cause there are many coins like this, better ones even with far less marketcap. If this coin deserves to be in the top 10 of market cap then Qora does too. I don't expect that to happen either.
What other coin has multisig and POI?

There are many coins with their new "EDGY gimmick" PoI, VoI, NoI, PoSV, etc etc...

30-70 sats is a realistic range for this coin especially after they doubled the supply A F T E R investors had already bought in which is just a big "Fuck you" to all those who invested, making the rules up as we went along.

I think this coins may stick around, but don;t expect more than 50-99 satd realistically, as long as your happy in this range than stick around, if you want to see a price rise, keep browsing.

doubling the supply had literally zero effect on the value of each stake because each and every stake was increased by exactly the same amount so it had no effect on anyone except the fact you see a bigger number. before the increase users had 1/4000 of all coins.. and after.. they had 1/4000 of all coins... where is the issue here?

When withdrawing from Poloniex to our wallet, is there a message we use that is in our wallet or do we use the same message we used to deposit into Poloniex?
Polo is using the message to decide to which account the coins belong to as all users are sending the coins to one xem account. When you withdraw, you don't need the message (except you have implemented the same system for some reason - but then you wouldn't need to ask this question Wink )

Well, this coin is currently not very interesting for short to mid-term investors:

1) Only minor exchanges
2) Will be recoded (as TheRealSilk said above)

=> Stagnation for the next weeks/months

There's a minor issue with the Android wallet: if you click on your address and then 'open in browser' you are seeing a page full of ads (explorer.cryptopoolmining.com).
Another problem is, that my DGB never received my Android wallet:

http://digiexplorer.info/address/DGvgbyYNMt6MSmpug9Da514m4YpwkBXL2m

You see 999DGB incoming with over 400 confirmations. But balance is still 0 Sad

Here the same with android after every sending to my mobile, need to reset the whole blockchain.
I hope they get this fix soon.
How can you reset the blockchain on your mobile?

But I think it's not a wallet issue as I see the transaction with 1600 confirmations on the blockexplorer and it's the blockexplorer which still shows 0 balance for the receiving address. I'm really wondernig what this is Huh

Very strange. The address should show a 999 balance regardless of whether you've synced the wallet or not.

Edit: I just looked further. The "transaction" was included in an orphaned block. The original sending address should still have those 999 DGB. Check the balance and transactions of the sending address. Your DGB should still be there.

That makes sense, thank you. I sent the DGB from Cryptsy and I don't see whether the 999(+1)DGB have been refunded or not. Just tried another one.

EDIT: I've resend 1k DGB and they received my mobile wallet. Then my co-worker installed the app, too. I've sent him 123DGB (Link) but they also never reached their target because the transaction is also lost in an orphaned block. But they are still away from my wallet so it seems like the coins are lost forever. Looks like a serious bug to me  Undecided
Thats really weird, I have been sending and receiving Digibytes for 20+ transactions and never experienced any problem.
Checking it again as we speak.

Send 5 transactions and all done correct.
I'm really confused. My co-worker just said the DGB are now in his wallet - even though the transaction was in an orphaned block. He is now sending 10DGB back, curious how it goes this time (riinngg, it's here Smiley )
Also, my mobile wallet shows a balance of 0 in the block explorer (Link) while the app shows the correct balance of 887DGB.

I think this issues should be resolved before we rule the world. It's still too intransparent and too less reliable for the average joe imho.

Just tried it again and i have the same issues as yesterday, i need to reset the whole blockchain after each transaction to my mobile Cool

Resetting the blockchain on my mobile didn't fix anything as the problem was more located within the network than in local blockchain copy.

Alright, we got the strange characters in some of the other languages on the wallet, the asset exchange bug with the overlay issue, and cramped text on some versions of the wallet. Anything else?

And the advanced options menu only opening on the first log in, and if you close it, it doesn't open it again and you need to restart the client to gain access to it when making a transaction.
I wasn't able to send more than 100k HZ in one transaction. When I tried, the whole client hung and I had to restart the node.

NHZ V3.8

It'll usually warn you that you are sending over 100k, you just click submit again after that.
Nope, there was no confirmation button or anything like that. However, 100% CPU load and no responsive gui.

We have a second script for an introduction to DigiByte with a professional voiceover on an animated video. What does everyone think about this one?

    Quote
Are you ready for the future of micro payments?
DigiByte is a form of currency. Similar to dollars, euros, yen, or even bitcoin but on the very cutting edge of digital technology with no central authority. DigiByte is open source, free and anyone can get involved.

