244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is altcoin is too riscky to invest now ? on: August 02, 2018, 06:55:47 PM
DOM of bitcoin is increasing by 50%. This may cause altcoin prices to go down by 15-20%. It's best to be quiet and wait at this point. The market is crazy. If you invest now, of course it will be very riscky

246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: August 02, 2018, 05:57:49 PM
Crypto gives you the freedom to control your money. decentralization. But the risk is if the crypto collapses. You will be completely white handed, Do not get anything from it. As for banks. If the crisis occurs or the Bank collapses. You will still get a certain amount of insurance. But it is difficult for a bank to collapse naturally. Money deposited in the bank will be safer. But if you like the freedom of control you should choose crypto
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: August 02, 2018, 05:21:49 PM
The product will determine the future of a project. If a project works, it can not create any product. That project will soon die. If the project has a good product. Serving the community. That project will succeed. Take a look at the coin top coinmarket. All things have very good products for them
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: August 01, 2018, 06:40:21 PM
All altcoins outside the top 100 in the coinmarket have either come to the final stage or are dead. In the future will continue many altcoin no application will die. Altcoin is created too much just for a purpose of pumping and pouring
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ECT] Eloncity - Power the World for FREE on: August 01, 2018, 06:29:01 PM
A huge project and attracted many investors. Krypital has done a great job of marketing as well as the idea of a bold and groundbreaking eloncity project. This project will be a perfect success. Still waiting for Token to be open sale
Unfortunately, the market is in a terrible state and I'm afraid that investors may not make a profit. But I will still invest in Eloncity
I don't think you should worry about the bear market. After all, all projects from this team bring profit to investors!
With the current market, it is very difficult to invest in altcoin as well as ICO. But after the bull market grows back. Eloncity will be a strong growth project, so do not be scared

251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of the cryptocurrency 3 years later? on: July 31, 2018, 09:04:55 PM
This market is growing constantly after each year. 2013 The market has just started and everything is like 0. And here's the time from that 0. All of the early altcos and bitcoins have led the market in terms of price and quality. Will not be surprised if 3 years later. This market will be accepted internationally and crypto is applied to life
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: July 31, 2018, 07:41:58 AM
ETH is the better choice. NEO just opened. There are many shortcomings and mistakes in the system. Need a long check to be able to stabilize. ETH has improved and is continuing to improve and upgrade. Personally, I always choose ETH
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: July 30, 2018, 09:08:34 PM
It may not take 2 years. If EFT is approved. Then the market will recover from September. And go up non-stop. Everyone is waiting for this so the market is growing slowly
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: March 15, 2016, 04:38:29 AM
When I try to make a transaction the wallets says me:

Error the transaction was rejected. This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet are spend, such as if you used a copy of wallet.dat and coins were spent in the copy but not marked as spent here. Please open console and type clearwallet transactions followed by scanforalltxns to repair.

I donīt  make a transaction with a copy of my wallet and I type the commands in the console and I have the same error, anybody can help me?, thanks

Make sure you have your wallet.dat backed up then follow these directions.

1. Open Debug Window
2. type "clearwallettransactions"
3. type "scanforalltxns" and wait.

Step 3 can take quite a while as it is scanning all previous blocks for any transactions related to your addresses.

Will have updated Windows and Mac builds soon with code optimizations to make things run more smooth.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: February 20, 2016, 07:16:08 AM
I have my wallet up and running but it seems I'm the only one.  Huh

perhaps you should check the explorer and bittrex before you say your the only one.
will have a new build set and bootstrap for anyone having issues with syncing before too long. I did a check of the network, and it would appear we still have people on v 2.0.0. Yall should be way past that by now just saying.

Anyways. Back to it. Talk later yall
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: February 03, 2016, 05:02:01 PM
Pull request has been committed will be adding a couple more commits soon, will also be building new clients shortly.
Thank you Hondo for the pull request, and Crazy for watching the thread. It looks like there wasnt actually a fork, it was that we had some people stuck in sync and had never gotten past it. The boot strap should resolve this if you were having any issues syncing. Once everyone has been updated to the new client we should have less people actually stuck on the chain at those choke points.

Also will be updating the site shortly, have actually been in the process of migrating hosts, but no need to worry about it. Everything will be up to date before too long.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: May 01, 2015, 02:00:15 AM
Don't get defensive I'm all for this coin. I just don't believe a few members hyping a project that may already be 6 feet under is going to cut it. We need to know the guy doing the actual work is alive more then once a year, and what work is being done.

I think a dev log would be great way to keep us in the loop. Just post changes, fixes, ideas, thoughts, etc. Examples and explanations of why what you're doing will be worth the wait.  Coder Journal, dev log, whatever you wanna call it. Just something to add a pulse to this coin. The community is nonexistent and would help to garner attention. An active thread is an easy way to do that. I mean all we hear is "Tor Browser". So why do I want to browse the internet with a wallet using Tor when I have Firefox to do that? Sell us on it a bit.

Right now it is just pages of a few community members gushing to keep the price up (no offense guys, I think it has been working, so don't stop) I mention price, not because the value is important, but because it is a solid indicator of the lifeblood of a coin. It shows people that there is a community. We haven't really seen anything in what is getting close to a year.

Even if nothing happens just pushing for this stuff and maybe (just maybe) getting a response from somebody involved with the project is worthwhile. Stealth coins are a crowded genre, amongst competitors that are incredibly active. Sure the idea of the tech here is great, but until we start seeing it it doesn't really matter.

Another idea is maybe get another coder in to help. Some projects are literally too much for one person.

obviously you dont know the difference of using Tor instead of firefox, chrome etc etc.

just be patient

Obviously you don't know you can still use Tor with Firefox, chrome etc etc.

obviously you dont know what are the differences of using tor inwallet with tor  firefox chrome etc

Yes, I don't know, What is the difference ?

So, the difference you ask. It's more a matter of convenience than anything else. First off, think about how much is required to get firefox to run over tor. You can either download a tor client, setup your proxy point your browser to it and then you can use it. Someone with Sonic will be able to browse securely without having to download or configure anything extra.

Figured I would say something in here. Been quietly working on the wallet for the last couple months. Having a snag with the in wallet tor browser. Been trying to debug it for a while now, but I take pride in my products working so I can do either one of two things strip out the for browser and release a blocknet enable wallet, or hang in there till I track down the elusive seg fault.

I do want to make a shout out to RadDragon for acting as an intermediary for me. I do not always have the time to jump on BCT and make a post so I do definitely appreciate how he has volunteered to coordinate updates here from what is talked about in Slack.
