How to sync wallet?

does anyone have nodes!?

make sure you are on the correct version 1.0.2.1, and then just patience.
The Tor network can take a little to initialize.
the addnodes are also hardcoded into the client, there are 5 and I know they are all up
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XST] StealthCoin | PoS + Tor | PoS Only! Bittrex! on: July 12, 2014, 10:28:58 PM
Anyone else having trouble getting wallet to sync?

It's stuck and the number of blocks remaining seems to jump up and down randomly.

Yeah sure its my fault, but I have 56k coins stuck in stake on 1.0.0.1.. When I try to update and delete block index, but keep wallet.dat, It only gives me the coins that are not in stake. My stake becomes 0.

you need to:
step 1: open console
step 2: dumpprivkey <address> for each address you have, be sure to write this down.
step 3: close xst-qt, goto appdata, back up wallet.dat to a safe location, delete everything in the folder.
step 4: make sure you are on v 1.0.2.1
step 5: open qt, may take a little to find nodes, since we cleared tor folder in step 3 it has to do the full re-init of the tor network.
step 6: open console. type importprivkey <privatekeyfromstep2> for each key you got in step 2
step 7: wait for sync and watch your coins come back.

all you guys bitching about lost coins need to understand 2 things, 1 dont pile on dedicated, all that hash combined with the devs not setting up nodes correctly caused the fork which fucked us all out of a lot of coins. everybody says oh its not devs fault , actually yes it is, you cant go from pow to pos without setting the nodes correctly, and oh its not dedicateds fault, yes it is, that greedy turd should shut down registrations to avoid this from happening since he does this shit on every goddamn coin. Now are we going to get compensated? fuck no, they wont even admit fault let alone make it right. BUT dedicated is getting 32k to make up for his "hard work" so there is your answer on what kind of scammy bullshit goes on behind the scenes of these shady fuck pools and these shit devs. good luck making up your losses. and next time, as I have said for months now, quit using dedicated pool especially if they have 80 % of the net hash.

Perhaps you need to get your facts straight. Nothing is going to dedicated for anything. there was no bounty for pools. And there is definitely nothing going to him for his 'hard work'

thats not what was said in irc yesterday when binary was whining about losing 32k, i lost more than that, nobody is going to compensate me so why should the pool responsible for the fork be reimbursed?

I remember binarydomain saying he wanted 32k for his loses but I also remember telling him no, you forked, we told you you were forked, and you still kept your pool going

nah man go check the logs if you want, one of you guys told him "we can give you that no problem" and then he quit bitching, it doesn't matter to me enough to go dig for it as I have nothing to prove, but that is what transpired and for the record it's total bullshit, but whatever I have made up for my rentals and then some so i am out either way.

<Jackstraw>   so dedicated gets his 32k and all us miners are fukt, nice
<binaryclock>   seen it a million times
<Grndnpnd>   he didnt get 32k
<binaryclock>   i haven't got anything
<binaryclock>   i'm in the hole
<binaryclock>   welcome to the club
<merx>   what is the new end of pow
<binaryclock>   and in fact, miners didn't get fucked
<binaryclock>   they got paid out
<binaryclock>   i'm the one who got fucked
<wmc>   add coin to coinmarketcap.com or maybe when more traded
<binaryclock>   i dunno, might have been on a bad chain no idea
<merx>   5460
<Grndnpnd>   so just to let you know binary the extreme network has fucked the POS block validatation
<Grndnpnd>   that was the issue
*   statdude has quit (Ping timeout: 240 seconds)
<binaryclock>   all i know is after all my hard work, resources, etc,  im in the hole 0.5 btc :p
<binaryclock>   you miners at leat got something
<binaryclock>   i have to pay $5k + for servers and stuff
<binaryclock>   shit happens
<Cryptonite>   I feel sorry for you
<binaryclock>   it's fine
<Cryptonite>   Sucks though
<Grndnpnd>   well i wise man once said to his customers:  There was a warning up on our site that it may be forked, mine at your own risk.  Sometimes gambles pay off, sometimes not.
<binaryclock>   thats why there are fees
<binaryclock>   grndnpnd i locked payouts already
<Crypto_Shark>   true story
<binaryclock>   the -32k came from the 2 hours of fork that i was sleeping
<binaryclock>   i locked payouts when i woke up

Just pulling what I found in my logs, he didnt get anything.
So unless he worked a deal with someone not on the dev team to get paid not from the premine he didnt get anything. Premine address is posted in the OP with an account of what was paid. Books are open, as the saying goes.

So the mining stage is over, correct?  All POS from here out then?
I've been struggling to get my miners changed over and want to know if I should stop.
THanks

Yes, PoW is officially over, and we are now 100% PoS, 20.7 Million coins have been minted during the PoW phase. Smiley

Last PoW block: 20,420 5459  guess that 20 million coins, mined a wee bit faster than originally mathed out.  People must've been getting super FAT stacks on each block reward.
Kind of scary this many coins, mined that fast, may flood the market at the right time.  A lot of coins went to a few people, very quickly.  Almost like instamine waiting for the right price to dump.  I don't see anywhere near that many for sell so the XST whales are staking or stalking?

Tell me if I'm wrong.  I have been before.
Thanks

Your wrong.
Seriously though you are. Cause each time it halves it takes longer.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XST] StealthCoin | PoS + Tor | PoS Only! Bittrex! on: July 12, 2014, 05:15:51 PM
My issue is the "stealth" changes they implement.  Mining should still be going on but due to issues they cut the 14 day period way short.
So you would rather be mining even though the reward is getting smaller and smaller?

New Wallet works fine, add the StealthCoin.conf for POS mining  Smiley

No conf needed to PoS mine. Just keep your wallet open
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XST] StealthCoin | PoS + Tor | PoS Only! Bittrex! on: July 12, 2014, 07:47:39 AM
Just installed the wallet on a clean VM installtion and my antivirus is starting to prompt me about attempted HTTPS communications which are not properly certified. Anyone else seen this behavior? I'm not surfing the web or anything but running the wallet in this VM.

www.2f4wjuitojinshiy.net, www.cq2kdjce4ghjrjtu.com and www.su54yhjv.com are just a few that the AV asking me to approve - they are always "gibberish" like that those.

Thanks!

what your av is seeing is an attempt to connect to the tor network. if you dont allow them it will not connect properly

so, is mining(POW) still with this coin? also, is POS working now?

POW is over, PoS is working properly

The first day out so much, a little pit!

Huh

Made my night thank you.

Halving from 17001.

Code:
// miner's coin base reward based on nHeight
int64 GetProofOfWorkReward(int nHeight, int64 nFees, uint256 prevHash)
{
    int64_t nSubsidy = 0 * COIN;

    if (nHeight == 0)
        nSubsidy = 16 * COIN; // genesis block coinbase is unspendable
    else if (nHeight <= 10)
nSubsidy = 23300 * COIN; // Blocks 1-10 are premine
    else if (nHeight <= 260)
        nSubsidy = 16 * COIN; // 4 hr Low Reward Period for Fairness
    else if (nHeight <= 1700)
