i had this on another a few other cryptocurrency a install of a other GPU driver did solve it
seems some versions of nvidia driver created this behavior on my system

if u able run a masternode because (u have above 10000 DMD) i strong suggest u do that
it will earn u more and by move uf coins into MN u reduce the POS competition for the people
who cant start a masternode yet

DMD based on 4 1/2 years coin distribution is already a very secure coin based on distribution
and by have a major friendly wallet run in POS mode we even increase that to the most secure POS3 coin i know

i dont understand people running 10 20 or even 30k DMD in POS mode instead of start 1 2 or 3 masternodes

i think the only competition for NEM is ETH
BTC will keep his status as "gold" means not much usecase beside valuable

NEM and ETH will be the powerhorses of the blockchain future

and ETH have the problem of its code on chain concept which have many riscs involved

so i see there is still some missunderstandings here

first of all there is no annual % based interest

there is a annual % based coin inflation

which start at 25% and will constant decrease as u can see in the whitepaper

now who get a share from this inflation also called coin rollout

35% of each block found go to the finder
65% of each block found go to a masternode

now what that mean about ur potential POS or MN income a year

MN its easy u know how many other masternodes are there

u so basically ur income will by daily coinrollout *0.65 / by amount of masternoded

so if we have a coinrollout of 1500 and there are 100 masternodes then its

1500*0.65/100= 9.75 DMD a day per masternode

now how is the same for POS

its much harder to estimate because we dont know how many coins and how structured in coin piles compete for the POS blocks

all we know is each block found 35% go to the finder

so each day 35% of coin rollout is going to POS "miner" i call it miner because in fact its much more like mining then minting
its a competition to find a block and ur coins act like "hashrate" to increase ur chanced find a block

still true is the more other  coins compete in POS the less often u will find a block in POS
the more own coins compete the more often u will find a block

the more coins are removed from POS competition because they act as a MN collateral or they are in offline or exchange wallets
the more the active POS users will earn

u can full unlock too even if unsecure

the important part is not to unlock before all sync steps are finished

if u unlock to fast u never start to stake

password protect ur wallet (encrypt)
copy a backup of ur wallet.dat  on save place  (not same PC)

restart wallet

wait until the sync bar disappear
wait 1 min longer

unlock the wallet in minting mode (tick the checkbox at unlock)

wait up to 5 min

the diamond icon bottom right should be blue
(if u have mature coins(with more than 640 confirms)

leave wallet running in this state as long as possible (ideal 24/7)
