I have a feeling all the pools will get slammed again when difficulty changes in a few blocks
Without a doubt - diff retarget is going to have to be reduced to something much shorter I think We just need it to settle down a bit, which I think it will now. The initial mining rush is over, so the huge jumps up and down should be over, now I will be pleasantly surprised if that is the case - however, in about 20 minutes BEN is going to become about 15x more profitable than it is right now. I predict this: Over the next 30 minutes, net hashrate goes to 30+GH for 6-12 hours In 6-12 hours diff adjusts back to ~700k range Net hashrate slowly drops back to ~5-10GH and we are stuck at 700k diff for several days I'll donate 500 BEN if I'm wrong **Edit** Just saw the diff change . . . WTF!?!?

Some buy orders popping up. That's good. If you want your coins to have value, don't sell to these orders. As soon as you sell, the order will be gone and the price will look lower. Instead, take your loose btc change and put in orders for a couple hundred, a couple thousand, or whatever you can afford. Just $1 will buy over 1,000 coins at 100 satoshi, and the more orders up, the stronger the market looks.
Agreed, enough with this 500 satoshi crap, PIR should be worth 4x that Dumpers gonna dump - would rather take $20 now than wait a few weeks for $80

Bedtime . . . I give up, good luck to those still waiting

Source on bitbucket still locked - I assume they are still re-relaunching?

Motd2k appears to have updated the OP with the Allcrypt listing, still no response from my PM's. And I offered him a pretty hefty bribe to just turn ownership of Piratecoin.co domain name to me so we can get this coin moving.
Next step is full-on mutiny.

we sorted the linux issue https://mega.co.nz/#F!CFZxwTrR!79rtn4b-_yIX_YC_iXBJew You may need to give build_detect_platform permission if it gives an error. chmod +x leveldb/build_detect_platform Other than that. coin.conf needs to be in the same folder as rainbowcoind ALSO : It still compiles as bitcoind, you can just rename it to Rainbow You also need to edit the getmininginfo rpc call to return networkhashps so we can properly view the network hashrate, right now there's no way to tell other than just manually adding up all the pools

You need to adjust block reward settings in mpos your estimates are all whacked, and change hashrate modifiers to ghs!

looks more like 625 per block not 10,000
i am guessing dev already mined all the 10k blocks?
Yup he did. Coin already premined for 2 weeks, 15000 blocks[\size]  { "version" : 80600, "protocolversion" : 70001, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 15594, "timeoffset" : -17, "connections" : 4, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 1.00000000, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1393833528, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "errors" : "" }

Original dev motd2k is totally AWOL - least he could do is turn this over to someone else who's interested
Such a great website, block explorer is live, pools going, just listed at first exchange (AllCrypt.com), too bad really.

It should be noted at this point the developers investing pool is entirely in Aircoin, to the sum of 2,500,000. In order to counteract large price movements they will need access to bitcoins. So in order to have this "safety-net" they must first sell aircoin. In the short term this would contradict what they hope to achieve as they would be releasing more Aircoin into the market supply (inflation). Once done, they would have a safety net available. I would assume that every time there is a dip in the market they would then need to deplete their bitcoin reserves by buying up the aircoin being dumped. Now using this method they can almost be assured to increase their investing pool because once that support is established the price will have no where to go but up, and they will be able to sell the cheap aircoin they purchased at a profit. This assumes non-repetititve crashes, as obviously their reserves could be depleted if a continued downward trend happened.
Been thinking this since the beginning . . . in order to drive up AIR price, you must have a reserve of BTC to be used to purchase AIR
