The issue didn't exist with Bush, and Obama wanted to just ignore the rules and law and let them in.

Here's a reference from about two years ago.

https://www.numbersusa.com/news/fbi-says-there-no-way-vet-incoming-syrian-refugees

Interesting.  A different federal official said he had confidence in our ability to vet (see at 55 mark - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5qYMv8-qp0).

Either way, this doesn't mean we didn't vet at all.  One expressed concern, one said it was okay, but no where did we just say "come on in!"

That is exactly what they did say for the issue of the illegal Mexicans.  I have confidence in our ability to control our southern border, but not if the acting President tells the Border Patrol to not control it.  Which is exactly what was done by Obama.

Clapper did voice an opinion he had confidence in our ability to vet, but also that the Syrian refugee issue was a "disaster of biblical proportions."

Actually deportations increased during his term over the prior President.  That being said, he didn't divert more government resources from other programs to be able to fully enforce immigration laws.  He also prioritized criminal deportations but didn't focus on deporting non-criminal illegals.  Hopefully Trump cuts other spending or increases taxes and funds more enforcement. I'd prefer the later, unless there is true waste to target (other than paying for his son's trips to Uruguay).

payouts are there, but take a looooong time. My 5 seats last received some mBTC june 2016

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/1NASTY1dZZ1CpCciQfjCCSw7QjEkSg3ZmU/transactions

never the less, the concept is great and I believe in it.

I agree.  I love the concept as well and prior to my long absence got payouts consistency.  Really no complaints here, just was curious.

Yeah, I haven't received anything for a few years (2014).  Just logged in, but must be suspended.  No worries - it was fun while it lasted.

Unusual reponse from you. You received your complete hold funds for that time in the distribution after you signed in again. Check your actual Bitcoin address transaction history or look for your donation address in the transaction for the distribution after you signed in again.

Maybe you only look at the history statistics for your account. This is not working right now. It does not show any payouts since April 2016. It is my plan to fix this.

I see.  But, no, nothing has been sent to my address since I started signing again a few months.

And I disagree with you. Just Trump the old imbecile whose mind is exactly the same as a child. He not only plays with children's drawings but also takes children's decisions. And this idiot President of the USA

Have you talked with the man? Have you seen him make childish decisions yet? He's a successful businessman, so he is smarter than the average guy, because life shows that most people either lose money or don't gain much throughout their lives. This man had money and now he also has power. Do you think Hilary was a better option?

Let's be clear - he is a semi-successful real estate developer but a much better promoter of his name.  He is also a celebrity.  He didn't make his money in normal business, but made it thru selling his brand.  He has had his share of large flops (Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka, Trump University), and his taste is rather gawdy, but for some reason his name is still big on real estate development.

I personally don't think he is worth as much as he claims, but we will never know.

That being said, he has had a few too many tantrums already.  Hopefully the gravity of the office catches up to him and he matures.

Ah, so mine is just too small, not on hold for any other reason?

If your account was on probation then maybe there is much Bitcoin on hold. When you sign in your account returns to normal status. Then all hold amounts sent with next distribution.

Bitcoin is also on hold if below a minimal amount. This amount is set on settings page. But there is also a minimal amount enforced by transaction server to avoid dust problems. This minimal amount can change depending on Bitcoin environment. Right now the non-dust minimal amount is 0.0005 BTC.

Minted seats have fixed minimal amount of 0.001 BTC.

Yeah, I haven't received anything for a few years (2014).  Just logged in, but must be suspended.  No worries - it was fun while it lasted.

The Clintons have always been known as ass kissers and they will kotow to anyone who hands them cash. They are not champions of the people that they so claim to be, I for one am happy she didn't win, she is as trustworthy as the devil Himself. Trump will make America great again, Crush ISIS and make bring back American Jobs to the common people.

I hope so.  I mean he talked about having a secret and brilliant plan to crush Isis, but now he wants his staff to come up with one.  Maybe he will just tell them his secret plan is better and use it to crush Isis.

