"An interception requires not only a lapse in offensive perception, but a heightened defensive perception as well." - Lao Tzu
Oh yes, I forgot about the ancient Chinese philosophical teachings Taoism and the Art of Avoiding Interceptions. I guess I got immersed in Sun Tzu's The Art of Gridiron, where the master pontificates "the battle is won and lost on the line".
Congrats to morvillz7z for taking the Championship! Well earned and highly deserved. Also congrats to Hueristic for a great season. The two of you were well placed in the championship game, great job to both of you. Send me your addresses, and I'll send you the winnings. I know it's not quite official yet, but it looks official enough to me.

I may not be familiar with the name taco but from little researched i made it seems to be called shawarma to my local understanding because that is exactly how shawarma looks like it is comprises of all details i find in my research.
Tacos are indeed very similar to Shawarma, but the spices, seasonings, and toppings are slightly different. In Greece they call shawarma "gyros," but they are essentially the same thing. The way the meat is seasoned can actually be very similar also. The primary spice is cumin in both, but in varying quantities with other more local seasonings added. Tacos and Shawarma can be made with chicken, but originally shawarma are made with a mixture of lamb and beef. The toppings can also be similar; everything from fresh tomatoes to cabbage, fresh or pickled peppers, cilantro, and fresh onions. I've never seen cucumbers on a taco where they're quite common on shawarma. The main difference is the sauces; Mexicans use a tomato or tomatillo based salsa, Arabs use tahini (sesame butter) based sauce or a yogurt sauce, and Greeks almost exclusively use a yogurt sauce. The best shawarma I've had was in Ramallah, Palestine, where the locals claim it was invented. I've also had them in Nablus and Al Quds (Jerusalem,) all amazingly good. In Amaan, Jordan they can be found on almost every street corner, and also among the best I've had. Once I made the mistake of trying one at Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, never again! The worst was from a street vendor in New York where they put mayonnaise on it. Fucking mayonnaise! There are a couple of local mom and pop delis here in northern California that do a decent job. Shawarma meat is cooked on spit like the photo below. Mexicans use the same method for cooking adobado, al pastor, and trumpo which are all essentially the same thing (marinated pork,) but come from different regions of Mexico. There's a sense of regional pride and friendly competition about which is the best. I don't eat pork, so I can't tell you if they are any different from one another. Chicken and beef for tacos is usually cooked on grill, but one of the unique things about tacos is the variety of meats one can choose. Carne asada (beef) and pollo asada (chicken) are grilled or sauteed, lingua (beef tongue,) cabeza (braised beef head,) pollo verde (chicken braised in tomatillo salsa,) buche (braised pork,) carnitas (deep fried pork,) or adobado variants as mentioned above. White people tacos are usually made with ground beef, which is an inexcusable tragedy. My favorite tacos are carne asada and cabeza.

Ravens have got to be the best team in the league no?
No. LOL! That game wasn't so much the Ravens playing great but the Niners playing bad. The Niners beat themselves last night.

Well, it was fun participating last year, so here I am again. I'm no more alt-coin literate than I was last year, and if anything I'm even less so. I'm pleasantly surprised that I'm not in the negative for 2023, because I do own a bit of all non-stable coins I listed last year, lol.
Here're my choices for 2024: Monero because I find it a very useful coin and it's been a very stable store of value. Ripple because I think with ETFs becoming more mainstream and Ripple's marketing strategy, more brick and mortar banks may actually start using it for what it's intended. Dogecoin because I still think it's likely to be incorporated into X/Twitter which I imagine would cause it to pump. Ronin because it's ranked below 100, it seems to have done well last year, I'm alt-coin illiterate, and I like the name.

Awesome game between Ravens and Niners -- possibly the two best teams in the league right now. That's a great pic DireWolf. Even though your team lost, I'm sure it was a lot of fun to be there.
It was an awesome time. My youngest brother and I drove down early and cruised the stadium, then got a text from my other brother who had gotten tickets from his wife just that morning. We went to loiter by their seats for a while, and my sister-in-law showed us the video of my brother opening his gift that morning. The look on his face was priceless. Someone else we know got us into the Union Club where it was quite the party scene. We ran into some other people I hadn't seen in over 20 years, and met some random people we ended up partying with for a little while. Even though the Niners were struggling everybody was in a festive mood, and having lots of fun. I think that was probably a preview of the Superbowl, but I hope the results will be different if I'm right about that.
Congrats on the Fantasy win @morvillz7z and @Hueristic!

Brownings bases on the tactical date examined
It looks like you're AI got confused between football and firearms.

Lol, that sucks. Mullens had some good games as a Niner, and I always had respect for him but he's so inconsistent I don't know that would have trusted him for a FF playoff game.
Wootwoot!

Miley Cyrus and Rihanna. What are we supposed to assume from it?
Look up "spirit cooking parties," use a Tor browser. I might be falling into a category of people I would have dismissed as "conspiracy nutjobs" three months ago. This shit is fucking sick.

