Here's an idea. It's already becoming a fiasco. Just let the member list stand. If someone got away with a sock puppet than so be it. It's not worth ruining the reputation of the project over it.
I have to agree. If a legitimate user gets mistaken for being a sock puppet and then has their stake stripped from them (a stake which they paid for) only to have it then put on auction, well that could cause a lot more harm than the sock puppet would have in the first place!

ELI5 - How is NEM different than other coins? I'm ready to buy my stake!
One big difference is POI (Proof of Importance) as no other coin offers this. POI will try to alleviate some of the problems with POS where only the large account holders are able to generate any interest. With NXT for example, even if you had a million of them in your wallet you will barely forge anything. POI is totally new, a system where nodes are rewarded based on their "importance" to the network.

I can only vouch for Bitsleep, Ive invested £180 0.51btc and am earning roughly £10 (0.02756btc) a day and this has been paid out to me. My projected goal is 1.28000000btc, we will just have to wait and see but all seems to be good so far, just need more people to invest As soon as they provide some proof as to their trading activities, I have no doubt many more people will be investing if everything looks good.

I allready propose to make a correct french translation a month ago, still waiting for dev's answer..
Indeed I forgot about that. Sorry. We got a reply from the original author of that translation and he made me believe that it is not a google translation. But if it is not good enough from your points of view (we do not speak a single word french) then a new translation would be good I guess (with the current, updated information). In fact, it's literally impossible to understand anything from this "french translation" if you are french. I don't know if it's a google translate job (it looks like), but be assured it was made by someone who didn't speak a word of french neither Sacrebleu!

How do you get the test Nodes, or is that finished already? Account number is 13055393831320963920
After June 25 we will continue to send test coins very good idea to keep promises, but i didn't receive anything ... P.S. can somebody from node stakeholders say if anybody has seen this node test coins by own eyes They have only been sent to a small group of beta testers so far. I received some and sent some to help test out the network. As SiilkRoad has indicated, the rest of the test coins will be distributed to all members soon.

Um, I'm sorry but gambling isn't the problem here. Any serious bettor will tell you never to bet more than 5% of your total bankroll. Actually, to be really safe, most people will say to bet 1-2% of your bankroll.
You bet 100% of your bankroll in a single roll! What the heck did you think was going to happen? Even if you had won, eventually there is no doubt you would have lost it all with that kind of risk management.

Both are cool. If I had to go for one I'd favour the original though. It's cleaner and clearer.
Exactly. I worked at IBM for many years and I can't tell you how many workshops I had to sit through when the instructor went on and on about the proper use of whitespace. But now when I look back, I'm really glad he drilled those design principles into me Aye, have been working in design projects a lot.. please just keep it clean and simple! Jakob Nielsen the usability expert has been preaching KISS (Keep it Simple, Stupid) principles for almost 2 decades now. I've worked at more than one place where the managers bought his "Designing Web Usability" book for everyone on the web team and made us read it LOL. Though the book is from 1999, the principles are timeless and are still taught in web design classes today: http://www.amazon.com/Designing-Web-Usability-Jakob-Nielsen/dp/156205810X/ref=la_B000AQ2MFK_1_2/182-1999542-0424405?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1403882119&sr=1-2

my version of Transactions page: 2hypersire, chek it on w3.org LOL TY Your version is beautiful too. A little too busy looking for me. Agreed. And U5sos' has some advantages, for example : Currency Symbol OMG, I didn't see this before as I have U5sos on ignore but this is supposed to be a "serious" design? It looks like it is meant for a 12 year old video game / slot machine addict. Thanks, but I will stick with the original comps that I have been working on as proposed by Siilkroad. I can certainly add graphical symbols beside the currencies in the balances list if people would like that.

I must chime in here as I have been watching and hoping that this turns out to be legit. I too looked at the blockchain and all deposits go directly to the payout address. There isn't a single transaction coming or going from an exchange. Bitsleep - forget the escrow as it is understandable that you need the money for trading but you must provide some concrete proof that you are really trading. From what I have seen so far, you simply take the investments and pay people out of those same funds and no additional money is incoming or outgoing. This: Of course, this is our payout address. If we invest all our btc then we can't pay everyone every 8 hours. (withdrawal time from exchanges is not stable) We set out to invest investors' btc when we have 1 btc, and only 50% of this. For now we continue with our funds. Thank you, James www.BitSleep.com - Make Bitcoin Sleeping!Ok, that is a reasonable response. So just provide some sort of proof of actual trading activity to show you are legit and then I'm sure many lurkers in addition to myself would be willing to give you guys a try!

about the NXT AE I'm not sure it's a great idea since it will probably cost the devs time and delay the release, and I noticed with NEM that the current price (around 30000NXT for 1NEMstock equivalent to 1million NEM) which considering the total number of NEMs and current NXT value would mean a market cap of around 8million dollars. Since NEM infrastructure etc is still being developed I'm guessing this market cap won't be sustainable and the price should fall after the release. This in turn would delay price increase and adoption since investors would hold back for a while. my 2 nodes Why an earth NEM price will after launch ? Hype is starting to Grow around it and as seen before with mastercoin, Xcp and nxt price blew up after launch and then fell steadily. I am also a stakeholder in NEM and I wish it great success! But let's not confuse NEM with Node - Node is bringing some new things to the table which is why I chose to be actively involved in it. Node will be built on Node.js. For those unfamiliar with Node.js, it is VERY popular in web development circles due to its speed and modularity. See here for a good breakdown on Node.js benefits: http://www.toptal.com/nodejs/why-the-hell-would-i-use-node-jsIn addition, the Node devs seem to be very intent upon integrating fiat (USD/EUR) conversions within the client. In my opinion this is HUGE as the trends indicate people are moving away from centralized exchanges. All this on top of a fair distribution indicate very good chances of Node being a huge success IMHO! So for now, let's just wait until the coins are distributed on Friday and then as a community we can come up with some more ways to get Node into the public's eye!