I thought it a bit strange if a country prohibits foreigners, especially Muslims to visit the country. Huh many people who agree with me. what is the reason Donald trump, ban Muslims entry to the United States. and we know the importance of a sense of religious tolerance.  Shocked thank you

First of all, Donald Trump didn't ban the adherents of a particular religion. He temporarily suspended the immigration from seven countries for a period of 90 days until more effective vetting could be put in to practice. And this suspension is applicable for all the people in those countries. It is not just for the Muslims.

The truth is that rather than the problem being with the "Ban that Trump created" the problem was with the completely free borders concepts that Obama was implementing.

That is false.  There were increases in deportations and a very long vetting process already in place under what Obama implemented.  Trump just wants to make sure he is happy with it and maybe tweak it.
I don't think that is correct regarding the so-called "Syrians" who had no paperwork or proof of identity.

Were they allowed in with no vetting?
I doubt that they were released without verification. Now the terrorist attacks on America will not. For them the number one target Europe. Muslims and Putin is not satisfied with a United Europe. For America they will take then.
There was no way to vet them, because there was no government infrastructure operating in Syria.  That's what started this whole issue, if I recall correctly.

So yes, they were being let in without vetting, without any background check.  Avoiding the customary system.  Obama and Clinton would have had us like Europe.

Do you have evidence of this?  And, once Trump starts to re-admit Syrian refugees - will this change or just be back to where it was?  Also, how specifically was it different under Bush?  Did he have an executive order that made things different?  If so, which one?  Or was there a law that applied differently that Obama repealed?

That is right.  But it isn't more effective, but him reviewing the current in-depth process to see if it is adequate or propose a new one.

Does minted seat dividends "on hold" just mean that it hasn't reached the minimum threshold for payment or is there another reason for the hold?

Yes.  That's the only reason they would be on hold.

It was to fulfill a campaign promise so his opponents in 2020 can't say he didn't.  That is why he did it.  He isn't that smart and only can see the trees for the forest.

Why donald trump ban the 7 muslims countries?
He probly has a black heart stone, and idk who's that moron that voted for trump you destroyed the U.S with your hands.

please watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNu4xU9qOEM

obama did ban muslim countries but the media ignores it WHY?

Lol I was going to post this video too

It also seems like a silly excuse.  Why didn't Trump expand the list of countries to include those with verifiable links to terrorists, such as Saudi Arabia?  I thought he was there to shake up things, not just continue Obama's policies.

But then, the big issue is that this was a horribly and incompetently enacted travel ban.  Hopefully we don't see more incompetence from this admin.

That's not exactly what happened. According to State Department data, 9,388 Iraqi refugees were admitted to the United States during the 2011 budget year. The data also show that Iraqi refugees were admitted every month during the 2011 calendar year.
The Obama administration did slow processing for Iraqi nationals seeking refuge in the U.S. under the government's Special Immigrant Visa program for translators and interpreters who worked with American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. That happened after two Iraqi nationals were arrested on terrorism-related charges. But that year, 618 Iraqis were allowed to enter the U.S. with that special visa.
Government data show that during the 2011 budget year, more than 7,800 Iraqis were allowed into the United States on non-immigrant visas, including tourists.

Because the only commonality is the countries.  It was not a ban, wasn't incompetently carried out and was an act of Congress (so it is still on the books).  So, not the same at all.

I know he wasn't the worst, I never said he was, but he lied under oath. Kept trying to ban guns, wow. Achievements? Got a BJ in the Oval Office, high five!
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman"  Grin

Ahhh, yes. He did lie about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky under oath.  I don't recall his attempts at banning guns?  Are you referring to the assault weapon ban or something else?

I'm not an American citizen so I haven't voted, but I'm actually happy that Trump won. Clinton was a proven liar, a wife of a proven liar and one of the worst US presidents in history. She is also quite old and unhealthy, not fit to become the leader. Trump is not perfect, but he's a lesser evil.

Clinton would continue american imperialist policy

Trump will stop it after crushing ISIS

Trump ftw

We shall see.  So far, I am not sure how you 'crush' ISIL without being more imperialist.

There isn't, but after their destruction a reatreat shall commence

We'll see if it's really going to happen

I surely hope so  Smiley

With his recent comments about taking Iraqi oil, I wouldn't bet on it