First and foremost; DireWolfM14 is not suicidal. If you've been paying attention at all, you have probably heard about Jeffery Epstein. You may have also heard that he was trafficking child sex slaves, and that he had blackmail material on nearly everyone who he's been affiliated with. If you've dug deep, you probably know that he also has close ties to Israel and their secret service agency, Mossad. Zionists have been at the forefront of everything that's wrong with this world for decades. The degeneracy of ethics and values, the devaluation of fatherhood and family, and the dilution of cultural traditions can all be traced back to the efforts of Zionism. It's a historical fact that they were the biggest beneficiaries of the slave trade, but you probably thought that was over. They are the biggest purveyors of smut and pornography in the world today, and all evidence suggests they are still heavily involved in human trafficking. Epstein's client list was finally released via judicial order, here it is. It contains the name of every Democratic president for the last 30 years, and nearly every big name in Hollywood and news media. Note that not one of the people on this list (despite many claiming to be humanitarians,) has condemned the genocide currently being perpetrated on the Palestinian people. If you consider yourself an American patriot and you still support Israel, wake the fuck up! https://nitter.net/naticoineth/status/1737727208767250537#mAdam Perry Lang Akon Al Gore Alan Dershowitz Albert Pinto Alee Baldwin Allison Mack Alyssa Rogers Anderson Cooper Andrea Mitrovich Andres Pastrana Angelina Jolie Anthony Kiedis Anthony Weiner Barack Obama Ben Affleck Bernie Sanders Beyoncé Bill Clinton Bill Gates Bob Saget (deceased) Bruce Willis Casey Wasserman Callum Hudson-Odoi Celine Dion Charles Barkley Charlie Sheen Charlize Theron Chelsea Handler Cher Chris Tucker Chris Wagner Chrissy Teigen Cyndi Lauper Claire Hazel Courteney Cox Courtney Love Demi Moore Dan Schneider David Koch David Spade David Yarovesky Dolores Zorreguieta Donovan Mitchell Doug Band Drew Barrymore Ed Buck Ed Tuttle Ehud Barak Ellen DeGeneres Ellen Spencer Eminem Emmy Tayler Fleur Perry Lang Francis X. Wh..whaaat.... than who should we trust if not those amazing three letter agencies that exist only to serve and protect us? How did I forget the IRS? Good luck selling them.
Thanks.

You cannot trust that the ATF really took these off their watchlist.
I don't have to trust, I was able to verify. The CA DOJ wouldn't give me the Law Enforcement Release paperwork until the local police department contacted the ATF to have the guns removed from the national list. The local PD had missed one of the other guns, so the DOJ gave me the runaround until I figured that one out. But, your point is taken; the ATF is not to be trusted. Nor the FBI, NSA, DOJ, CIA or any other alphabet soup. I had to joke, good luck with the sales! Thank you. I know you were joking, I lol'd.

Do they come with a list of crimes they were used in? At least one, but that's gonna cost you extra just for being a smart ass. Look at the photos of the .45, it's been through some shit for real. I do have the case numbers if someone wanted to look up the incident that lead to them being seized by LE.

That definitely sounds like a scam. If they already have $100k, why on earth would they need him to send $10k more?
Not to mention, that app is not available on the google play app store, it's only available on third-party sites. That's also a red flag.
I'm sorry for your dad's loss, but I doubt he'll ever get that money back.

Please read:Several years ago these pistols were stolen, then recovered by law enforcement some months later. After many years I was able to retrieve them, and of course I have California DOJ paperwork showing they are no longer listed as a stolen, and removed from the ATF's list of stolen firearms. I cleaned and tested them, and found them to be in good working condition. Some show signs of use and ware, so please review the photos carefully. I've tried to highlight all the cosmetic flaws so there are no surprises. USA residents only! Must ship to an adequately licensed Federal Firearms Licensee.

@everyone. On the Broncos vs. the Lions, what is everyone's prediction? Do you reckon can win against the spread on -4.5? This might be Detroit's chance to start another small winning streak hehehehe. The Broncos offense is not very good and Russell Wilson might not be very trustworthy. Their run defense is also not very reliable.
The game will begin in 1 hour.
Broncos are improving every week so it should be a close game as the Lions D has been going down the drain and Goff has been looking bad under pressue again. But the Lions run game is still great and Broncos D vs the run is weak. I wouldn't put money on this game. I came to the same conclusion as Hueristic, it looked intriguing for about 1.8 seconds. Both teams have been close in their final scores most of the time so any given week can go either way. And since it's an interconference game, there's even more uncertainty. I wouldn't touch that except for some props, maybe. I think the best bet of the weekend is the Seahawks ML.

This is the first time I wanted BCT to have a down vote option. Lol I do not trust Brock Purdy yet in a big game against someone like Patrick Mahomes.
I don't have the same concern, he's not Jimmy Garoppolo. So far the only playoff game he's lost was due to tearing a ligament in his elbow. Obviously the QB has a huge impact on the game, but the more telling thing is that the niners are the currently the most balanced team in football, second in most points scored and first in least points allowed. They are over 40 points ahead of the next team in terms of net points. That gives me confidence going into the playoffs, but there's still lots of football to play.

Interesting developments in the FF league this weekend; The big battle at the top of the standings was between the Barbarians and the Coiners, leaving the Coiners to fend off the remaining field in a battle for 4th place. And it appears that ChiBitCTy lives to fight another day. Nothing will be official until tonight, of course, but it looks like both the Bowlers and TwentiWan are dropping to 6-6, and ChiBitCTy improves to 6-6.
If this holds, that means no challenger for the fourth playoff spot will be able to finish with a record better than 9-6, and that means the Potatoes will clinch a spot in the playoffs. The Barbarians and the Brewers each need one more win to clinch. For the Coiners to clinch they'll need two wins, or one win and one loss for all the 6-6 teams.
Technically, the teams that finish 5-7 after this week still have a hope, but it's slim.