I haven't received any PMs! Almost missed it. It was your fault that you've lost all account numbers. Now you have to PM to everybody to make it up for us instead of threatening! If someone ignores your first PM reminder for a couple of weeks - 10% is fair, ok. If someone ignores your second PM reminder for a couple of weeks then it's most likely a puppet. Yes, we had not yet send all We'll extend the period 2 hypersire, this project in work now, and I did not check it for errors. you know that clerical errors - a common occurrence. no need to discredit me, I have refused to offer their services And I think - it's Node thread - you can PM me if u wont spaek about it) your design is dull - Humble yourselves on the subject your work (or my) I will not reply in this thread (PM plz) Layout design was provided by us, hypersire nothing to blame He did everything we asked for, we like the result Thanks SiilkRoad! I'd also like to point out that constructive criticism is always welcome to help improve the site. For example, someone a while back mentioned that it would be better if the animations on the web site didn't loop. So I did some comparisons and in the end I felt that person was right so I changed them. But if you come in guns a blazing with empty criticisms and then show me a site full of coding errors, I'm going to call you out on it

on the subject your work (or my) I will not reply in this thread (PM plz)
May I kindly remind you that you were the one who came in here claiming that the work I did on the Node site looked, ahem, "unfinshed" and then you proceeded to complain about the outline on the standard Blockchain/Twitter buttons which you are supposedly familiar with. Yes, consider the conversation closed. If I need some web design advice, don't worry, you are the first person I will check in with.

I was building web sites long before Bootstrap and jQuery, since 1998 actually (which I am guessing is a time you don't remember as you were still crapping in your diaper).
You see, in web design there are things called "branding", "consistency" and "usability". People are familiar with the Blockchain transaction screen - there is no point in making a new layout for it when Blockchain's is well known, recognizable and user-friendly.
rly? it user-friendly disign? LOL I end this dispute and will not do anything. I'm currently working on three projects. I have no time. 2 Node team: if you pay this person more than 0.5 BTC - you're wrong current workLMFAO! I was hoping you'd provide a link. Mine: W3C Validation results for http://nodecoin.com/node-client/transactions.html:Validation Output: 1 Error Error Line 5, Column 53: Bad value X-UA-Compatible for attribute http-equiv on element meta.
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
Note - this isn't even a real error. It is a hack that comes with the Bootstrap template for IE compatibility. I could easily remove it but it doesn't do any harm so I leave it to force older IE browsers to render the page better. Now let's take a look at the results of a more "serious" web site: W3C Validation results for http://prowatt.by/:Validation Output: 6 Errors Error Line 47, Column 77: An img element must have an alt attribute, except under certain conditions. For details, consult guidance on providing text alternatives for images.
<a href="/"><img src="http://prowatt.by/templates/corporate/img/logo.png">
Error Line 48, Column 9: End tag div seen, but there were open elements.
</div>
Error Line 47, Column 15: Unclosed element a.
<a href="/"><img src="http://prowatt.by/templates/corporate/img/logo.png">
Error Line 50, Column 16: An a start tag seen but an element of the same type was already open.
<a href="#"><div class="link tc">статьи</div></a>
Error Line 50, Column 16: End tag a violates nesting rules.
<a href="#"><div class="link tc">статьи</div></a>
Error Line 50, Column 16: Cannot recover after last error. Any further errors will be ignored.
<a href="#"><div class="link tc">статьи</div></a>
FFS, you don't even close your tags and you are trying to teach people web design?!?!?!?!GTFO!

Wow, I'm sure glad you are on it! I only made a six figure salary for over 15 years building web sites for some of the largest companies on the planet. It's good to know some one who wants to remove the default outline from a button is willing to build something more "serious" and they pay a real money for bootsrap design? LOL, I think you're lying I was building web sites long before Bootstrap and jQuery, since 1998 actually (which I am guessing is a time you don't remember as you were still crapping in your diaper). LOL, while you are at it you can offer your design to Twitter and Blockchain.info, multi-million dollar companies who use the exact same buttons. I can only imagine how much more successful these companies would be if they had you as a designer.
I also use Bootstrap.css. But I think node serious project, and it needs a serious design Wow, I'm sure glad you are on it! Could you share your thoughts with us???! What you don't like, and what would you suggest to be improved?!
outline on buttons on click; block with nuber of confirmations - button. Why?
That was a very, very nice job in 2007 year or later
and on the whole it does not look finished. I can offer its own version design? hypersire, with respect to you LOL, while you are at it you can offer your design to Twitter and Blockchain.info, multi-million dollar companies who use the exact same buttons. I can only imagine how much more successful these companies would be if they had you as a designer.

can we just create a deposit address on BTER for the NXT id?
No because you must be able to access the Asset Exchange and you can't do that from within Bter.
