There has been a lot of talk on the forums on implementing an easy way to convert SXC to $USD and other fiat currencies to help promote its intended use, and there is a website in development for this purpose.

Mined this overnight but now my wallet is not syncing, are there any more addnodes available? All I have is node.billioncoin.net
Another pool up already - 600+MH/s network rate - dang, I am guessing by morning, this will be no fun to mine anymore
Thanks for all the help, it seams i am mining, first time for everything....
though it says i am only doing 1k to 5k per second, i know i wont find anything, but at least i learned something
thanks again
Also seems my old laptop cant keep up mining, ist shut down 3 times so far, maybe to hot, not sure
Flex are you using the pool or solo-mining? It may not be much, but hookup to the pool, you *will* get something that way.

tried to start poll dig, put in server address
address stratum+tcp://stratum.cipherpool.com port 8838 username flexgroo password *******
also dig allready had threads and scantime at 99
i think start dig, and get a message No dig such fail
Flexgroo, unless you are running $10,000+ of hardware, solo-mining using the qt is pretty much pointless right now. JohnDorien has a pool setup, better just use that. You won't get much, but at your hashrate, it will take weeks, maybe months for you to mine a single block.

No blocks found in the pool yet any ideas why?
Wondering that myself . . . pool is already at 62MH and the net hashrate has not changed significantly since the pool opened . . . I'm sure alot of folks switched from solo to the pool but I'm thinking something is not setup correctly here, I would have expected a large jump in the net hashrate

Thanks JohnDorian, rolling now It will be interesting to see what the nethash rate goes to in the next hour

cipher pool is working fine for me
You're the only one - everyone else is getting stratum auth failed Maybe the pool only supports one connected miner
Is there a working pool for Frozen yet? Both links in the OP are broken.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
same here:
[2013-12-17 01:33:58] pool 0 JSON stratum auth failed: (null)
OK, I read the newbie readme but still don't understand if/when the "only one post per 360 seconds" limit can be removed. Kinda sucks waiting 6 minutes between posts.
Not working for me:
[2013-12-17 01:06:38] pool 0 JSON stratum auth failed: (null)

I wouldn't say impossible, just impossible for must of us "shadetree miners"
This coin is being mined to death by big-riggers right now, hopefully the diff will drop in a few hours
So, my wallet says "Number of transactions:2" but I only have one transaction in my history, a mined block.
What does this mean? I have seen this before when solo-mining, never understood it.
I bet the diff will drop significantly here in a few hours. I imagine alot of the "big riggers" will jump onto these coins for a few hours just to get their hands on a bunch of them, on the off-chance they actually end up being worth something later.
I would do the same thing -- if I had the equipment to solo-mine a couple million of these in a few short hours early on, I'd take the chance they might go up to $0.01 later on down the road. Worth the risk on losing a couple hours of more profitable mining on LTC or others.
Wow that hashrate shot up fast, diff already up to 0.59 now. Diff was 0.007 when I started less than an hour ago
Not sure what is the point in this coin . . . the "fun" part is all in the mining (like playing the lottery), why would anyone ever trade BTC for this?
Mortimer, restart the client with the lower block count. It helped here.
Restart worked, but that kinda sucks - I don't want to have to babysit these machines to make sure they're in sync
OK, so I have the qt running on two machines . . .
Getmining info reads this one machine:
{ "blocks" : 295, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00001474, "errors" : "", "genproclimit" : 10, "hashespermin" : 1.06024301, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }
And it reads this on the other machine:  { "blocks" : 294, "currentblocksize" : 1486, "currentblocktx" : 2, "difficulty" : 0.00001179, "errors" : "", "genproclimit" : 4, "hashespermin" : 0.61135282, "pooledtx" : 2, "testnet" : false }
Both clients say they are synchtonized, what gives? How can they be working on different blocks? And at different difficulties?
