381  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: SELL YOUR BITCOIN for 20% OVER BITSTAMP! MoneyPak, Vanilla, REloadit. on: September 25, 2014, 03:24:26 AM
So is this guy legit? Has anyone used his moneypaks or vanilla reloads, no account / cards closed after?

I was the first one here to do the trade with him. Legit, VR code did not get reversed. But take your chances, because he did not originally buy these reloads himself. They're purchased from other people and flipped on here or LBC.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=727175.msg8317319#msg8317319

I don't see how he could "flip" legitimate codes at 15-20% over and still make a profit. Something else must be going on..

Who are giving you these codes? Why? What are they getting in return?

You won't get into any trouble. Don't worry about it.

Max I can offer at this moment : 0.15

Amount : 0.12
 Reason : Hashing Power, Rentals
 Term Length: 7 - 14 days

You're going to keep asking for loans even with negative trust? Someone would have to be pretty foolish to give you a loan without collateral.

I want to get a fucking loan, but some fucker accused me of being a scammer, and it's bullshit, now I can't get anyshit, even if I offer %200 Collateral.

Fuck it, I quit bitcointalk.

I'm pretty sure any lender here would give you a loan if you offered 200% of good collateral.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
384  Other / Meta / Re: My friend got banned. Why? on: September 22, 2014, 05:26:06 PM
Accounts don't get banned for not being "legit". They get banned for breaking rules, like continuously posting low quality and/or off-topic posts, unsolicited PMs, and that sort of thing. I checked over your friend's posts and they're very low quality (though I've seen worse), so that could be the reason he was banned. Looks like we'll have to wait for a mod to know for sure.

387  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Loans with & without Collateral on: September 22, 2014, 08:45:12 AM
I am sending monnecon's loan now. Do not double send it!
Great, thanks for letting me know.
388  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: skrill + 30% for bitcoin on: September 22, 2014, 07:01:05 AM
Another reversible payment method! With a high rate.

This seems funny.

Why not go to the ATM, get some money out, buy a MoneyPak and then trade?
Or is that not reversible enough for you.

MoneyPaks can get reversed too. It's harder than say PayPal and not really worth the effort when they only go up to like $500 or $1,000, but definitely possible. I wouldn't trade with this user for anything other than mailed cash - even WU and MG transfers are reversible, because they're known to sue recipients if things go wrong on the other end.
389  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUYING BTC with 2.5% fee, SELLING BTC with 0% fee (WU/MG) on: September 22, 2014, 06:55:15 AM
WE SELL BTC (up to $100k a day):
  • 0% for >$10000 - currently $404 for 1 BTC
  • 0.5% for <$10000- currently $406 for 1 BTC
  • minimal fee is $30

Just to clarify: rate is btc-e if purchase is less than $10k, but there is a fee of 0.5% if purchase is more than $10k? Normally bulk purchases are cheaper, unless that fee is for the convenience of liquidity.

I'm willing to buy, but I'm assuming you can't accept USD cash in the mail since you're not in the US? Can you take paypal from my trusted account?

No, it's the opposite - .5% if less than $10K and 0% if greater than $10K.

<$10,000 means less than $10,000.
>$10,000 means greater than $10,000.

I wouldn't mind buying like 10 BTC. What do you think would be the cheapest payment option from the US, in terms of fees?
390  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Legit Bulk Amazon accounts with balance @ 80 % on: September 22, 2014, 06:33:26 AM
Odds are they're hacked accounts. There are plenty of forums where people sell this sort of thing. I doubt OP is going to directly rip anyone off, but you may have some issues if you transfer funds like this to your account more than once or twice.

Note that you're usually not stealing from the person whose account got hacked - you're stealing from Amazon, because these funds are likely acquired from social engineering Amazon via the hacked account.

You can make your own decisions regarding whether or not you care. I'm definitely not buying, though.

393  Economy / Currency exchange / Selling Up to 20 BTC/TX at Coinbase +4% | Buying Up to $10K/TX at Bitstamp -1% on: September 22, 2014, 05:03:23 AM
Selling

Coinbase (including their $0.15 + 1% fee) +4%. BTC is sent 4-5 business days after the escrow or I receive the money, but the price is locked in at the time the money is received.

