I hope he does as well.  If there is anything I can do to help dust's site (dust, just let me know), I am happy to help!

Looks like TerraCoin is wrong (and the block explorer is down).  dreamwatcher - you there? Smiley

I like the looks of this initiative and would be happy to help from the exchange end perspective.

We have a gox compatible rest api but would like to provision something a bit more robust such a FIX or messaging based solution.

Please let me know if there is anything that would help from the exchange / API end.

That would be great!  I need to get a connection outside of MetaTrader working and any help you can provide is appreciated!

Any plans to disable Noirbits.   I read somewhere it was forked 4 times (it has 4 different blockchains).   I mined the entire day today at miners-united.com and did not get one damn coin deposited to my Crypsy account.   I was sending 4 GHs for 4 hours straight.

Disabling now....
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: September 11, 2013, 03:00:21 AM
PLEASE switch ZET back to Cryptsy pricing. Bter is way low and less volume.

It switches to the best price.  Cryptsy was having issues, but all should be good.

Fixed Cryptsy by making my API request a bit more robust (long timeouts, in effect).

Still working on the "select my own exchange" code.

May be you can ask coinwarz? His site looks like working with Cryptsy.

I think my isuse with cryptsy is I am too rabid about pricing update timing and minor hiccups with Cryptsy impact my site.  I just need to fix that.  Coinwarz looks to not care as much about stale data.

I'll contact Cryptsy tonight to make sure I am not accessing or being blocked.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: September 10, 2013, 06:23:35 PM
Coins E market depth being so low has really messed with the prices now cryptsy api has gone awol, eg DMD at 0.00000035 when the highest buy is 0.00082506
and ANC at 0.00000064 when the highest buy is 0.00104001

Is it an error that zetacoins are 4 times higher profitability today? Where can such jump come from? Can the difficulty drop? But i always see miners mine zetacoin so i doubt they all hop out.
Someone knows?
they have a fast retarget (every 4 blocks)
Glad Someone Else Noticed that... I thought it might have been Coinchoose's Fault but poss not... Wish coin choose would only quote from markets that have ACTUAL VOLUME and TRADES within the last 24HOURS and would set a ban on accepting data from secondary markets.  Seems Cryptsy is the best market for these Alt coins.

Coins-E IS CRAP (and Coin-EX is Worse) NO ONE TRADES THERE!!!  thus market quotes CANNOT be trusted from those exchanges  - digeros

My quotes are based on currently open trades to a depth of .1 BTC.  Maybe I should set a deeper depth?

Open to thoughts.

Should have it set-up against the MT4 for BTC-e shortly.

Are their any established C# / .Net libraries for accessing the exchanges?

Neocoin's client keeps crashing when I try to run it (latest git source).

Is there a block explorer with an API?

still problems?

Yes - it still crashes.  I need a Neocoin blockexplorer with an API.

Yeah.  The OP has never read the Constitution and likes to spread it.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: September 09, 2013, 07:35:02 PM
Does it still look down?  It appears up here.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: September 09, 2013, 07:11:37 PM
Is it just me or have all cryptsy based coins disappeared? There are no coins with best price at cryptsy and some coins like Meme and Florin are missing straight out from the LTC trade.

Hmmmm...perhaps the domain changed again?  I will look.

I think the biggest issue will be the pricing feeds......
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: September 09, 2013, 04:54:34 PM
I know.  Not sure how to fix it.  Javascript experts on the forums?? Smiley

A little screenshot of the earlier platform:

I also implemented some exchange API (although not all of them complete). Maybe it helps you:

https://github.com/ReAzem/cryptocoin-tradelib/tree/master/modules

That does help!  I could use http://www.ikvm.net/ for it.
238  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open Source Trading Platform on: September 09, 2013, 02:14:55 PM
I think it is similar and will reach out.  The good thing about this is the code for a working platform is already available.

I am working on updating the code a bit and fixing one of the integrations.  Once that is done, I want to implement one of the exchange APIs and we should be off and running on a platform that already has technical analysis AND the ability to write trading systems.

This is a graphical front-end for traders that will connect to a specified exchange.  The OpenForexPlatform was pretty well developed (even had some expert advisors you could run on it) prior to its development ceasing as a result of it being transformed into a full blown commercial product.
