What are the actual real world plans for the use of this coin? I’m unsure of the distribution route, the roadmap on the main website doesnt really explain it
website will get a content refresh in time to represent the DMD v3 features the coin rollout speed and coin max stay on the old plan just a bit streamlined for less reward jumps and utilize slow decreasing curves rollout vectors are MN (masternodes) POS POW so a broad range of users can participate in coin rollout options to take part in DMD Diamond coin rollout: with no coins POW with some coins POW and POS with much coins POW POS and MN |

On that point let me take the opportunity to welcome DMD Diamond as a new member of our http://bitcoinsulting.eu taskforce and let me tell everybody some updates about our organizational structure, why it exists and why it is growing, to answer questions, i have been asked multiple times. It does not primarily exist, because we planned to build one, but because we realized, collaboration makes everybody stronger. I think the past has been proving that fact. Every member is in, because we got to know each other and he started appreciating the way, we are used to work together. since getting into crypto back in early 2014 diamond is the only alt i've hodeled to this day.
if only i did the same with all the shitcoins alts I mined back in the day (that i thought were going nowhere but down ...scam, pre mine etc..),
but i'm not going there, its too depressing.
(hint...among others... one was lite, one was dark .and oh yeah...they are worth a bit more today (understatement))
anyway...glad to see diamond doing well.its way past due.
So buy now folks. This coin is a bargain.

some stories never change early 2014 dmd was called the next DRK (former name of dash) and 2017 again people see the potential in similar dimensions lets see if we can make it happen but our goal was never be the new/next xy goal is to be the next and better DMD DIAMOND - evolution v3 - new chapter in our success story |

can some one point me to more info on the dmd 3.0 plan/roadmap?
in last few pages u find some hints the close to release whitepaper will be revealed at DMD 4th birthday few weeks later u can expect the release so we aiming for a summer release but short story: DMD Diamond stay max 4.38 million coins coinrollout will need the same expected 30 years bitcoin base 0.1x Hybrid POW/POS(static reward) with masternodes (10000 DMD per MN) optional anonymousTX and quickTX MN reward dynamic balance based on how many MN exist this way make sure that there will be always a vital amount of coins in POS (and hashrate in POW) POW algo is not yet full decided it wont be groestl Very interesting, been holding and staking DMD for quite some time now and have always been impressed with the persistence of the development team. Also have thrown some money at the cloudmining opportunity as well. So can you speak more about the "static reward" for POS and also maybe what pow algo are being considered? pos and pow will have same blockreward basically static pos mean u can "mine" with ur coins.... dont worry there wont be a competition between pos and pow miners they dont compete and run against seperate mining difficulties and blocktime goals pow pos blocktimes will be asymetric because a higher part of coin rollout should go to pos miners 3x more pos blocks than pow blocks will be produced regarding pow algo we strong consider xevan for a possible merge mining with our sistercoin bitsend in future its at the moment a cpu and amd gpu algo but creation of a nvidia miner should happen by demand soon too i expect |

will the DMD reactor act as one or more MN ?
reactor will not act as MN at all reactor will pay back all borrowed coins beside dmd foundation member coins and this funds will be split on 3 addresses and 3 different nodes and build a strong POS security backbone still 70% of reactor rewards will go to DMD CLoudmining as bonus payouts (30% stay in reactor to keep the relative strength (vs total coins) of the wallet not decreasing to much) |

what time line this masternode upgrade having?
will there be a governance/voting addition?
will there be developer funding block tax?
what form of anon are we going for?
interesting news but how long is implementation going to be?
we aim for whitepaper release at DMD 4th birthday and the wallet release not much later so the goal is a summer release we aim to have a voting system but we wont link any MN tax system we see a voting system as a way to get feedback we will have a small development funding mechanism but not in a way that it cut MN rewards on each block we will start with "normal" anonymous transaction as dash invented it but we aim to evaluate other mechanism too as example pivx is researching based on zerocoin protocol we have a new DMD Diamond Foundation Member who will join us as CTO and lead developer an stick with us not just for DMD v3 release but also for upcoming improvements that will be added later on so dont worry about ongoing development but still we wont play testcoin for new technologies but follow our strategie of adding proven and secure technologies to expand DMD Diamond abilities |