I can accept cash in the mail, precious metals, or cash in-person in NorCal.

I can pay escrow fees, though you are responsible for any costs the escrow provider incurs. I don't have an official minimum, but I cannot accommodate small trades, unless they're in person and you travel to me.

Buying

Bitstamp -1%. All fees paid by you. Payment made same day as the transaction. Happy to use escrow, paid for by you.

Amount of BTC: 0.0025
Collateral:None, sorry.
Reason:To invest in somebody for a sec
Length of time: 48 hours
Repayment amount with interest:0.003

I know i am a newbie, but i hope you can give me a go.

Where are you from and what do you want to invest in? You can PM me if any of the information is confidential.

I am from Australia. To be honest, I am investing in a person that uses the bitcoins to gamble. But he guarantees the return, so even if he loses it, he gets the bitcoins from the exchange and send it over to me. I fully understand you if you can't approve this, because the lack of collateral, my rank is only 28 activities(although I posted nearly 40), and no positive trust. I trust the person I am investing as I have done a lot of deal with him previously and he has gave all the return to me successfully. Thanks.

Who is this person, mate?

Loan :0.5 btc
term 28days  paid every 2 weeks
Collateral
cash money
I can loan to you a full 1 BTC, actually. What is your address? I'll send it over right away.

Also, nice joke. Wink

Thanks.  Cool
395  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking for paypal funds on: September 22, 2014, 04:02:54 AM
looking for paypal funds for my BTC . trusted members please.
looking for 100$ worth payment in BTC .25....either you send first or we escrow unless you have high reputation

Tell me exactly what good escrow will do?
It will protect the guy sending PayPal from wasting his time.

I recommend using someone trustworthy or else you have a high likelihood of losing your money and hurting the standing of your PayPal account. I'd contact BayAreaCoins - he has been buying BTC via PayPal at market rate.

397  Other / Meta / Re: Forfeiting scammer accounts to me on: September 22, 2014, 03:44:32 AM
Although I have not been here that long, you would have major problems enforcing this and proving the loans. This would just lead to the mass sale of accounts which I don't not think is allowed here. Wrong. Sales of accounts are allowed in all capacities. You would also have everyone trying to say a high valued member scammed them. Non-issue. People do that nowadays too, but unless they have proof or extremely substantial evidence, nobody cares. Heck, even if you do have evidence, you're still unlikely to get something from a trustworthy member. For example, Stunna still owes me about $30 in BTC from their sig campaign in August, but other than sending him a couple PMs (which haven't been responded to, of course), I'm not going to do anything about it. It's not worth the time spent and bridges I'll burn trying to go after him for a few bucks, especially when some members here may think he has a counter-argument.

Regardless, it's not up to staff anymore to decide whether or not someone someone has/is scamming. That's why this particular idea of moderators forfeiting the accounts of scammers to the lender is not going to happen. If you want a scammer's account, offer a nominal sum of money for it - as long as that amount is more than $0, you're paying above market value for an account with red trust. Then, clear the issues with the account, get it back to neutral or positive trust, and flip it to make back the money you lost on the defaulted loan.

"Hold" instead of "hodl"? Not impressed.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who else has invested in LTC? on: September 21, 2014, 11:38:43 PM
You claim LTC has done nothing for months; well, BTC has not either; it's just going down (like LTC).
Doesn't change the fact that LTC is still the second most traded & used coin, and there are still days that LTC's traded more than Bitcoin. You can't say that about other cryptocurrencies.

LTC is faster & more secure. And the creator of Litecoin is known, unlike the creator of Bitcoin. Remember the chaos when a Times reporter claimed to have ''found Satoshi''? What IF the real Satoshi is found? How will that affect the price? What if he is a criminal and uses his vast amounts of Bitcoin to support terrorism? You have to take that into account.

I am currently 70% in LTC & 30% in BTC. I am confident about LTC's future.

There are dozens of coins that are technically better than LTC. LTC is technically better than BTC, but BTC is the first and the face of the industry.

LTC has very little real world use. Dogecoin has more actual use than LTC.

LTC isn't the best in anything anymore. In this industry, unless a coin is the best at something, its value will continually decline. Give it a few months and Litecoin will be back at $0.50.
