1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CryptoSwitcher - Automatically mine the best coin. on: April 10, 2013, 01:14:38 PM
Hi,
Good idea Smiley
However, Error 404 for https://github.com/area/CryptoSwitcher
The 3 links to Dustoin, Coinchoose and Fizzsist does not work

Comes up here - all of them.  Is your internet okay?
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CryptoSwitcher - Automatically mine the best coin. on: April 10, 2013, 11:58:16 AM
Very good work.  I am about to test this out!
1123  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: April 10, 2013, 02:45:31 AM
I'd like to see a detailed history on each loan, including when payments where made and the running total of the principal balance.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HOWTO] Setup a p2pool for Bytecoin on: April 10, 2013, 01:11:03 AM
Or make Bytecoin merged mineable.  That would be killer.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New PPC Pool need STRESS TESTING! - vPool.me on: April 10, 2013, 01:03:49 AM
Noticed small bug.  Look at: http://www.vpool.me/stats

"Pool Hash Rate   0.043 Mhash/s"

"Pool Hashrate: 0.04 GH/s"

Weren't the dividends weekly?
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: April 10, 2013, 12:56:59 AM
Fixed API (which was reflecting crazy profitability for the scrypt coins)
1128  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Make a PPCoin Pool on: April 09, 2013, 09:35:53 PM
SimpleCoin maybe?  Would be nice if someone actually contributed back fixes to the source.
1129  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: April 09, 2013, 08:45:16 PM
I just noticed things seemed to be in different spots.  Can someone else run their loan thru an amortization calculator and make sure things were calced correctly (especially if you paid ahead of schedule)?
1130  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: April 09, 2013, 07:37:22 PM
I may be beating a dead horse, but BTC Jam's interest rate calcs look wrong (and fail to account for early payment of principal).  This is a spreadsheet based on a current loan of mine where I made early payments of principal.  It looks like I only have a little over two payments remaining, but in reality there are five more payments due.  Am I missing something?

Link to spreadsheet is here -> https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-kNt2wTZXljdlJXbzNaYjJtUFk/edit?usp=sharing
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC at $220, altcoins crashing. Where are your AltGods now? on: April 09, 2013, 06:30:35 PM

That assumes the price stays constant, and if BTC-e goes down there is no easy way of maknig your LTC become BTC, etc.

Actually - Vircurex, but as of the current moment, yes.  Pricing keeps changing there and LTC has been more profitable for days.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC at $220, altcoins crashing. Where are your AltGods now? on: April 09, 2013, 05:44:16 PM
Litecoin still is more profitable to mine - http://www.coinchoose.com/
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocoin Mining Information -- find the most profitable coin to mine! on: April 09, 2013, 05:40:21 PM
This is Dust's site - which has the additional wonderful feature of a mining calc.
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocoin Mining Information -- find the most profitable coin to mine! on: April 09, 2013, 01:55:00 PM
Oops - I'll take a look.  I bet it isn't calculating the conversion right....
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This does NOT belong to the "Alternative cryptocurrencies" forum on: April 09, 2013, 01:01:33 PM
If you are talking about seeing value compared to Bitcoin, loook at Dustcoin or my site at http://www.coinchoose.com.  These sites calculate the difficulty and the current exchange rate to determine if a alt currency is more profitable to mine.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PPC Proposal: A community-funded PPC mining pool on: April 09, 2013, 12:58:59 PM
Update: Vanilla Simplecoin is a piece of shit software. Now looking at taking Greedi's fork of LTC-flavored Simplecoin and forking it for PPC

Can you post the code for your fork? Smiley
1137  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Satoshi Dice clone on: April 09, 2013, 11:37:43 AM
For a small fee, I can port the TeraDice codebase to your needs.

http://teradice.go-beyond.org/

Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks,
Teran

I'd be interested in just the teradice codebase itself (assuming the multiplier can be adjusted Smiley)
1138  Economy / Services / Re: V's BTC Coding Service! on: April 09, 2013, 11:34:58 AM
You still around and kicking?
1139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocoin Mining Information -- find the most profitable coin to mine! on: April 09, 2013, 11:22:45 AM

Yup, many thanks. I received a second donation shortly afterwards, too.

I added support for BTC-e yesterday, and so there's now the ability to sell any alt-coins as they come in. It uses a Python API for BTC-E that someone else wrote, so if you get around to a fork you should just be able to replace the sellCoin function in the main script with one that uses the Cavirtex API. There doesn't seem to be a pre-made python API, sadly, so I think it's a case of rolling your own...

You might want to start a new thread for your software as it is interesting.  Which API was it (perhaps I can port the API over as well)?

FYI - I have Freicoin (which looks somewhat profitable even though there are two steps to convert to BTC) and Bytecoin added to coinchoose now.  Shaky exchanges on both, but thought it would be interesting to see where these two are at.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FreiCoin (FRC) discussion (was FreiCoin (FRC) for TRC, PPC, LTC or BTC) on: April 09, 2013, 11:15:29 AM
Freicoin is sort of heated up already - its mining profitability is greater than mining straight Bitcoin (when converted into Bitcoin itself).  See http://www.coinchoose.com
