I am also concerned with the staking function on the wallet - why does it split the amount after minting new coins? It ends up resetting the staking clock to 0. That effectively makes the new block generation for each staking wallet ~3 days. I think that's what's destroying the block times and the sync times?
that is stand for any proof of stake coin. when you stake you destroy coin age in order to do so thats why its important to have multiple inputs. In regards to splitting the input in half. again this is the way stake works. it takes the input calculates the percentage of stake, and then creates two new inputs of close to equal value totaling the initial input plus the stake. |

Are you also able to natively- or cross-compile for OSX? It seems that many coins have been failing to get OSX wallets up in time.
unfortunately I do not have a way to compile osx, but on the bright side I do know someone who can. |

little known secret about NOMP http://162.243.238.12:9999/mining_key and you can use the mining key generated to mine even before you have a qt. just make sure you save your private key so you can recover the key to import to your qt later |

make sure you install libevent
libevent is installed, the error is due to reference builds fine on my end, you may need to do a make clean, and then make sure you have libevent-dev installed not just libevent, or better yet build libevent from source, easy as download untar cd ./configure make make install |

Regarding any wallet issues please post a couple things with your complaint in order to further track down any issues that need fixing, 1, we need to know symptoms 2, what version qt you are using if windows exe or zip installl 3, most helpful would be if you had a pastebin or dropbox of your debug.log Wallet hasn't been able to sync for the last day or so (~20 hours). Tried several times to wipe everything (excluding wallet.dat) with both exe and zip install (latest version). Gets stuck at block 7611 every time. Connections vary between 4-11 over several hours. 1: Symptoms are; not syncing - constantly trying to "catch up", but nothing is happening 2: Latest Win version QT (1.0.3.1) zip install (tried exe install before, same result) 3: debug.loglooking over the debug I would suggest closing the qt down, going to the %appdata%/Stealthcoin folder and deleting just the peer.dat |