Are you interested in a more secure form of payments?
DigiByte’s state-of-the-art security makes it 5 times more secure than other platforms. It even incorporates technology used to secure nuclear  launch codes.

Do you wish you could get paid faster?
DigiBytes can be sent and received anywhere in the world with an internet connection in a matter of seconds.

What if you could be part of the money printing process?
While a dollar might be sent from one person’s bank to a credit card processor to another person’s bank, DigiBytes are sent directly from person to person. You can help make this possible and receive new DigiBytes as they are created by donating your computing power to the network.

    How can I use DigiByte?
DigiBytes is helping to speed up and link merchants and consumers across the globe in a cutting edge manner. DigiBytes can even be sent over social media, helping to connect legacy business models with up and coming millennial consumers.

How can you get started with DigiByte today?
You send data in megabytes and gigabytes, why not send money in DigiBytes?
Get started with your free DigiByte wallet today at digibyte.co

The overall message sounds good. If the target audience of this video is the average joe, however, I'm not sure if "open source" as term is helping. I guess most don't know it and maybe even some uninformed see open source even more insecure than closed source...because ahhm the bad guy can see the code and find security holes more easily. At least that's my experience from talking about open source with non-techs  Roll Eyes

Next point: it doesn't become clear why someone should prefer Digibyte over e.g. Paypal. You can pay immediately, too. And in general you also don't pay extra fees as the merchants take care of it. So what's the selling point? We should take the following points in consideration:

The average joe doesn't care about...
    • ... decentralisation
    • ... how cool a technology is - he just wants to use it without any problems
    • ... technical security (as he can't validate it - the "experts" can say whatever they want)
    • ... being part of the mining process as it just costs time for him without immediate benefit

    So, what's left? I'd say:
    • no more bank account needed
    • privacy about your financial situation
    • access to your money with all kinds of devices all over the world
    • digital replacement of cash in your daily routine (no more cocaine polluted paper in your childs hand haha)
    • be your own boss! No more banks and credit card firms involved so nobody can confiscate your money nor is it gone when a firm goes bankcrupt
    • Edit: automatic reports about all your payments. No more extra work to type all your daily expenses into another banking software (=> feature request: categorizing your payments right in the wallet and daily/weekly/monthly/yearly reports)

    Just my 2 Digoshi  Wink
(damn - what's the name of the smalles DGB unit?)

edit: you're also stating "It even incorporates technology used to secure nuclear  launch codes". Do you know it? Or are just guessing? What hash (if any) is used to safe nuclear codes? I once read an article which said it was hand written on a peace of paper lol
Also I'm not sure if you want to refer to something as negative as nuclear weapons. Are there any more positive examples? Where we can be sure it uses one of digibytes hashing algorithms?[/list]
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [VNL] VanillaCoin.net [WhirlpoolX Algo] [Whitepaper Inside] [CPU/GPU] [Poloniex] on: March 10, 2015, 08:34:32 PM
I won't talk about the other points but I wouldn't advertise what's in point 5.
Having a publicly available gpu miner which can be largely optimised is not a good thing. It means only a few people will mine it efficiently.
The same happened to groestl coins: they advertised an energy efficient mining algo that in a few months became power hungry because of optimisations coming out at a fast pace. Of course some people had the faster miners almost since the beginning...
Reminds me to DRK..ahm Dash  Roll Eyes

Whatever, from my understanding the energy efficiency is within the PoS which starts at a later point. From the whitepaper reading it should be far more efficient than Peercoin and others.

then i just hope that Nhz asset exchange doesnt become place for scam assets

I don't think there have been any scam assets. Just a couple that got hacked, but that hardly makes it a 'scam asset'

maybe,.but personally i feel the trauma when want to buy an assets in Nhz asset excange
i think its time for the HZ team to be more selective in putting an asset in Hz exchange

AFAIK the asset exchange is decentralized and thus nobody has control about which assets are listed. Everybody can create his own. It's the responsibility of the user to inform and select wisely.
So it is a form of decentralized Silk road?
No, it's not a marketplace to sell any goods. It's more like decentralized NASDAQ.

too many scam asset traded in nhz asset exchange
How could such assets placed in nhz asset exchange

But you can't make anyone responsible for this but yourself. It's your responsibility to evaluate assets before investing.

Nope, you need 2 IPs as the port is static.
