I will buy unless you send first.

You realize you're saying you will send first, right?
762  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice Scam on: December 11, 2014, 08:07:56 AM
3. If we wanted to scam why wouldn't we just open up investments and scam 10k-20k+ coins. There are countless individuals who want to invest hundreds of coins in primedice and we aren't allowing it as there is no provably fair way to do so.

First of all, PD is absolutely not a scam, and the OP is just upset they got unlucky, but this point isn't really worth that much when defending legitimacy. Yes, you could make a lot more by running off with investments, but you also risk a lot more by doing so. A site might choose to scam subtly rather than blatantly because of how much more liable they would be to legal or personal reprisal as a result of blatant theft. Properly rigged rolls would leave a site with little fear of being caught/punished, while still being very profitable in the long run.
763  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [SALE] Hero Member Account on: December 10, 2014, 09:43:00 PM
This is a self moderated thread and I could have deleted your scam accusations post, but I will not do that. I will respond to you.

First of all he is not talking about this account nor this sale, but our previous contact about Full Member accounts, I agreed to sell him 2 Full Member accounts for 0.09 BTC after 2 days of haggling. And then he says that he wants me to send him the usernames and passwords or use "his" middleman. It was very insulting for him to even suggest that, after I have lowered the price as much as it goes.

So you little maggot, take your frustration back to your mother and father because they forgot to teach you how to behave in a respectful manner. I have done business here for months, and no one ever had any issues with me. I am 100% clean.

Sam
first of all it is not a self moderated thread and you don't know how to create one
a hero member of this community don't know how to create a self moderated thread i wonder if he really have a hero account or have a hacked one

second i just asked you for middle man because even if we are dealing for 0.01BTC we should use middleman for safety of both of us, and i was ready to pay the fees for middleman

this is a scammer or selling hacked accounts
i have seen many legit seller here who accept escrow for their service

if anyone wants to loose their bitcoin, he should definitely deal with this user
beware guys, don't be a victim of scam, don't buy hacked accounts

Accusing me of selling hacked accounts ? Are you serious ? That is one hell of an allegation buddy. You are just throwing baseless claims around, shame on you.

You are probably an adolescent living in his mothers basement and you got pissed at me because I did not give you a bigger discount for the 2 Full Member Accounts, yeah 0.09 for 2 of these is such a ripoff.

But regardless , you do not go around and accusing people of selling hacked goods without any real evidence or anything at all to base your claim on. Remember that, it might save you a lot more than a few satoshis, there are some wicked people around and fortunately for you I am not one of them.

Sam

You did sell this account, which was claimed to have been hacked in this thread.
Did you actually buy that account from samtsuedo?

No, but he clearly used to own it.

I've had enough of it now. Put your money where your mouth is scum.

I challenge you to 3 BTC which will be kept in escrow by one of the highest ranking members. You would have 48 hours to provide concrete and 100% tangible evidence that the account in question was hacked and then sold by me to the third party. If you manage to prove it beyond any doubt that I have hacked the account you will get the 3 BTC, if not I get your 3 BTC.

Sam

Please read my post again. I said I am certain you at one point owned that account, and am fairly certain you have sold it. I don't know how you acquired it, but someone has made a claim that the account was hacked, and it seems to be a fairly strong one. Once again, I can provide fairly convincing evidence to a third party that you did indeed own the account at some point. If you consider evidence linking you to control of the account as sufficient, then yes, I would be interested in this wager, providing we use a good escrow like Vlad2Vlad (and yes, this is sarcasm, don't waste my time by suggesting this  Roll Eyes)

765  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Hero account for 0.7 btc only on: December 10, 2014, 08:33:55 AM
I have been in communication with the OP regarding his "hero" account. He claims that he is the original owner. When I asked for a signed message, he claimed to not know how to sign a message, I gave him instructions and below is his response:

Hello,

I see that you are selling a hero account.

Can you please confirm that you are able to provide a signed message from an old unedited post the hero account has posted in order to prove ownership?

I may be interested.
how to do I don't know If you guide me I will do that but to escrow only. Don't worry it is my own account.

How you do that will depend on the wallet service that you use. If you tell me what wallet you use, I can give you instructions.

I do accept escrow.

Your price however is very high. Are you willing to come down on price at all?

I have seen another person selling 1.25 fro hero with same activity. I am using blockchain.info
I dont't reduce price as the bitcoin price is also low now
That person is asking 1.25 BTC for his hero account, he will not necessarily get that much. If he wants that much he will likely need to wait a long time. Also what accounts can earn from signature deals is priced in bitcoin, not fiat so the exchange rate will not affect the fiat rate they can earn.

To sign a message, you first need to find a post the account has made (that has not been edited) that contains a BTC address. You then go to receive money on blockchain.info, then click on actions (on the right) for the corresponding address, then sign message, then enter your 2nd password as necessary, then enter the message you are signing, then enter the message you are signing (it should include the current date). Then click on sign message. You will need to provide the post, the address, the message and the signature so the signed message can be verified.

Sorry that I can't do. Very long procedure
I would deal with extreme caution with this person

I am confused how to verify that is the reason.

