cinni has been 99% developed by the community. it is your coin. be proud for what you accomplished. think about it. all cinnidev did was launch a coin on Easter.(instead of looking for eggs you looked for cinnicoins.) and wrote some ideas that the coin can have. it was you guys who did everything. the logos were all made by the community. the graphics in the op were made by the community. domain names, websites, multipool, twitter accounts, facebook account, were all made by the community. cinni is the first coin with anonymous encrypted messaging and innovative invoicing system. that was also made possible because of the community. you guys found the developer capable of making encrypted messaging and people in the community paid him to do it.
i think cinni is a good coin because of that. in the future i'm gonna buy some.
I wouldn't say it that way. Dev (and his team) was and still is working very hard. They implemented all that promised features and are working on their vision of a perfect coin for merchant adoption. So the majority of respect belongs still to dev. And many thanks to all that contributed

Are people concerned about trading DGB at Mintpal due to the security issues? Are you suggesting more volume would be trading if there were no issues? YC If only we'd be on Bittrex... Mintpal's volume is going down hard.
that is because BITTREX holding all the volume and people moving to other exchanges... We have to get DGB on POLO and BITTREX ASAP. Overall volume at MP is decreasing. Guess MP isn't enough hip anymore as all 24/7 traders are going to bittrex which is adding new coins very quickly (too quick for my taste - every scamcoin)

with 1500btc the current cap is $1million
...which is only 15% of the total as 1500btc are targeted through the 15% IPO.

Looked at the promo video and was excited. Then read the coin specs and was getting disappointed (scrypt, POW only, 2B coins) Then let me guess. You decided to stop reading why they did that and went to go post how much scrypt, POW only and 2b coins is disappointing. This is how people miss buying in early. They think every coin is a scam and too good to be true. Everything checks out but people are not willing to look into it. The few errors have been adjusted. If you think something is off then post a detailed response why and everyone will check your work to find out if you are right or wrong. Well, I read it to the end but I still think an initial capitalization of ~6m$ is a bit too high for something that doesn't look much different to what NXT or NEM are already offering (feature related). Ok, NEM is not yet released but it's already much more popular than Syscoin (which I heard about today the first time).

Hi haggis,
the thing is, that crypsy has much more coins as our trading system. But we support them all in the Easy Enter function.
The best thing would be to include all altcoins from cryptsy's balance site into Easy Enter. But we try really hard to include all of them into the trading system and creating API imports for cryptsy and other major exchanges.
Best wishes, Dario
Hi Dario, saw your answer a bit lately Nice to hear that. I was thinking about a mechanism which doesn't force you to "code" any support for any coin into your system. Just calling the APIs and creating new tables (depending on your DB modeling) for each unknown coin dynamically. Just my thoughts, don't know how complicated it is to implement such function into the current code. Another problem could be security if the APIs are not read-only. Never had a look at them, though. Cheers

Just tried to mine myriad-groestl with my cpu and got the following:
./minerd -a myr-gr -o http://69.164.206.169:20001 -u groestl -p iWanttominesomedgbGroestl [2014-07-18 02:24:34] HTTP request failed: The requested URL returned error: 500 Internal Server Error [2014-07-18 02:24:34] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds
it' offline Now with 100Mh/s on Skein. edit: Mining Algorithm #3: DigiGPU (Skein) This is the most efficient GPU mining algo of all 5 and can be mined with a specialized cgminer download. In which way is this algo efficient? My HD5870 is at 85°C and so I guess it sucks max power from the wall There also seems to be a bug on http://69.164.206.169/workers as it shows the exact same hashrate for Skein as for Scrypt.

this for to be used on currency exchanges, so im pretty sure it has to be only 3 letters
Well, in thise case it should be impossible for NEM to be ISO 4217 compliant. It's a 3 letter code. The first two are the the country (NEM has none), the 3rd for the currency: http://www.iso.org/iso/home/standards/currency_codes.htm"Currencies/commodities that don't have a country start with "X" thus XAU = Gold XAG = Silver XPD = Palladium XDR = International Monetary Fund XUA = African Development Fund XBD = European Bonds XRP = Ripple XCP = Counter Party XBT = Bitcoin And so on. There are actually lots and lots of tickers codes that aren't officially started from a country that start with an "X". " Is there any source where this standard is defined? Given 3 letters are allowed, I also vote for XEM.

A pity I sold all my GPUs a couple of weeks ago Are there any public graphs about the running test? Hashrates, difficulties and blocktimes?

XNEM (x-nem) is a wonderful source for marketing now. Imagine all the goodness that could spring out of this.
I like it too But are 4 letter codes allowed? BTCS, CINNI, CLOAK, COMM, CRYPT, DOGE, DOPE, ... yes they are

Just want to say thanks to the committee for rejecting our puppet tagging! To the question what should haben with the "freed" stakes: the goal should be to get the same situation as no puppets would have existed. I don't know exactly what the plans were. But if there was a fix % to divide through the total number of stakeholders, the puppet stakes should get divided. So nobody has a disadvantage. If the size of a stake was fixed before the IPO, this should not change and the free stakes should go where they were planned to beforehand. Where's the point to discuss here? The situation seems to be totaly clear

People having issue synchronizing should give this a try. Feedback appreciated. It took a few hours to import but at the end the wallet is now synchronized! Thanks!
|
|
|
The wallet doesn't sync. Has anyone addnodes to put in the conf file?
Can anybody post "addnodes" for Cinnicoin? I cannot seem to find a good list. Thanks haggis sources said that collects with good addnode, ask him, may have done. Huh? I never said it's syncing good - I just got the wallet compiled. In fact, it synced a couple of hours (downloaded only 90MB chain in that time) and then produced a segfault. So the youngest synced block for me is now 80 days old - after that the wallet crashes with the mentioned segfault

Btw: You said: "..Currently it just looks as some members just sustain everything.." And you´ve got this information from whom?
Got the information from the "Puppet Removal Committee Decision Sheet" of course. At the time of writing the columns were named "Sustain" and "Reject" so I hope it was just confusion that caused all the crosses on the dark side of the sheet.

Thank you! Will try it after work. It worked. I had to install libqrencode-dev package. Thanks again!

Can the committee members who sustained a case please explain their decision? Currently it just looks as some members just sustain everything. We gave you money and this is not Wild West...
