521  Economy / Goods / Exercise Equipment? on: July 01, 2013, 03:45:29 PM
Any retailers out there, that accept Bitcoin, selling exercise equipment (such as barbells, weights, etc)?

So it cannot be appealed in the borrowers jurisdiction?  That is what seemed contrary to some local law.  Most arbitrations can be appealed, at least for certain reasons (fraud, etc)

This is becoming rather annoying.

We have blocked a couple of ranges of IP addresses which we believe to be the source of the attack. Things have then suddenly stopped. Should you not be able to access our site because your user IP was part of those ranges then drop us an email.

Where are other currency?

Cryptsy is down.  I will be adding another exchange soon, but without Cryptsy many currencies have no pricing.

Gotcha - might want to revise this, then - "Arbitration is binding (cannot be appealed)"
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: June 27, 2013, 02:40:42 PM
Sorry - out of my home office this week a bit.  Having a hard time with some of these new currencies as the block reward is so variable...
527  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: June 27, 2013, 02:09:10 PM
Are you 100% on the "unappealable" nature of arbitration?  That seems to run contrary to US law, but if your attorneys said that was the case then it just may be.

You could also try this:

Using the data at http://www.coinchoose.com/jsondata.php?hours=[set number of hours to look bak] and then look at this article to get it into Excel (which you can manipulate as you want) - http://excelramblings.blogspot.com/2011/11/rest-json-excel-in-one-line-of-code.html

Anyone notice the block reward is wrong on coinchoose?

What should it be?
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CryptoSwitcher - Automatically mine the best coin. on: June 26, 2013, 01:02:41 PM
Yeah, Coinchoose just dropped over half the coins they were offering since this morning... need to pick a different provider because a lot of the coins that have even been on top the past few days, like Phenixcoin, Argentum, and others were deleted from coinchoose.

They'll come back. They get removed if the exchanges go down.

Is there a way to implement that in windows? Sorry I'm not good with creating batch files.

Also coinChoose has gotten rid of alot of coins? Can we use a different source for the data?

I am not a Windows man, I'm afraid.

Yes, it was the DDoS on the exchanges that removed the currencies as I couldn't get pricing.  All are back.

We are having a slight attack on our site as well, but it shouldn't impact availability..
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coinchoose.com and PPC on: June 25, 2013, 06:09:52 PM
Dead coin?
I don't think so. There are still a sizable amount of people using it.

Likely the block explorer went down.  I will look into it.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need soem stats any clues? on: June 25, 2013, 06:00:28 PM
Coinchoose does not show any stats I want. They show average hashrate/24 hours - I would rather get the average for the current diff level. They also do not show any timeframes of diff levels.

The GUI doesn't show it - but you can pull data from the JSON api and calc these pretty easily Wink
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: June 25, 2013, 05:48:56 PM
yeah i was going to say i think there is one around -  hopefully it would work , be good to see it get up there !

Well - with these coins I need either the full mathematical formula for figuring out the reward or an API-type ability to retrieve it from a site somewhere - any thoughts?
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: June 25, 2013, 04:25:13 PM
Sal are you looking at adding BOT ?

its on Cryptsy - and it will help people gauge profitability - i just want to help the guys out a little here .

Is there a block explorer?

PWC is removed from CC.  The first casualty in the great coin wars of 2013.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: June 24, 2013, 06:41:03 PM
Yep - I neglected to see it is like BitBar.  Until I can find the calcs, like I have with BitBar, it is removed from CoinChoose.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][SBC] StableCoin ¦¦ A new breed of cryptocurrency ¦¦ v1.2 RELEASED on: June 24, 2013, 06:34:07 PM

O.O
wow, that's quite a margin
down to 121% now, i'm guessing because the price is showing at .000042, I keep buying 1 SBC anytime a buy gets filled, i'm not sure how "best price" gets computed but it's only nudging it up a little (or maybe delayed?)
Anybody know of any scripts out there for Cryptsy's API that I can use to put in a repeating buy order at lowest ask every few minutes or anytime someone fills a buy order/bid? That would help keep the avg price on coinchoose up.

A bit - you need to place a much bigger order to have an impact on the pricing.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: June 24, 2013, 06:21:04 PM
Are you going to be implementing anything based on volume.

Currently BitGem is a great example of a coin that is sitting on the top which is great to know. What is being hidden is that the calculations are based on practically minimal volume.

Is there anyway you could sort the coins into three categories of high volume mid volume low volume? Otherwise you're just encouraging people to mess with your charts by making these pump/dumps and shooting to the top for publicity. I think a top spot should be earned.

Yes - the exchange rates are based on volume (it isn't just the open orders but a look into the market a bit more).  However, I have been told there are issues with BitGem in general so I am disabling it.

Looks like dreameatchers block explorers are down, so that is why BtB and NVC are missing.  Bytecoin's block explorer is also down.
