How does that explain lack of synch? first of what block are you on? I ask cause I have closed my wallet, deleted everything but wallet.dat, opened it back up and gotten back up to 6972 within a matter of minutes. secondly. the only reason it says out of sync is cause it hasnt seen a block pass with the amount of time it expects one. this does not infact mean that it is out of sync. If you have coins eligible for stake they would still try for stake till they found some. |

Is there a difference between the block explorer and the crawler?

part of what happened is one of the pools seems to have gone through and started giving work before the chain was fully sync'd as a result not only did it fork, but produced a massive amount of orphans that the chain had to go through

Same here! stoped at block 4163!For those of you stopped at 4163 this is cause there are a lot of orphans in the chain around there, It has to work its way through and process them before being able to continue. If you are on the correct chain and have done the backup wallet.dat dumpprivkey delete chain db importprivkey and then just wait it will move past 4163 it can just take some time. |

when try to sync, can not overcome 5810 block? any advice? thanks  dont do anything except: close the wallet - delete blk0001.dat & blkindex.dat In your folder: user/administration/appdata/roaming/stealthcoin or something like that and restart the wallet and let it sync! never delete your wallet.dat! i do this, but still can not sync the wallet? also all my pos mined coin can not get confirmed? what version of the wallet are you on? cause if you are on a version before 1.0.2.1 and it tried to stake prior to moving to 1.0.2.1 you may need to do the dumppriv key import privkey on a fresh wallet as posted in the OP |

What are the future plans for this coin?
I'm sure Stealth devs are trying to get this coin to have as much private transaction as possible over TOR. My future hope for this coin is the devs show themself and have a marketing team to promote the coin and perhaps some more add-on stuffs to this stealth platform. anonymous scam coin is very limited right now, so I think most coins are trying to establishing them self away from scam and different innovation from others. Just for your information Vericoin, Darkcoin, XC or Cinni etc do not have anonymous transaction at this moment as anyone claimed, all are in BETA mode and you can only have very limited coins in one transaction. in most case you can lose your coins. for the record, 0 coin at the moment have true anonymous transaction. just know Stealthcoin is having TOR right now and anonymous is coming soon. for my personal investment I think no coin is better than Stealth right now. all are the same but just Stealthcoin have TOR right now. All coins are still have BETA anonymous transaction. What I'm trying to say anonymous scam coins will soon come to an end so there is no point of creating another scam coin, soon it will get caught up and it is only waste the dev time. there will be no other good name to scam. At this point Stealth coin is standout because it is the first one to have transaction over TOR. I also think Stealthcoin is a good name. I think that if the devs are as legit as they seem to be and the coin gets some marketing behind it... there is a lot of potential here. The devs revealing themselves may garnish more trust in this coin, but I think it's more important to have a coin that functions well. There are a lot of pseudo-anonymous coins out there at the moment, and some are succeeding...but most of them are hyped on future promises. XST didn't come out promising Tor in a few days or a few weeks, it already had it implemented upon release. Time will tell if XST can rise to the heights of some of the other coins, but based on what the coin already has, it should be able to separate itself from the herd. Marketing would definitely help. ^ THIS! ^ the devs may be "in silence" to buy the maximum they can at this very cheap price What exactly does this coin do that others don;t already do?  ? It has TOR and sells much, much cheaper than other coins do. how is this different then Shieldcoin? Or TORcoin? First of TOR coin doesnt even use TOR. How many times does this need to be pointed out. Shieldcoin doesnt either for that matter. Shield is PoW PoS and x15 but otherwise really not sure what the value is to it. |

so lets point something out, about those listed and this one.
This one actually does what it says, PoS over Tor.
It only Operates over Tor, dont believe me, check your peer list you will either see .onion or 127.0.0.1 which would be running through the tor proxy.
in case you wanted to know how to check this open the console and type getpeerinfo.
another thing you could do is look at debug.log you will only see .onion and 127.0.0.1 adding or dropping. no standard ipv4 or ipv6 addresses.
