1641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's DO THIS! [Win 119+ BTC] on: October 24, 2011, 06:35:10 AM
See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39621.0

Also this is bitcoin discussion, not gambling.
1642  Other / Meta / Re: I have filed many reports. I will now make a thread. on: October 23, 2011, 04:13:34 PM
*sigh*
I took care of the Heath Care debate, but I'm too tired to sort out the political debate. And I did all this on my day off from moderating Sad

Where are all the other mods?!?

It's been a crazy crazy homecoming weekend for me, otherwise I would have looked into it some more.
1643  Other / Meta / Re: Avatar maximum filesize on: October 23, 2011, 04:12:32 PM
If it becomes a problem, then yes they should probably be limited.  You're also assuming that every post on a page will be different people (very rare) and that every will have a big avatar.  There are plenty of people out there with no avatar.
1644  Other / Meta / Re: Revive Bitcoinduit! on: October 19, 2011, 11:44:58 PM
"spreadsheet games", especially considering that I haven't seen one for months.

I should totally bring the spreadsheet games thing back!
1645  Other / Off-topic / Re: @Atlas on: October 19, 2011, 07:06:26 AM
Thread has diverged from what I started it for, not much reason to keep it around anymore.
1646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas for a Bitcoin 2.0 on: October 19, 2011, 05:16:18 AM
@mpfrank

Everything you say just makes me think your only concern is making (lots of) money off of bitcoin.

Or that he's YASAT (yet another something awful troll)

It does seem likely.

1648  Other / Meta / Re: This forum is a mess! Where are the Mods? on: October 18, 2011, 09:33:30 PM
Is it just me or this forum is full of immature jobless wannabe-geeks?

I take offense as a mature job holding definite geek.

Are there any mods here?

Seconding what Maged said.... yes there are mods here.

I'm "trolling" this thread to make sure that things are all going well here, seen plenty of scams so I like to go into the details to ensure this isn't one.
1650  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] (NA) Leauge of Legends loaded account (All Unlocks) (Stocked/RP/IP) on: October 18, 2011, 07:45:34 PM
I explained to you last post as well, that I am not providing screen shots for privacy reasons.

Except you did post some screenshots of skins/champs last time.
1651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: n00b question: is BTC infrastructure *really* 100% decentralized? on: October 18, 2011, 04:53:20 PM
Yes it is 100% decentralized, there's no one thing you could remove to take down bitcoin.  It would involve taking down a lot of nodes/pools/etc to hurt bitcoin badly.
1652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Slush Pool, performance dropped to half. on: October 18, 2011, 04:44:04 PM
Are you overclocking at all?  Have you set flags in your miner?
1653  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] (NA) Leauge of Legends loaded account (All Unlocks) (Stocked/RP/IP) on: October 18, 2011, 04:42:01 PM
Screenshots for proof of ownership of a second account?
1654  Other / Meta / Re: Moderation policy? on: October 18, 2011, 04:11:24 AM
When someone reports something to a mod, it emails everyone with moderation privilege over it.  If it's a bad thread, the odds are it will not be around for long.

@OP

It sounds like you want to change bitcoin to not be what it was meant to be just so you can make money.  Go to the alt crypto sub-forum if you want to try to get your own one started up.
1657  Other / Meta / Re: Was BitcoinTalk Hacked? on: October 17, 2011, 03:01:40 PM
Interesting thread you quoted there! Let's hope he ain't buying any fertilizer over at the Goergetown CO-OP. That boy proved to be not right. BTW, what reason for him getting ban? Did he do something wrong?

It's just a theory but I'd imagine all his nonsense could have eventually bothered even the mods.

As far as I know he wasn't banned.
1658  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [460 GH/s] Eligius pool: ~0Fee SMPPS, no reg, RollNtime, hop OK, BTC+NMC merged! on: October 16, 2011, 09:10:24 PM
My BTC client says ".. generated 1.166xxx BTC.. matures in XXX blocks ". What does it mean? My balance is still 0.00
This is an issue with how your client displays it. 1.166xxx BTC was sent, but your client is neglecting to display it until it's confirmed XXX more blocks.

Isnt the usually confirmation of a transaction 7? When i sent/received BTC, its unconfirmed until 6 confirmations. Hope you dont mind me asking..

Moving from another pool, that was how it worked so i'm confused.

Other pools send you coins that have already been generated, these are completely new coins.
1659  Other / Off-topic / Re: @Atlas on: October 16, 2011, 08:34:39 PM
"It is my opinion that the Statue of Liberty is 3 inches tall"

vs

"It is my opinion that the current room temperature is too damn high!"

Or at least that's what I imagine he was referring to.

You can't really have an opinion about a proven fact.... because it's a fact.
1660  Other / Off-topic / @Atlas on: October 15, 2011, 08:47:06 PM
Coming up with a new idea every week, posting it on the forums, then closing the thread down after a few hours is never going to do any good.  Find something and stick with it, stop trying to do so much.