I think Quickseller has a valid reason for warning people about trading with you. You claim to have been a member of these forums for almost a year and a half (that is the shortest amount of time it would take to have a hero account if you created it), yet you are unable to perform as simple of an action as signing an address, even when given instructions. I for one find it difficult to see how someone who has been involved in Bitcoin for so long could be unable to perform such a simple action.
766  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTS Sr.Member 0.17 btc on: December 10, 2014, 08:14:27 AM
I offer 0.16BTC, Will not go first and will not pay escrow fees (I'm a poor miner Sad )
Not going first and not pay escrow?
Scammer

I think he might be open to escrow, he is just asking the seller to pay the escrow fee (if there is any).

I do have addresses which were created in january 2014. I stopped using them in march. Do you want to buy them as well?

If they were empty as of May 2014, they aren't worth anything.

Genuinely curious, why is this in gambling? Seems more like an options exchange to me.

Yeah. I was just hoping someone would be generous. I wish I would have used my account on here more to up my reputation, but whatever. I guess I'll wait a week. thanks anyways!

If it makes you feel any better, barely anyone on this forum would be given a 10 btc loan with no collateral, even those who are already very trusted.
771  Economy / Gambling / Re: Beat a dice site using martingale on: December 08, 2014, 08:10:30 PM
Is there anyone that has thought about beating a dice site using martingale?

It's a +EV strategy only if you have an infinite bankroll Tongue

It might even be a +EV strategy if your bankroll can take 35 streak of losses. Never heard anymore, and have done a few simulations.
Never came over that, but that might also mean that your first bet would be like 1 satoshi, which would be pointless.

There is no +EV strategy for gambling. Perhaps if you had a greater bankroll than the house, but this is limited by a limit on your maximum bet return.

It will still have a negative EV, no matter how much gambling fund you have.
And what is the point of gambling if you have an infinite bankroll lol?

You're right, I'm not sure why I mentioned the possibility of a positive EV strategy, I wasn't thinking when I wrote that. What I meant is that if you have a greater bankroll than the house, you could have a greater chance of beating the house than busting, although it would still be -EV. This doesn't work in practice though since there is usually a maximum % of the house's bankroll that can be won per bet.
772  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Reused R values again on: December 08, 2014, 08:02:15 PM
I'm pretty sure blockchain will reimburse users, since blockchain is clearly at fault and have admitted to it. Returning the funds won't change whether these people get paid back, although it would help blockchain if you actually care about that fact.

Does the site shut down again if a CLAM/USD exchange opens up?
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com Relaunched! With CLAM! on: December 06, 2014, 09:40:32 PM
This seems like a great way to pump a coin. Great idea, I'm surprised Doog went along with it.
It actually did pump the coin. The trade volume today is around 33 BTC and the prices are up 150% from yesterday.
Definitely made a big impact on the price of the coin.

I know, people might say this is just the same as doge-dice, but doge already had a big following beforehand, the price/volume was pretty stable. I can guarantee you that those with inside information about this move bought a lot of CLAM before this was publicly announced, since they knew the effect this would have on demand. I've always had a certain amount of respect for JD and doog's operations, and this kind of lowered it =/

False.
778  Economy / Gambling / Re: An Open Letter to Legendary Member Dooglus - Request for Explanation & Response on: December 04, 2014, 01:09:39 AM
I would agree with his rating, it is rather untrustworthy to attempt to sell a supposedly EV+ gambling method for a large amount of money and then refuse an escrowed bet of a much smaller amount that would back up your claims.
779  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking for someone to sell me 0.18 Bitcoins --> PayPal on: December 03, 2014, 09:45:30 PM
I would be happy to help you out over Western Union at Bistamp +7%.  Please let me know if your interested.  I can pick up in about an hour and a half or roughly the same time tomorrow and then get you your bitcoin.

can't we do PayPal, it will be over in seconds  and I don't need to go anywhere  Grin

I'v dealt with trades over 2BTC, why would I chargeback for 70$..

I am sorry, but I am not interested in trading Paypal.  If interested I am happy to help, but not with Paypal, can also do cash in mail or in person depending on where you are.  I would also possibly be willing to buy the deal for you and have it shipped to you, provided you pay bitcoin first and on the website.

Please note, it has nothing to do with you.  For all I know you could be just a nice guy trying to get some bitcoin and an honest person, but I have lost tens of thousands of dollars to scams, and my personal rules are set up for a reason learning from those instances.  If your not interested in any of the above options, I understand, no hard feelings either way I hope, was just trying to help you out if you needed it, and I wish you good luck in getting the money from someone.

I know, I understand you

I'v been burned too

But just check my feedback..

Why would I scam for 0.18BTC when I had opportunities to scam for much more and I didn't?  Undecided

Who is to say you won't scam in the next few months? This can be charged back long after the transaction has been made, which is a liability to whoever is receiving the paypal.
780  Other / Meta / Re: Lending Forum Posting restriction implementation on: December 03, 2014, 08:33:32 AM
They'll just make the post somewhere else. "Sorry guys I can't post there for some reason!". Or do it in pms.

Would there be a way to make the section completely hidden to them until they reach a certain activity level? I doubt people will make posts asking for loans if they don't know there is a lending section.
