Just a heads up. I can and will not answer all pms about what to do with the token and how much NEM one is going to get. This information has been spread wide and far and it's not at all hard to find. I mean the pm says NEM-Token and the people don't even bother to search for NEM in the forum ? Not understanding the process is one thing but being too lazy to do any research just sucks.
If anyone hasn't received his token or has problems registering you are very welcome to pm me or simply ask here or over at forum.nemcoin.com.

Go figure. They had nice volume with DGB and were certainly making money on those commissions. MYR is gone too, and I had a balance that is no longer showing - this has got to be wrong. How can you leave the likes of HIRO, and dump coins like DGB? No sell orders, and no buy orders anywhere? A "We do not have enough data to display this chart at the moment" error even with LTC? These guys can't be serious. What was supposed to be a 24 hour migration that took almost a week, and they re-open shop with this? I think they've seriously shot themselves in the foot. Allerdings ist das Risiko einer Nachfrage wohl eher gering. Ich hatte selbst noch nie eine Nachfrage bekommen - obwohl die 300k EUR Überweisung garantiert von der Bank gemeldet wurde - und habe auch keine Person im Bekanntenkreis, bei der das FA bei einem Kauf im Bereich 100-500k EUR neben der Grunderwerbsteuer etwas haben wollte.
Hmmm! Ich bin bis jetzt davon ausgegangen, dass bei Immobilienkäufen grundsätzlich die Herkunft des Geldes belegt werden muss. Liege ich da falsch? Nach meiner Erfahrung aus 2 eigenen Immobilienkäufen, 4 in der Verwandtschaft und 10 im Bekanntenkreis liegst Du da falsch. Bei keinem dieser Käufe kam von irgendeiner Seite die Frage nach der Herkunft des Geldes. Wahrscheinlich haben diese Leute den Kauf aber ganz normal über ihre Bank oder aus bereits auf dem Konto liegenden (und versteuertem) Geld finanziert, statt ohne Kontobewegung plötzlich auf der Wiese zu stehen  |

Pointless as it's all about the private key in wallet.dat And what if you can only enter/see the wallet.dat with 2fa? It's still pointless as wallet.dat is on your pc. If you want to change it and have a security advantage with 2fa you'd need to completely reinvent how it is dealt with the private key. Furthermore, you'd need a central authority (like google) to get a working 2fa. IMHO we won't see a reasonable 2fa on any cryptocurrency in the near future. |

Just to understand this fully: Do you have to have your wallet running 24/7 to receive the dividend or will even a coldwallet get dividends normally each day? interesting question - would like to know that as well? The wallet must be online as the sense of this bounty is not only distribution but also securing the network by a high number of nodes. |

Please can someone explain how exactly NODE forging works? I have a NODE that will run constantly. So I can optimize the forging block sending NODEs to other people?
But it is necessary to wait a while between one transaction and another? How long is the wait?

Sure, this is how it works: At the moment there are 2 primordial parameters that define which node is going to be elected: Time & Spent Volume(ammount)! at the beginning when the forging module will be set in place: your timeHeight(the amount of time that you spent online since your last connection) will be calculated by the network and compared to other nodes timeHeight. After determining the time, the second parameter will kick in and will determine the spent amount since your last login, each node will value 1unit of time - adding an extra second for each node you sent out of your account. Those will be summed acordingly and we'll get the Nodeheight = timeHeight + Units Practical example: blockgeneration time: 14:00 pm 21/09/14 Node I(icharles123) connected @ 1:00 pm 21/09/14 and hasn't made any transaction => timeHeight=3600s + 0 Units = 3600NodeHeight Node A (Mr.hotdog) connected @ 1:05 pm 21/09/14 and sent 1 node. => timeHeight=2700s + 1 Unit = 2701 NodeHeight Nodeheight 3600 > Nodeheight 2701 => Node I > Node A => Node I will generate the block! After a block is generated Node I's NodeHeight will be reseted, and the cycle will restart! Questions? Thank you for the explanation. More questions: The blocks come in what time interval? Can anyone beat the system? Like for example, I create two accounts and leave it full time online and between each block, make an transaction between them an amount of Nodes (depending on need), it will add a amount of Nodeheight (more than other accounts that are not fulltime online) making me get more blocks than normal. There are mechanisms to prevent this is not possible? THX for answers, i will keep an OP atualized. Blocks are created on demand. So if there are no transactions to confirm, no block will be generated. All transactions within 60s are bundled in one block. Until the 60s are reached, the transactions are confirmed in local memory of each node so instant transaction is working though. At least, that's how I understood the whitepaper edit: sending your coins back and forth between 2 wallets should not be profitable due to the network fees which are currently 0.35%. |

Man könnte auch einfach eine Textdatei anlegen und darin Datum, Name, Geburtsdatum, Steuer-Identifikationsnr, Wallet Adresse und Guthaben schreiben. Dann den Hash der Datei mit Hilfe von http://www.proofofexistence.com/about in der Bitcoin-Blockchain ablegen. Und schon hat man einen Beweis, dass man genau diese Datei mit den entsprechenden Angaben zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt angelegt hat und nicht im Nahhinein. 1 Jahr später hat man den Beweis, dass man eine Wallet schon 1 Jahr besitzt. Dass die Coins nicht bewegt wurden, kann man dann ja ebenfalls über die Blockchain einsehen. |
